The food was delicious! It tasted very authentic which was nice. I had the chicken gorditas and they tasted fresh and full of flavor. The margarita was also so good but my favorite was the michelada. It had a good kick! I love the outdoor seating area and there is also seating inside. I would definitely be back again next time I'm in Newberg!

I ordered the day's specialty, Sam's Tacos--three freshly handmade tortillas filled with shrimp, bacon, and steak, served with a delicious spicy peanut sauce. Every bite was savory, flavorful, and completely worth the wait. Since everything is made fresh to order, don't expect your meal to arrive immediately. However, the quality more than makes up for the extra time. You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into each dish. My friend ordered the huevos rancheros and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The portions are generous, and we both left feeling full and satisfied. Kopitos is tucked away in downtown Newberg, making it a fun little hidden gem. I noticed they advertise live music, so it's probably a great spot to visit in the late afternoon or evening. They also have plenty of outdoor seating, which would be perfect on a warm, sunny day. There is limited parking in front of the restaurant, but street parking is available nearby. I highly recommend Kopitos if you're in or around the Newberg area. Fresh, flavorful food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere make it well worth a visit!

Where do I begin? We…read morewere on a little road trip to Pacific City and decided to stop by Camino along the way. We came in HUNGRY. The restaurant has a cozy, homey feel, and the staff took the experience to another level. When we sat down, they asked if we wanted to look at the menu or simply leave it up to the chef and go with the "Francisco Special." Without even glancing at the menu, we decided to trust them... and we were so glad we did. It ended up being one of our favorite dining experiences. Every one of the five courses was spectacular. They also asked about any dietary restrictions before the meal began. We didn't have any, but after chatting with the chef, we learned that he has spent time eating plant-based and experimenting extensively with plant-based alternatives. Based on that conversation, I imagine they would be more than capable of accommodating dietary restrictions. One of my favorite parts of the evening was that each dish came with a brief explanation, either the story behind the dish or details about the ingredients and preparation. It made the meal feel thoughtful, personal, and memorable from start to finish. I wish I got more/better pictures of the food but our phones didn't eat first this time... P.S. Their chocolate tamale is to die for

Ice water at the utensil stand. Service was so friendly. There were meats we were unfamiliar with, so the counter staff offered us a small sample. Barbacoa is now my jam! We ordered 4 meals: Chile relleno, tamale special, torta, & enchilada special. The specials are well-priced at under $12. We stopped in about 45 minutes before closing and staff did not rush us out. Nothing fancy ambiance-wise and this place looks similar to other Mex places on Front St. So make sure you're in Luis'!

No business embodies the vibrant Mexican community of Woodburn more so than Luis's Taqueria…read more Located along the strip of businesses on Front Street, this family owned business have been a perennial destination for Michoacan-style Mexican fare for over 3 decades. The first thing folks will notice is the colorful decor of paper piñatas across the ceiling and the spacious digs with lots of 4 top tables for some limited group action. Orders are placed at the counter and the menu is vast enough where there is something to offer for everyone. Some immediate recommendations would be their tamales platter, along with their enchiladas rojas, and their Americanized tacos dorados. Their burritos are especially large and a complete gut bomb for anyone looking for a major filler. Their ceviche tostadas are beautiful, along with their layered tortas, and hearty chimichangas. While I don't love their corn tortillas or the tacos, I would be down to give them another shot. Cabeza and carne asada especially. The prices have crept up over the years, to where many items have hit the sub $10+ range and even tacos are at $3.50 a pop. There is a price to pay for fame, but the only time it should be dinged is if the price no longer matches the quality. Ultimately, this will always be one of the city's most popular lunch destinations and local haunts. It's so well known that Obama has been here (#1) and continues to bring in new faces every week. This is a must visit for any Mexican food lover and especially for first timers in Woodburn. ____________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/luiss-taqueria-woodburn?select=iYjRIeJrLS47keUaG0_vVQ

I got a tamale and enchilada, I asked for beef for the enchilada but ended up getting ground beef when I wanted shredded beef. I saw a lot of one star reviews saying that the food was bland, but I didn't think so. The rice beans were just OK but sometimes it's better to have a not so flavorful and in your face right and beans to accompany the very flavorful enchiladas. The ambience there is very nice. Our waiter was attentive, and the margarita was absolutely fantastic--a definite highlight! If you're in the area, it's worth giving this place a try. Would I come back? Probably!
