Another great experience at this Charleston's location after flying into OKC from Baltimore. This is my family's go-to meal spot after arriving at Will Rogers World Airport. Easy to get there, free and easy parking and excellent service. It was very busy for a weekday afternoon but it was holiday season so I figured a lot of businesses were probably hosting their staff luncheons. The service was still attentive and professional. I really enjoyed the fish tacos. They were cooked just right and were very flavorful, topped with cabbage slaw and wrapped in warm tortillas. Yummers! You can always get a great meal here, no matter what you're in the mood for. Nice ambiance - dark and intimate, yet casual enough.

We don't really know where to stop to eat in OKC. We were just driving through. Did a quick Yelp search and landed @ Charleston's. We were greeted right when we walked in and seated almost immediately. I guess we sat in the bar. Our server was very friendly & attentive. We were very happy with our food choices, a burger and a salad.

Food was fine. Service was good. Ambiance was what I've come to expect for Charleston's. I had mixed feelings about the Shrimp Scampi. Tasty, but the shrimp was overcooked. My server was the bartender because I opted to dine at the bar. She was prompt, kind, and efficient. I didn't see my drink selection on the menu but she confirmed it was still an option and shortly after which placed a Bellini before me. It was late lunch so the restaurant was somewhat quiet with just two other parties at the bar. The receipt conveniently offers a tip guideline. Wish it the guideline was calculated before tax. Regardless it is handy.

Wow, they were on fire this day! Came in on an early weekday lunch with work friend. We were seated immediately. Our server Samantha was exceptional, friendly and efficient. She recommended the Pink Diamond drink benefitting Breast Cancer Awareness month and it was delicious! She told us the special Chicken Salad Sandwich and that was so good too. We asked to substitute the side with the Baked Potato Soup bowl and she even told us there was a $2 upcharge, which we had no problem with but so appreciated being told in advance! Food came out fast and hot. By the time we were leaving they were starting to get busy, over half the restaurant was full, bustling with patrons.

Walked in and was immediately greeted by 2 hosts that asked my preference on seating. I chose the bar high top cause that's my business. My server Alaina was very attentive and friendly. I got the spinach dip which was very similar to Hillstone's but the chips here were super thin if you're into that. Still very tasty. Another waitress came by and placed a new plate of chips on top of my current plate of almost empty chips which was weird but hey maybe it's their thing. My dinner selection was the Hawaiian ribeye which again same name as Hillstone's and the flavor was very on point so we'll let them battle it out in court. They do watch you cut into it to make sure temperature is how requested which is nice. Great char and the onion strings on top are a nice touch. Baked potato was basic so nothing to report. Cesar salad was kinda dry but the honey butter croissant made you forget that. Overall it was a delicious experience and I'd probably come back.

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the airport and was glad we did, the food and service were great. We had the queso and chips for an appetizer, house salad and we both ordered the French dip with havarti cheese and onions. The queso was delicious and was happy with the salad, fresh greens and an overall nice salad. Our server kept our drinks full and was very attentive, the French dip was one of the best I have had in a long time. Great menu choices for all food types and a pleasant atmosphere, overall a good experience and highly recommend if you are looking for something other than the airport food or just looking for a good place to grab a bite. We will definitely make this place a must stop next trip.

Stopped in for lunch between the airport and my hotel. It was after 130 so while there were a few others eating, it wasn't busy. I was sat immediately. Both the hostess and waitress were polite and welcoming. I opted for Walt's Champagne Chicken Salad. It was THE best salad I've had in a very long time. Everything was fresh and delicious, served on a chilled plate. Long strips of chicken, strawberries, pineapple, dates, feta. The croissant that came with my salad, melted in my mouth. Perfect!! Ordered a piece of carrot cake to go and, it too, is absolutely delicious!! I come to OKC a couple times a year. I can't believe I've been missing out on this amazing restaurant. Fixing that today.

