Why drive to LA for tasty street tacos when this truck is in Huntington Beach!! This place is truly the definition of "hole in the wall." When I first arrived in this lowkey neighborhood they parked at, my first impression of the truck was unassuming. You wouldn't think this place has one of the best tacos in OC, but they do. I got 6 tacos and a gigantic horchata for all but $12. That's $1.50 each taco and $3 for a (32?)oz drink. Where can you even find that in this economy!? But besides being so inexpensive, the food was just BOMB. The tacos remind me so much of authentic tacos you'd get on the side of an LA street. Not sure if it's true, but I saw someone mentioned that they make their own tortillas. If that's true, it shows, the tortilla was so soft and tasty. I had gotten cabeza, lengua, and pastor for my meat. The al pastor was good, wasn't dry, a little sweet and savory, it was lovely. But the star of the show were the lengua and cabeza. They were so so SOFT and JUICY. The salsa they put on top makes the perfect balance of spicy and tanginess to the fat in the meat. Truly, it was all chefs kiss The ladies that I worked there were so so nice. They made sure I got what I wanted, asked about modifications, and when packing my food, they were very thorough. My boyfriend and I were in Huntington Beach for Labor Day weekend and before leaving we searched Apple Maps for a taco truck. This one was the first one that popped up & we went for it seeing that they had 4.5 stars on Yelp! Let me tell you, soooooo good! We happened to go on Taco Tuesday so they had a 5 for $5 special on the tacos! They're regularly $1.50 each which is still super cheap. They were amazing and will definitely be back when in the area! All time favorite taco spot, truck or restaurant. Their red sauce taste very homemade and not bought from the store or from a bottle. Smaller than restaurant tacos but the flavor makes up for it in my opinion. Price is decent, not the cheapest nor the most expensive. They will give pickled onions and jalapeños on the side but sometimes you have to remember to ask. Also ask for limes. Quick service time but can take longer if there is a wait. read more

2/1/2022 searched Yelp for Best Taco Truck and this one came up and was local. Once again, Yelpers are Perfecto in suggesting and reviews! About 2pm found parked in it's Monday to Saturday location, open from 9am till 7pm each day, CLOSED on Sundays according to Omar the owner. He wasn't to busy when I walked up so we were able to talk for a few, what a nice guy he is. Ordered the combo plate, comes with your choice of 3 tacos, rice and beans for $8, and did the can of diet coke for $1, total $9 paid with $10, dollar in the tip jar. Will CERTAINLY return! Pros- All 3 of the tacos I tried were great flavor. Green salsa on the side was perfect for my gringo palate! Beans on side were as good or better than most the places I have been. $8 for the combo plate I feel is very fair, good value. Payments accepted, Cash, Card, and Zelle. Omar such a friendly owner of this truck. Quick hot food. Easy to find on street. A small taco truck on a side street behind the big building. An Amigo introduce this place to me and I use Yelp to locate this place. There was not a lot of meat on the taco but adequate. I had tried lenqua, Al Pastor and carnita tacos. They were good but they were quite frugal on the salsa and gave me only a one oz container of salsa. Tacos were $1.25 each even for lenqua maybe the lowest price you can find. The Horchata and pinapple drink was only $1 for small and $2 for large which was a very good deal. Been coming to this truck for years. Prices went up from $0.60 to $1 as of January 2019. Taco sizes are the same. It use to be the best bang for your buck.
