They have a pretty extensive venue for a taco truck, including everything from tacos, of course, to burritos, quesadillas, nachos, tortas, gorditas and even tostadas and huaraches. They also offer elotes and arroz con leche. The burritos are major favorite here, but the best in my opinion are the birria tacos near absolutely amazing. They're located right on the corner of 13th and 5th and there's usually one or two people milling around outside. And trust me Friday and Saturday nights look like a party out front but the service is amazing. P and they don't care. You can order for dinner for yourself or a party of 10. They do not care. I've ordered from them and their second truck in Bay Ridge, but usually only tacos and not super often because they're not in my near vicinity. Lately, I've been on a chorizo plate KICK, let me tell you. My usual places are Tacos El Paisa and Tacos Lopez 2 (those are the best spots for chorizo in my area). Howeverrrrrr, their truck just popped up on my Grubhub with a crazy $10 off $15 deal. There was no way I was turning that up. Typically, I leave a request asking for the cold items included with the plate to either be put on the side or packed all together in smaller, separate container. Reason being that otherwise, they prepare your order and put guac, lettuce, crema and pico de gallo in a container full of hot meat, rice and beans-- and then it sits there waiting to be picked up. On top of it then also traveling with the courier while in transit. It gets soggy, the guac turns brown and warm, tomatoes mushy, it's a sensory thing for me. I also make sure to call before placing the order just to ask if it's okay (if it's a new spot) or to remind them (with my go tos). Their truck is in Park Slope and I'm in Midwood so it's AT LEAST a 20 minute drive. When I gave them a call, I spoke to the person in Spanish and explained exactly this. "I wanted to know if it's possible to pack the cold items from the plate separately so they don't get soggy during delivery?" I was genuinely taken so aback when he put me on hold and came back to say no. When I said, "Can I ask why? It's not like I'm asking for more food, and I live quite a bit away so I just want to make sure it doesn't get soggy," he put me on hold again. Then he comes back and says quite rudely "They said yes but we're only going to do it this time." I immediately just said forget it and decided not to continue with my order. My request was nothing out of this world. I wasn't asking for them to give me a bigger portion of greens and sides, I simply didn't want them shoved in a closed container full of hot items. I think that's pretty reasonable considering I've never had any issues with the same request when ordering elsewhere. If they had been a little nicer and more accommodating, they would've made a loyal customer out of me. I would understand if i was asking for something ridiculous like guacamole without onions. But that wasn't the case and so it doesn't matter if the food is good or not, a lack of *basic* customer service will forever and always be a deal breaker for me. read more

Did a quick delivery order and was surprised at the portion. For a large size tacos, they can add a little more meat. The consume was delicious but sadly was cold. The burrito was stuffed and delicious. It was so stuffed that it fell apart. The Carnita and fish was the best. First time having roasted pork where there's fat and goodness all in the taco. I have been going to this food truck for some time now. I don't know what happened, we ordered over the phone, my boyfriend specifically asked if the "El Pastor" burrito had pineapple. This was never a problem before. But the guy working this evening was a jerk!!!! Not to mention I ordered a vegetarian tostada and they didn't even put refried beans in it - this is what I got - I had to take a can of refried beans I had in my cupboard and add them myself. Extremely disappointed with the food and the service especially the service - so unfriendly. We live right down the street and will never go there again - extremely disappointing!!! This taco truck has been my go-to spot for Taco Tuesday ever since March lockdown when all restaurants closed down. The most affordable food truck in Park Slope Brooklyn with $2 tacos and $5 guac and chips. They also have burritos, quesadillas, nachos, tortas and other items I can't even name. Not sure of what days they're on this block, but they were definitely there on a Sunday night right outside of Young Ethel's, who has their menu at the bar plus "free delivery" (which I guess means they just walk into the bar with your food?). Tacos are a cool $2 apiece, and they also have burritos, quesadillas, and nachos. I got the carne enchilada, chorizo, and chicken tinga tacos. All very solid. The chorizo was probably my favorite of the bunch. The salsa verde was really good. Also got a plate of nachos for the group. Without a doubt the best birria tacos (and consommé) I've had in NYC... and as a native San Diegan/LA-er I've had a lot! Stick with the things that benefit from being stewed/marinated (al pastor, tinga, etc.) and you'll be rewarded. The tacos and quesadillas in particular are among the best I've had in the East Coast. The burritos get the job done but lack the punchy flavor of the more meat focused stuff. They also have a wide variety including classics such as lengua and carnitas including the other parts typically not seen in American Mexican places.
