I hired them to cater for my dad birthday party and let me just say that the food was so delicious! Tacos el May do not mess around when it comes to tacos. They provided me with more than 5 meats! We had Asada, pastor, pollo, buches, tripas, lengua, cabeza. The food was juicy and tender you can taste the love when they cooked. Let me just say the Aguas they provide so good. I got Strawberry milk, horchata, Jamaica and strawberry lemonade and you can tell it's homemade. The caterers are crowd pleasers and for sure I will be hiring them for my future events again! Omg delicious, great portions and affordable. Was going to eat pho tonight and drove by the yummy smell and had to stop, and so glad we did. tacos el may is so good! it is located in front of the BofA on bolsa and magnolia (where ABC supermarket is) & there is plenty of parking. i got the asada, pastor, and suadero, while my boyfriend got the buche, cabeza and tripa. the buche, cabeza and the asada were my favorites! the asada was a little dry, but there was a smoky flavor to it. the pastor was also really good, but not as much of a stand out compared to other meats. the tortillas were a litttttle tough, but it may be a personal preference. it's $2 a taco and CASH ONLY. would definitely return and get more! read more

We found this stand by accident. They were sold out of almost everything but we tried some tripa tacos/mulita & another meat ( forgot the name) but it was really good! Pretty good! I'm a believer of giving every taco stand I encounter a chance and if I don't like it I'll just never go back. Anyway I was here a couple years ago for some tacos and it was pretty meh and they kind of skimped out on the meats for a $2 taco so I never came back. Kept seeing this place pop up on my Yelp suggestions and wondering how the heck they have high ratings after what I've experienced. Couple years later it's late at night I'm driving home with limited late night food options so I stop by here again. Screw it, give them another chance. I don't know if something changed or the last time I was here was an off night - the tacos were tasty and had a decent portion of meat. Way to redeem yourself! This was a delicious and vibey spot in Westminster. Tacos were made efficiently and salsa varieties were perfect. Very nice people working there, had a cool chat with the lady I paid about real life stuff. Sat with my friend in his car in the lot as we got into our swag. It was delicious and the perfect so cal setting. I had a pineapple juice which was also throggle of my generation. I will definitely go back and I approve of every meat I tried. I had asada, cabeza, and pastor. The cabeza was epic and marbled, delicious. Asada was smokey and good. Pastor was well marinaded and lush. Sooo good. They're really nice, have vietnamese on their menu and have some delicious flavored cucumber (not necessarily pickled). I have been to, probably every, street taco vendor from the San fernando Valley, to L.a, long beach and all around OC. This isy fav. Their seasoning on the pastor is amazing and salsa is sooo good. Their avocado salsa is nice and chunky, and that seasoned cucumber is amazing. I have not seen the seasoned cucumber anywhere else. read more

I was introduced by a friend to go here and now I go here pretty much every other week surprisingly. It's $2/taco. I love the meats. I get chicken, al pastor, asada and tripe. They're pretty good and addicting, I want to eat more and more after I finish my tacos. The avocado sauce is super good in addition to the onions and lemon they have on the side. They have some drinks on the side that you can order as well. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family and take them there! read more

Was in the Westminster area craving tacos and saw this place was at the top of my recommended list. Rightfully so, they deserve their rating. I ended up getting both the tacos and burrito with asada and it did not disappoint, along with their service. The workers there are speedy and very friendly, making sure each customer is getting an A1 experience. As for ambiance you cannot say much, it is stationed outside on the street but its what you should expect when going to a taco truck. All I have to say is "Wow!". This is one of those places that you make time out of your week to plan and go to wherever you are in Socal. That's how good it is. I just moved here and wanted to try a good local taco spot. Tacos El May was th first on the list and had great reviews and now I know why. I got the mixed meat burrito, yeah, you heard right, you can pay $2 more and get a mix of any meat combo you would like and they have a lot of meat options, at least 8. The Al Pastor is spinning away on the spicket and bbq to perfection as one guy stands there all night I would imagine, and just cuts away at this massive mound of meat. The fresh bbq smell coming out of the flat iron grill and the containers of freshly cooked meat engulf your senses with protein euphoria... This is the type of place you see on Youtube foodie clips and say to yourself, "when i go visit that country, I'm definitely eating that", except that place is right in your backyard in Southern California. They'll grill cheese into your tortillas and they DO NOT slouch on the portion size, good god. You fill your own burrito with cilantro and onions from a big bucket on the table, which is excellent in my book. I went ham on mine. You give it back and they roll the burrito for you while you gather your grilled jalapenos and onions, pickled jalapenos, guac green sauce (mild) and roja sauce (hot). I got two Jarritos with a mixed asada and brisket burrito, 2 al pastor tacos and 2 pollo tacos... FIRE. This is definitely my favorite taco joint! My go to is the Al pastor tacos with pineapples and I top that off with a large horchata. I have to go at least once a week! And sometime you would have to message them on instagram to see if they will be there. So if you are in your way or is thinking about it I recommend to DM them on insta just in case. Came here after a concert on 7/30 in Garden Grove, noticed that Yelpers had 5 stars for this location and oh man are this Yelpers Right! The tacos where so good we went in for a second round definitely recommend if you are in the area best tasting street tacos I've had so far their mixed peppers with 's the tacos are so tasty we couldn't get over it next day! Amazing street tacos! This is probably my favorite taco stand in the area as of now, their stuff is just delicious. At $2 a taco it is a tad more expensive than some stands but I appreciate that that let you pile on as much toppings (onions, limes, cucumbers, salsa) as you like. Everyone working there has always been nice as well. Their avocado sauce is a must have on their tacos it's delicious and I love that they have grilled onions as well. This is a great taco spot. I've been coming almost every week. Their pollo is so tender and juicy. I usually don't like pollo but it tastes so different here. They have great Al pastor as well. Love how they really pack the meat in the tacos. Makes it well worth $2 a piece. Sometimes they have really long lines but it goes by fast. Parking lot is right in the plaza by the bank. I'd say, I usually would come here for the tacos since it has such a good savory taste, but wish the meat wasn't a bit salty and oily.
