We called to check if there would be a wait because the original restaurant we wanted to go to had a 45 minute weight less than a mile away. She said there was no waiting so we came on in. When we entered, there was one other table seated in the rest was empty. Menus were promptly brought, and our drink orders were taken. We ordered chips and salsa and guacamole and the bean dip. We also ordered queso birria tacos, Kearny Asada, fries, and a couple of Birria tacos. The best part of the entire meal was a guacamole, and House made salsa. These had a good flavor and everybody liked them. It was all downhill after that. The Carne Asada fries had the amount of meat that you might expect to find in a taco. The taste was good, but it was way over priced for a large plate of fries, with a dusting of meat, a sprinkle of cheese and a light drizzle of sauce. read more

Our go to Mexican Restaurant was fully booked so decided to try out Tacos Sin Fronteras near our home. It is located in a small shopping center. Once inside, a little dark, music quietly played in the background. Staff were welcoming and sat us down right away. We ordered Birria Burrito, Quesobirria Tacos, side salad and Aguas Frescas. The Jamaica, Horchata and Pina were refreshing. Side salad was delicious. Light and flavorful with finely chopped salad, garbanzo beans, cheese, and avocado. This time though, I had a chance to go inside Sin Fronteras Tacos and eat there! I was in the mood for some tacos. There are two different Sin Fronteras Tacos locations, both in Northwest Las Vegas! One of the standout features of Sin Fronteras Tacos is their menu variety. The menu has taco patters, burritos, loaded fries, enchiladas, and so much more! There are daily specials with Happy Hour every day from 2:00 P.M to 6:00 P.M, except on Sunday where Happy Hour is all day long! On Tuesday, there is Taco Tuesday! You'll want to check their website for the most up to date specials! My husband and I ended up getting a lot of Tacos. [3] Carne Asada [3] Al Pastor [3] Carnitas My favorite street tacos were the Al Pastor. It was so flavorful! The Cane Asada and the Carnitas was good, but the Al Pastor was my favorite! All of the meat was tender and juicy! I ended up eating two out of the three tacos for the Al Pastor! The service was quick here and the team members were friendly! I think the next time I come back here, I'll have to get an order of their chicken fajitas and some of their chips/guac to eat at the restaurant! What an amazing hidden gem. I have had them on my list for months and finally decided to give it a try today and I'm sad that I didn't come sooner!! The moment you walk in the decor is so lovely and beautiful and the staff are all so welcoming. It's pretty large in here and they have table and booth seating. Our server was Miguel and also a lady who's brother and husband own this spot and they were both absolutely amazing!! We started with the queso fundido and when it was first brought out there wasn't much cheese on it and they immediately took it back and brought it back out with the perfect amount of cheese (as shown in photos) I opted for the cheese enchiladas with red sauce, usually I go for green sauce but they said theirs is prepared with jalapeños so it's spicier than usual!! (I am a baby and cannot handle spice LOL) but the plating of the enchiladas was absolutely beautiful and everything had such a burst of flavor. The enchiladas probably had the best cheese in it that I've had in a looong time here in Vegas. The salsa was perfect as well. I ordered food for my dad to go that has certain dietary restrictions and they were so kind and helpful to make him something that will be good for him to eat and I cannot say how special that was for me. I have to admit I was torn on my star rating on this spot. Walking in the feeling was all good. Comfortable booth for the four of us. Lots of cool stuff on the walls. Had to pay for chips and salsa. OK. Add a bit to the bill for the diavlo salsa. I like it hot. The house salsa was good. The diavllo was decent with the chips but better with my crunchy taco plate. Leading into the food . Very tasty. I tried a bit of everyone's plate and vice versa. I won with my crunchy taco plate. Service was a bit slow with my wife getting up twice to get the servers attention. This plus the standard bag of chips, not even warm knocked it a bit. I will be back. read more

