I wanted to update my review because often times places are great and then they aren't... these people however are AWESOME. Thank you so much for your quick and competent service. I've never been here in person but I'll make sure to one day give it a visit. Every time I've called them, the delivery is quick and always right. The orders are cooked properly. This time I ordered things I don't usually get like a taco and tamale, I do NOT regret my decision and will order this again. Everything I've gotten is great. I 100% ordering here especially for delivery.

Simply amazing. The tacos were one of the best that I've had recently. The rice and beans were not as flavorful as I had hoped but it did the job . There is parking in the front and in the neighborhood.

We've ordered from here a few times already. Someone suggested this spot to hubbs so we tried them out and they are a solid Mexican restaurant. The food is fresh and the staff does their best to make sure your order is correct. There was even one instance where my delivery order was wrong and when we called, the woman to whom we gave our order, admitted to and apologized for the mix up and sent over the right dish straight away with a sorry note and smiley face. Sometimes it's the small things that make or break a customer's perception of a business. All of their food has been great. We've tried quite a few things from their menu and they're not stingy with the condiments. We usually pick up food or get delivery because they have a small dining room. The convenience is that they're so close to my residence, about a fifteen minute drive away.

I cannot speak well enough of this place. Like tacos with homemade tortillas? Go here. Like fresh, well made Mexican food of all sorts? Go here. Like feeling like you've stumbled into authenticville? This is the place! From tamales, to tacos to cemitas to mole de olla, it's all handmade Mexican culinary awesomeness.

Solid delicious tacos! Do not expect anything glamorous as it's all very fast and taken out. We ordered the al pastor, chicken and chorizo. Al pastor was the best as it was very flavorful. The tortillas are also excellent as they are freshly made and you're able to taste that flavor once you bite into one of their tacos. I would also recommend the horchata, it was very fresh and delicious. I'm dying to return here and have about six more of their al pastors! Great place for a quick bite.

Calling to place the order was a little difficult wish they were on GrubHub or other internet ordering site. Also their site would not load and the menu on AllMenus was not entirely accurate. The food was really good and relatively inexpensive. We had take out, the food was ready pretty quick. Will totally go back and would recommend this spot to friends.

Love this place. Little spot, I think run by a family, really make you feel like you are eating at one of the places where the Spanish food came from. Not a fancy place, no dressing code, no official host, but good Spanish food always fresh and always delicious. My favorite are their Chicken Quesadilla, Tacos, and Nachos. But I am guessing that everything is good here.

Not to bash Yonkers, but it seems like a town where the culinary attractions (among other things) are few and far between. Driving around, looking for lunch I passed by Tacos El Poblano and thankfully decided to give it a shot. I have not tried much from their menu - various tacos and the huevos con chorizo for breakfast one morning. As others have stated the ingredients are fresh and everything is well prepared. My only (albeit minor) complaint is that I'd like a lime in lieu of lemon on the side. That being said, the reason this place really shines is that the portions are HUGE, and that says a lot in a cusine not known for being skimpy. I'd normally order 3 tacos for lunch while here I only require 2 (though get 3 anyway because I can't control myself). The huevos con chorizo had me absolutely stuffed all day, I don't think I even ate dinner that night. Further kudos for having a hot sauce (the red one) that's actually hot. Staff is friendly as well, stop by if you're in the neighborhood!

Oh my god this is my New Mexican spot. Authentic Mexican food, the sauce, food, natural drinks are very fresh. Service was excellent. Restaurant was clean a quiet. It hast it's own parking space. I'm Dominican and this spot is great. Price was fair for the amount of food. Guac was very good. Had the fajita, my husband had the fish and my son had chicken tacos and Everything was good. We had a sampler and everything was great Coming back for sure

I am very excited to have found this place. It is very much a hole in the wall but it is authentic - I knew as soon as I opened the door and the mariachi music was blasting. The waitresses were very friendly but did not take any slack from rowdy customers. As for the food, I had chicken and al pastor tacos and enjoyed both very much. I would recommend using the green hot sauce as well, its very flavorful and very spicy. My girlfriend had the chicken fajitas and came away satisfied. I plan on returning again, its a very authentic and delicious taco place. I can't have too many of those in my life.

