I love Rocky's tacos! Sooooo good. Very delicious and one of my top 5 taco spots in Tampa. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked tortillas, little fat on meats, and beautifully spiced sauces. The owners are super friendly and so attentive, if you are eating there. Husband and wife truck and the service they provide is nice. It's on the corner of McKay and hillsborough ave. So it's pretty loud just because you are next to the main road. There is limited seating for eating there. One table to be exact. However, eating in your car is the better option to avoid the flies lol. At $3.50 a taco, they are a good size and punch so much flavor! Torta's, Burritos, and quesadillas are also offered at around $11-$12. Great aguas, juices, are provided as well. I've been here once before and honestly, forgot how delicious these tacos were. This was honestly the best experience with Mexican food we've had in a long time! Let me start by saying I ordered via DoorDash on Thursday night around 8:45pm. I was reluctant but it said they were taking orders until 10 and felt that was enough time to not be inconsiderate for a few simple items. Upon reading some DoorDash reviews, everyone seemed to have pretty positive things to say so we ordered a steak burrito and 3 steak tacos Mexican style. We got our order around 9:50pm, something must have happened that caused a delay as it was originally estimated to be here by 9:30pm. When we got it though, I could feel heat radiating out of the bag which was a good sign. Two boxes inside, I opened the first and found his burrito with.... A bag of BBQ potato chips? He instantly questioned the place and I assured him the words "authentic Mexican" were used frequently in what I had seen online. We each got one small red and one small green hot sauce, the red being the favorite with strong heat and a lot of flavor. His burrito he described as "bigger than expected. Lots of crispy pieces of steak, while that's not a bad thing it's a little dry. Would be better in moderation with some meatier pieces." My tacos were a little greasy but found my leftover reheated amazingly the next day in the oven. The grease caused the tortillas to have a beautiful crisp to them. While the steak dried out while reheating, sauces were a great addition. Overall, we decided that this place did really well for an end of the night weeknight meal and we'd be willing to order from here again. Needless to say, they've been bookmarked on all of my food apps. My biggest downside was I wish they had a little more on the menu like elote, chips and salsa or guac, etc. but I can live without those for now! read more

I have driven past this little red trailer every day on my way to work and have never stopped by. They're located on W. Hillsborough ave right before the ABC Pizza on the right hand side of the road. I tried their Al Pastor taco and Asada taco and also had an Asada burrito. The tacos are one delicious corn tortillas, doubled up so they won't rip and topped with onion, cilantro and queso fresco. They were AMAZING! The meat had so much flavor and they didn't skimp on anything. The burrito was HUGE and had fluffy white rice inside which was a nice touch. The steak was perfectly flavored and the tomatoes and cheese and sour cream were amazing. Each taco is $2.75 and the burrito is $9. WELL worth it.
