Came to Lalo's Mexican Grill around brunch time and had a great experience. Right away, we noticed the restaurant was clean, the cashier was bilingual, and the customer service was excellent. The menu has a great selection at very reasonable prices, and it was nice to see that they even offer daily specials. On Sundays, they serve pozole and menudo, which is always a plus. We ordered the carne asada fries and let me tell you, they were hands down the best we've had here in Las Vegas. The carne asada was incredibly flavorful with no gristle at all. The shoestring fries were perfectly crispy, the refried beans were excellent, and the guacamole had a slight heat that paired amazingly with the pico de gallo and the extra cheese. Everything worked so well together. We also ordered a carnitas burrito, which was good overall, but I did wish the carnitas were a bit crispier and that there was a little more cheese. The salsas included salsa verde and salsa roja. Both had heat, but they were a bit watered down. The roja lacked flavor, while the verde had a slight flavor along with the heat. Despite the minor salsa and carnitas notes, everything else was delicious, and the overall experience was great. We will definitely be back! read more

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime. Since I was in the area, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Machaca burrito which was loaded with meat and flavor. There was no rice to be seen no beans to be found. I got the #12-Chile relleno & Cheese Enchilada plate for my wife. She loved it. I also got the three street taco plate which was amazing. My only complaint ( and not a major one, but worth mentioning) is that I wish I could get three different types of meat for the street tacos but when you order that plate, you have to get the same meat for all three tacos. They have a vast menu where you will likely find something you will enjoy eating. I will definitely be back. read more

LaLo's is a mom n pop family spot that rivals Roberto's. The quality of the food is comparable to Roberto's. Prices are cheaper tho. The Tuesday Taco Specials has a way better chicken taco than Roberto's does. Food comes out quickly and efficiently. No issues with the service or the friendly employees. That's what Roberto's total lacks, is costumer service and efficiency. I give it 4 stars cause it gives me the quick mexican fast food fix without the Roberto's disappointment. read more

Second time I've been here now and the food is just SO GOOD. Don't go to the other place with a "R" down Rancho- GO HERE I got the carne asada fries and they PILE on the steak! I met someone here because a nearby restaurant was closed. I just got a bottle of water because I want hungry. The dining table area is spacious. The bathroom was immaculately clean! Very impressed. Lalo's Mexican Grill provides some worthy taco shop competition in this area. Enjoyed the California burrito with beans and rice as a reasonably priced order to go. All were tasty and while I certainly would like to try something else, I will probably have to stick to the CA burrito on my next go around. The rice, which is part of the combo plates or available as a side dish, gets special mention for the unique recipe that separates it out from other establishments. I unfortunately ordered a delivery order on Grub Hub. I ordered the fried rolled tacos with guacamole and a chicken taco. The food tasted very good but it arrived cold which is a rare occurrence for Grub Hub but I suppose it will happen so I can't hold that against Lalo's. The chicken taco was good filled to the gills thigh a little greasy. I would hope it wouldn't be greasy if you ate fresh. The rolled tacos were the same. Large topped with a generous amount of cheese and guacamole. I gave it 4 stars because I would have expected salsa to be offered and the guacamole should be served on the side and not on to. Mood - Chilaquiles Upon entering we were greeted with friendly service. This place was fairly new with opening so they were still getting the menu ect worked out. The menu included their grand opening specials. You order at the front counter, pay, find seating, and wait for your order to be called. We opted for the 2 Chilaquiles specials, comes with arroz, frijoles, and a drink. Couldnt beat that. Included their Agua Frescas. I was shocked by this as I am on this Horchata kick lately. Everything was well prepared and the portions were very generous. However my highlight honestly was that Horchata. It was perfect. Not to sweet, just right. Interior needed cleaning, but the staff was very busy. However everyone had on their masks and gloves to ensure safety to their patrons. There are several seating arrangements. Music was playing in the background. Would recommend - pricing beyond reasonable. Portions are very generous, we couldnt finish so we took it home. This spot was a pleasant surprise! Lalo's recently opened in a former Del Taco, complete with drive thru- and apparently they're open 24/7. I would liken them to Roberto's with a similar menu but better quality. They have several Grand Opening promo signs up in the area, and one that caught my eye hyped their $4 breakfast burritos so that was my first pick (with sausage)- it's a hefty size and a good value, made fresh and stuffed with eggs, hashbrowns, and cheese. It was somewhat on the plain side but that is easily amended with their red or green salsa. Went by again the following weekend, as they have pozole and menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. The pozole is a huge portion at $8 and packed with cilantro, onions, and tortillas on the side. The broth is greasy but that's somewhat to be expected. Meat was tender, proportionate amount to the broth, overall good flavor- better than expected for the location! A note about the service though. We went by on a weekday for dinner and both the inside and drive-thru were incredibly backed up. As we waited to place our order, not one but two customers came to complain that they got the wrong food. So come patient or delay your visit as they still have kinks to work out. We were probably bound to be be regulars due to the convenient location, but the quality and value make it worth recommending. read more

Disappointed. Mostly with the service. The food wasn't bad but was ruined by the service. We are a party of 3. I ordered the number 1. The cheese enchilada consisted of a rolled tortilla with cold shredded cheese that was not melted. Smothered in sauce. Back story: we are Latino, my son and his girlfriend do not speak Spanish, we experienced the worst kind of racism. From our own kind. My son's girlfriend is allergic to onions and asked for her torta to be without guacamole and pico to avoid the onion. He torta had pico. When it was brought to the owners attention he was rude and combative however he did remake her torta, we showed him the unmelted cold enchilada and he said that is how it is made, as if saying these white washed latinos dont know any better. What he didn't know I'm fully bilingual. The beans rice and chicken taco was fabulous but that mean spirited act of purposefully serving a cold enchilada was just childish. In what culture is an enchilada served cold and cheese not melted. Too bad, I'm a huge supporter of small local businesses. Not this one. read more

The torta was good , meat was well seasoned, there was meat in all of the torta, the meat and lettuce were finely chopped. It also had avocado and pico de gallo.
