Tacos are bae! This little taco spot was delicious and they're quick. Don't expect a fancy sit down, you eat in the air or sitting on some wood but the point is you taste yumminess. Each taco is $1.50 and they're tiny but mighty. I ordered three but only ate two. Got 2 asada and 1 chorizo. Their salsa bar is awesome too. They sell Mexican cokes and can cokes too. Please note that this is cash only.

Sooooo goood! I was craving streets tacos the night before, so we visit another little place in Kearns and was a total disappointment. The next day, we decided to drove down State St were we know we can find real street tacos. That is how we found this place. The line was huge, but the lady at the cart was very fast. We got 8 tacos. Our favorite were the carnitas tacos and the alambre tacos. They were all so full of flavor and cheap at $1.25 each. This is definitely a place to visit more often.

Anyone up for some delicious tacos?

Okay, so perhaps I went a little taco-overboard today. A taco truck at the office for lunch and another taco truck at a social gathering this evening adds up to some dueling tacos reviews--and on this day, Tacos El Pariente was the clear winner! First off, these were authentic street tacos--doubled mini corn tortillas, packed with meat, and on the side they had ALL the fixins (four different sauces, diced tomato/onion, cabbage, radishes, peppers, etc.). I was thrilled to see they had al pastor tacos, and I took full advantage! Four al pastors and an asada later, and I was in taco la-la land. Each of the tacos had incredible flavor, and the side toppings were incredibly fresh. I snagged a business card just so I can reserve the services of Tacos El Pariente the next time we have a big family event--just park that cute little taco cart on the driveway and keep 'em coming. Oh, yes please!

Won the taco heart for Valentines Day. Delish tacos. Salsa slaps, so good for all heat levels. Happy and helpful staff. Super clean environment. El Pastor and Asada Tacos are muy bueno! 10/10. Thank you, El Pariente and U92!

One of my good friends is going back to his country for a while & so we met up here for good, pretty, & cheap food (los 3 b's, we call it). I tried almost every taco variety & I loved all of them. They had the best variety of toppings and salsas too. The woman was very kind as well and even patient! When I went to pay with my card & she said cash only, she told me not to worry about it & to enjoy my food first while it was hot & then I could go get the cash to pay her. My mother & friend stayed while I went to get the money. This is definitely going to be a place I frequent.

Tacos weren't very good. Nothing special. Lady that was there was rude. Better off looking somewhere else.

This is an odd service but it's acceptable especially since their foods are impeccably delicious!…read more You order and pay inside, then take your bill outside around the corner to the food cart. The cook makes the food, hands you the food, you add all the toppings you wish (without judgment), and can go back inside the restaurant (unless you grab the wrong door and end up at the barber) to sit at a table or wherever you wish to eat. I got to select however many meats with no toppings and was pain free for the rest of the day (conclusion for me: no additives triggered a wobbly digestion in response). Everything looked and smelled fresh. Ambiance: bit bare inside, definitely not cozy. But if you are there to get food and eat it, it should be good enough.

It's a cash-only establishment, and the prices are so low that you'll easily be able to have a nice meal for whatever you've got in your wallet. I enjoyed two tacos-a beef and a chicken, both absolutely amazing. The flavor is great, the tortillas are warm and fresh-everything about it is great. If you're looking for authentic street tacos and don't mind eating in your car or in the parking lot, this is a fantastic option. I may find myself driving over and setting up a taco picnic in the back of my truck this summer. Grab a plate and come join me.

There's nothing to put you in the mood to reward yourself more than volunteering your time to help your little brother with a mess of a sprinkling system. They're located on the north side of 7800 S. in between 1300 West and Redwood Road just west of Sizzler. There's not much there, but you can't miss it - they run an extension cord from one of the local businesses and have a blazing OPEN sign in the front of the truck, a light on their sandwich board near the street, and the inside of the truck is lit up. A lighthouse guiding weary landscapers to meaty goodness. Naturally, I turned my ship around and found safe harbor in the parking lot. I'm not one who judges food by the person making or serving it; I think an eskimo is equally capable of making a fire-roasted pig as an islander, but for those of you who do keep track at home, my entire interaction with them was in Spanish. In fact, I never heard a word of English from them or their customers. For what it's worth. I went with a basic carnitas taco and asada taco. Both were tender, but the carnitas came away winner. I topped with an assortment of pickly things, pico de gallo things, radishy things, squeezed a lime, and squirted some of their special "Salsa Imperio" and "Salsa Hua...??? something or other." I knew I'd forget the name. The Imperio was too spicy for my wussy mouth, but the other was a little meaty, smoky, and perfect. I'll be back for that alone (and I promise to write down the name). They sell a few things that I don't see everywhere. Tacos made of lengua (tongue) and cabeza (head muscle). Can't wait to try them. They also had a mean looking torta that's calling my name. It's too early to tell, but having another bona fide truck running around and seeing some menu options looks promising. I don't know who runs the thing; there's a sign on it that says if they don't give you a receipt, call this number etc etc, which makes me believe it's not an owner/operator situation. Still, it's mean food and the gal running the show was supah cool and got food out fast. She told me they're located here Wednesday through Saturday for dinner only. 5-10 on Wednesday and Thursday, 5-11 on weekends. It's a little out of the way, but tongue tacos may be worth the drive. I'll be back with an emptier belly to investigate.

So I was really excited to hear that a taco truck is doing business on 7800 S in West Jordan. The menu here is pretty basic. Tacos are $1, tortas are $5, and they also do quesadillas and soups. From what I've had, I've been really impressed. The carne asada is flavorful, the carnitas are juicy and tender, and the barbacoa is bien picante. I tried the chicharron (pork rinds) and they definitely weren't my cup of tea. Soggy and spongy. No thanks. Their fixins bar is basic, but still offers a nice variety. They offer several sauces. One is orangeish and tastes a bit like peanuts, and that sucker is spicy. I usually stick to the gringo side and go with the green guacamole sauce. Really tasty stuff.