This restaurant has been around for about…read moresix years, and I'll admit I had previously dismissed it because it's located in an outer strip of stores where Harmon and Bed Bath & Beyond once were. I truly wish I hadn't--because I was thoroughly impressed with the food, the décor, the service, and the extensive menu. There are so many dishes I want to come back and try. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant impressed us with its vibrant, themed décor and incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Warm tortilla chips with chunky salsa and glasses of water were brought to our table immediately after we sat down, which was a great start. They have a full-service bar, and while they don't offer frozen cocktails, we honestly didn't miss them. I had a coconut margarita, and my husband enjoyed a passionfruit rum cocktail. He doesn't drink tequila, so I asked if rum could be substituted, and they were more than happy to accommodate. He chose a Tajín rim, while I opted for sugar instead of salt. Both drinks were strong, flavorful, and served in really nice, heavy margarita glasses. We both chose specials from the House Special Grill, and wow--what a great decision. My husband had the skirt steak and jumbo shrimp, served with a creamy corn salsa, and he loved every bite. I ordered the grilled steak with sautéed onions, homemade tortillas, cactus pad (nopales), rice, and beans. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. We ended the night on a high note with dessert--one of the best flans I've ever had--paired with a glass of hot Mexican coffee. Absolutely delicious. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming service, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The food is top quality and service is excellent. the restaurant is also quite well decorated for such a miniscule place. The only caveat keeping this review from being five stars is the price. Mexican fare is known for being hearty, large portioned and affordable and having now patronized this establishment twice, I can say it is two of the three. The lofty price tag will unfortunately keep me from becoming a regular. Still, it is a nice treat once in a blue moon. Good show, overall. Fare: 5/5 Price: $$$

However, I'm happy to report that I dined here recently and had a better experience. Since the time of my initial review, La Casa remained in my periphery - mainly because my parents periodically visited and it was a frequent stop of one of my friends who lives in Bronxville. That being said, I was curious to check out La Casa again - and that opportunity came when my mother chose here to celebrate Mother's Day. La Casa is located just off the main commercial strips. The interior is pretty spacious with a bar towards the front of the restaurant and the main dining room split in two sections. The decor is somewhat under-toned with a cool color scheme and tasteful decor. This is in contrast with other Mexican restaurants that tend to go overboard with the kistch and warm colors. I will say the seats look a little tired, they could use some re-upholstering - and were a little lower to the ground than I expected. In addition to the indoor space, they have an outdoor section which was done up very nicely. The brunch menu contained a selection of apps, sides, quesadillas, tacos, and sides. We decided to start by splitting a few apps: brisket and al pastor tacos, a quesadilla, street corn, chips and guac, and more guac with tuna. All the apps were tasty - the biggest standouts for me were the quesadilla and the tacos which were all generously filled and had good flavor. For my main, I got the camarones a la diabla which were shrimp in a red pepper sauce placed atop beans and paired with bok choy. The dish was pretty good - the shrimp could have been a bit snappier, but I appreciate that they de-shelled them and the sauce and beans worked well with them. Dare I say the bok choy was the star of the dish? It had just enough flavor and added a needed green. We opted for dessert, and I got the grilled pineapple which was paired with (per the menu) vanilla ice cream or guanabana sorbet. I wasn't asked to choose, and was served the sorbet. I would have liked to have been given the option, but maybe that's all they had - fwiw the sorbet was good. The pineapple was candied and came as a large, thick ring - definitely needed a knife and fork to cut it up (which they provided); this was a good dish in concept but I think it can be executed better. Service was good, everyone was friendly and efficient. In my experience, service tends to be the weakest component of a meal on a holiday, but they did a great job. Overall, I had a good experience at La Casa. Even though it's not in my backyard, I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself.

Everything felt watery, and while I understand that some locations may cater to people who prefer milder food with more moisture, it just didn't work for me. I had the beef birria. The rice was forgettable, there were a lot of chips, and the drinks were okay. This was just an average spot. I wouldn't come back unless they made some noticeable improvements.
