Honestly at first glance you might second guess it, but the hospitality you receive from the older couple we had is great and professional. Ambiance was normal and the service is regular, but the food for the price isn't honestly bad at all. I had the Asada Fries and it was great along with some tacos Al pastor. The meats are really tender and flavorful, good portions and they have a good variety as well. Went here during my lunch since it was the closest spot, even though I almost left when I arrived, because I thought the taco truck was closed, which it is, but they have an open restaurant inside, and I wish it was made more known. To start off The service was amazing. It seemed family owned a little mom and Pop shop. And the lady and the older gentleman that were there were the sweetest people. Honestly, the food was great. I got the three taco combo My only complaint is that I didn't like the rice, but personally, I'm not a fan of rice with peas but I eat around them, and the rice was still good. The part that made it though was the salsa. They have a great green salsa, and a salsa is what makes her brakes a place, and the fact that they had good food and good salsa I would for sure. I just love this family owned establishment. I always order the same exact meal but changed it up recently with the 3 chicken taco meal and added the grilled jalapeños. I placed my order over the phone and when I arrived (5 minutes) it was ready. The salsa is great. My chicken is always juicy and tender. Just the right amount of cilantro and onions. They are located in the rear of the Arco Am/Pm station. There is seating and a tv. This is my go to spot for my taco fix. read more

My bf and I stumbled upon this place on accident. Soo glad we did! In 9 days we ate there 4 times. We absolutely love it! A bit inconsistent at times. My sopes are loaded one day and lacking the next. Same with my bf's meals. But it's such a sweet little family running the place and we prefer to support the little mom/pops whenever possible. Very authentic nonetheless. We'd buy their green salsa by the gallon if we could. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because we have no idea what we are being charged. There's no prices on the wall anymore so our total for the same things we always get varies every time. Anywhere from $22-$28. I've been charged $2 for a SMALL side of frijoles and $4 for the same thing. Other than the inconsistency of pricing and portions we will continue to support the business. read more

After driving by countless of times on a daily basis...finally decided to stop in on a Friday night. Their business is literally located inside the gas station towards the back. Not too large, too small...I've been in food places a lot smaller. The family is seriously very nice and they give me a homely vibe, especially the mom. On tuesday/friday/saturday/sunday they pop a tent outside of the gas station so you don't have to go into the store and you can kinda get that street eating feeling. The husband or even their kids I believe will work the tent. The mom said sometimes the dad will add an extra day during the week or may not even come out depending on his mood. Lol. We've only had their tacos (street). Street tacos are smaller as they're meant to be one-hand friendly for eating on the streets. I've had the Carne asada and the pollo. Their flavoring is pretty light, in my opinion. But at $1.50 for a taco? Uhhh, tastes good enough to me! Husband has had the tripas and lengua. Not for me, but he too agreed he appreciated the light seasoning. When I went into their actual restaurant I was able to stare at the big menu at the wall. They pretty much offer your standard Mexican menu at a fair price. Kinda thought they are priced along the lower end. It was very clean. If you happen to go in and it seems cluttered in there, it's because those are the equipment they use when they pop their tent outside of the gas station. They had a salsa bar with the limes, carrot and jalapeño mix, and sliced radish. Be aware as they only had the red salsa out. I know they have the green one so if you don't see it, just ask. This will definitely be our new taco spot since it's literally a 2minute drive. I am a hefer for street tacos. cheap and right around the corner, I'm in! However, nothing to drive across town for. 4 stars for value and for the very friendly homely customer service we have received. Certainly worth a try if you live nearby or! I thought this would be the perfect meal since not only was I craving tacos, but that the place wasn't a conventional Taco Bell or Del Taco. Long story short, I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and one al pastor. There was hardly any meat on any of the tacos and the presentation was absolutely sloppy: it's as if a child put two pieces of meat on each taco and smothered it in lettuce. The family run restaurant makes some of the best Mexican home food I've had in Vegas. The carne asada tacos are very tasty and recommendable. The salsa they have is mouth watering, it's that type of spicy that will get your nose running but you'll be wanting more. The chips on the nachos were light and crisp so that made all the other filling on top even more tasty. There are several different meats you can choose from with the tacos. I got the fish, carne asada and chicken filling I think. Like I mentioned before, I ate my food so fast because it was delicious. Will return again. The restaurant is inside the AM/PM. I gottah say, this hurts my heart that I have to do this because I loveee their tacos. I went in tonight and ordered a combo like I always do. As I'm waiting for my food, I happen to look over and noticed a big tub of rice. I said no to myself, then I took a picture just to zoom in a little closer and see. I looked up the word that was labeled on the tub and I was right. This tub was not covered at all and had the date 5/23/18 on there. I got my food and got out of there. I got home and didn't even want to touch the food because that just makes me think of what else are they doing that's not sanitary. Wasted my money because I was craving those tacos. I work in the hospitality industry myself and I know for a fact that's not how you properly store food. It definitely made my stomach turn and don't want to go back.