OVEN ROASTED CHICKEN, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables

The food at this location is always amazing. I had the roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection as usual. We like to sit in a booth in the bar. So comfortable! Aside from the wonderful food, I have to give major props to two people. Our server, Samantha, was super friendly , informative and professional. She even brought us damp towels and lemon slice for our hands toward the end of the meal. She informed (whom I assume was the manager) Lee about my need for gluten free. He came to our table and asked some questions about allergy vs celiac. We had a great discussion with Lee. (Also a super friendly person). He assured me that they take great care in changing gloves, cleaning work surfaces, etc, so I would feel safe with the food. I gotta say, I nearly cried. NO ONE has ever taken that much care and kindness in a restaurant and I will never forget this experience. Many, many thanks.

Chicken tender dinner was delicious. I took the leftovers with me!

I was staying at a nearby hotel in OKC and stopped into Charleston's for dinner. What a pleasant surprise! I enjoyed myself so much I came back for dinner the very next night. The food was very tasty, reasonably priced, and the menu had lots of options. The drinks were great, too! The server was friendly, engaging, and made me feel welcome. The restaurant is larger inside than it may appear on the outside; but it's sectioned off well, so it's not noisy and you don't feel crowded. I highly recommend this place and if I ever make it back out to OKC, you'll definitely see me at Charleston's!

Must try: T-Bone Steak and a Double Deuce Beer!…read more Why: I've been craving steak for a few weeks and when I arrived at OKC a few people recommended Cattlemen's. Ordered a medium rare steak and it was juicy and tender. It was also a large steak. Meal came with a house salad, baked potato, bread and a roll. I was also going to order Lamb Fries as an appetizer, but the waitress was able to let me try one piece on the house - great service! It would have been way too much food for one person. I washed it all down with their refreshing Double Deuce Beer. Everything was flavorful and satisfying - the steak hit the spot for me. Notes: It was a quick drive from downtown. Right when I walked in I was welcomed by hostesses and seated immediately. Everyone was warm and friendly. Def felt historic and legendary inside with their table booths, photos, and decor. A great hearty meal for my last night in OKC!

Both were served in short order & although we wouldn't say they were the best we've ever had they were terrific nonetheless. Our server did a decent job & the prices were quite fair ( 2 Entrees, 3 Cocktails & a Dessert for $ 150.69 ) Next time we find ourselves in Oklahoma city we will certainly stop back in for another great meal, possibly even for breakfast since they open at 8am.

Redrock Canyon Grill - Lake Hefner…read more First visit--and I can confidently say this place just earned a spot in our regular date night rotation. We walked in to a packed house, which is always a good sign, but were seated immediately. From there, the experience never missed a beat. Beverly took care of us and was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. We started with margaritas, and when Beverly said they were "perfect," she wasn't overselling it. Smooth, well-balanced, and served ice cold. We're both olive fans, so of course we asked for extras--and they delivered without hesitation. Going in, we made a deal: appetizers or dessert--not both. After hearing about the pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla ice cream, that decision was made pretty quickly. For the main course, Beverly walked us through the menu and the weekly specials: * Rainbow trout with roasted peppers and cucumber salad * 14 oz peppercorn crusted steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli & parmesan I know my wife--steak was the obvious choice for her. I went with the trout. Both dishes were excellent. The trout was cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful sauce that didn't overpower the fish, and the vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. The steak was cooked just right, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli finished with parmesan. What really elevated the night was the hospitality. Kirsten, the manager, stopped by to check on us and took the time to have a genuine conversation. She shared details about patio seating and upcoming live music nights, which we're already planning to come back for. Then came a surprise--she graciously covered our dessert. A classy move that didn't go unnoticed. And that pineapple upside-down cake? Warm, soft, topped with melting vanilla ice cream... absolutely worth skipping the appetizers for. The Bottom Line: Great food, exceptional service, and a relaxed but polished atmosphere right on Lake Hefner. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or a nice evening out.
