The bang bang chicken at Shiso Crispy didn't just steal my attention. It robbed me, took my wallet,…read moreand I'd gladly help it escape. First off, the crunch is so loud it could qualify as a sound effect in an action movie. I took one bite and half expected someone to yell "CUT!" The chicken itself is juicy, but let's be honest it's really just a vehicle for that bang bang sauce, which tastes like sweet, spicy, and "text your ex you've changed" all rolled into one. I told myself I'd share. That was a lie. A bold faced, shameless lie. The plate hit the table and suddenly I turned into a territorial raccoon guarding its last meal. By the end, my fingers were sticky, my dignity was gone, and I was seriously considering ordering a second round like I hadn't just embarrassed myself in public.

Shysters. The tuna dish was 19 dollars. Was a good dish and my gf got it a few times. Now it "was"…read moresuddenly 24 dollars and is half price for 12. Kind of weird but okay. This is a new dish, if you can even call it one. Literally two slices of tuna, no side of sauce which it's supposed to have, a bunch of old cabbage for filling (even though the new container is half the size as it is), and what could be nothing else but soggy potato chips (yes, literally they put in chips, I don't even know how else to put it except it literally had chips in it). Pathetic. Completely pathetic.

I stumbled upon this food truck randomly and boy am I so so happy I did! I do not live in the area…read moreand it's such a shame because these arepas are something I crave daily and want everyone I love to try. Not only was the arepa out of this world but I wanted to drink the green sauce that came with it. I also got a side of fried plantains because duhhh and they were perfectly crisp and sweet. The 50/50 arepa was half chicken half beef and it was loaded! I wanted to save half for later but it was too good to put down. Not only was the food delish but the service was even better. The young lady working the register in the truck was so sweet, she probably thought I was crazy when I said it was my first time having an arepa, I myself can't even believe I waited so long to eat something so delicious. I can't wait to be in the area again so try another variety of arepa!

I have tried the Beef Arepa, Chicken Arepa, Seasoned Fries, and Fried Sweet Plantains. The Beef Arepa was stuffed with a thick layer of tender juicy shredded beef and melted cheddar cheese. The Chicken Arepa was filled with a generous portion of tender juicy chicken and melted cheddar cheese. The Plantains were warm, gooey, and sweet and the Fries were crisp, savory and covered in a flavorful seasoning. Overall, Moon Frog Arepas is a nice stop for lunch.

It was packed with flavor, super filling, and somehow still didn't feel heavy. Every ingredient tasted fresh and everything was perfectly balanced. The portion size was generous, the flavors were spot on, and it kept me full for hours. If you're visiting for breakfast, do yourself a favor and order the breakfast burrito. Can't wait to order the breakfast burrito again!

Location: Central Coffee and Sandwiches Date: June 28, 2026…read more Service: Take out Order First time ever at Central Coffee and sandwiches stand. I am staying in the area and wanted to check them out I saw this super long line of people waiting so it reminds me of back home in New York so I had to check it out. The prices are reasonable you can pay with your card they have a iPad and you could submit in your name and your order. I love the decor that they have this displayed outside of the stand they have limited hours they are open daily but only from like 7:00 to 2:00 or 3pm depending on the day and the time. I knew that I wouldn't be back in time before they close or decided to get a sandwich before they close later on today. I like I was conveniently placed downtown or Franklin Street which seems to be a popular street down here lots of movement. I have added the second part of this review the sandwich was a generous portioned size. Check out the photos attached to this review.