My husband and I love this place! Believe it or not my husband gets the burger every time. You probably wouldn't think to get a burger at a Mexican place but let me tell you it's one of his favorites and he's a burger connoisseur! It comes with a barbecue sauce with fajita style cooked onions mixed in it which he gets on the side not because it's not good but he just doesn't really care for much sauce. Sometimes he doesn't get it at all because the quality of the burger patty is so good you don't even need it. He got the Cotija french fries which I always snag a few of, and there's never any left on the plate. I always get Carne Asada burrito and every time it is cooked seasoned and prepared to perfection. Definitely enjoy our food to go, which is how we always get it every time. If you want super fresh, good quality, Mexican style food or a surprisingly delicious burger. This is your spot. read more

Went here last night for some take out and I was impressed! I ordered the birria burrito, taquitos, and super nachos with asada. We got two margaritas while we waited for our food to be ready. The margaritas came out quick and our food followed shortly behind. The prices were pretty decent, it was only $58 for all of our items. My only complaint is I ordered my burrito chimmi style and they forgot to add the sauce :( We had already got home before I noticed so I didn't get to enjoy the extra calories (lol). The service was prompt & a great choice if you're craving something other than burgers or pizza - convenience is the 711 & gas station. So maybe if there are no other choices worth a try. read more

I want to give them a higher review, but we did not get utensils, napkins, and we only saw a waiter a couple of times. The food here was great. We got chicken and shrimp fajitas. I loved the sauce that was on the side as well as on the meat. I think that the serving size was perfect. Normally, when you go to other restaurants, they give you a heaping pile of food. Sin Fronteras does not do that. I loved the rice and the beans. The rice here in Vegas is always better than the rice in Idaho, but the beans? They were perfect; they were not salty. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Even though the waiter was scarce, he was very nice and made a pretty good suggestion, but I went with the fajitas. I loved the music. This place has high reviews so I had to see the hype. I ordered 3 tacos which came with beans and rice. I ordered the 3 taco combo and went with tinga, adobada, and asada. The meal came with a green salsa which was tasty. It was not spicy and I didn't ask if they had anything spicier. The tinga was a little overcooked so the chicken was a bit tough but the flavor was ok. I was not a fan of the adobada and the asada was also just ok. The rice was good and the beans were alright. I am always looking for decent Mexican food in the Northwest. A handful of people recommended Sin Fronteras and it did not disappoint. Sin Fronteras is located in a strip mall with a gas station and a handful of random shops with plenty of parking. There is no hostess booth upon entering. You go to the counter and ask for a seat. When we arrived we were told we could sit anywhere. It is super casual. You can pick up food to go at the counter or the wait staff will come to you once you have been seated. They serve margaritas in the cutest jam jars and we found the food prices to be extremely reasonable. The servings are plenty, though they do not give you ginormous portions, which was fine with us. I judge every place by their cheese enchiladas and Sin Fronteras passed the vibe check. The portion size was perfect. Flavors were fully represented. They did not drown everything in cheese or sauce. You can tell everything is home made. My husband ordered the carne asada burrito. Again - the portions are not huge but they are big enough. He enjoyed his burrito and had to take half to go. I look forward to returning and trying more of the menu offerings. They have a sweet looking taco Tuesday deal where you get a ton of tacos for cheap. read more

Idk what happened. I saw the 4 1/2 stars and came here after a long day of playing golf nearby and everything was gross. Everything was literally so basic. The beans were hard. We visited on Friday for lunch with a party of three and it was a nice experience. We were seated right away in a booth and drink orders were taken. Their margaritas are quite good. We started with the Chips & Salsa (which are not free) and Guac. The chips were a little thicker than normal, but the Guac and Salsa were good. From there we had the Diablo Shrimp (extra spicy), the Garlic Shrimp, and the Cheese Enchiladas. All the entrees were well prepared and tasty, the Diablo Shrimp had a kick. The service was good, but the waitress tended to not clear dirty dishes promptly. They were stacked up by the time we paid the bill. Overall, a good place to get a Mexican meal. read more

I've been to this business, but it's been a long time since I've eaten here. We only stopped for a quick bite and I shared some tacos and rice and beans with my roommate who wanted a quick snack. The tacos were good and I must tell you, the beans were out of this world! The refried beans were so fresh and reminded me of another dear friend and the excellent beans that she made. This is a nice restaurant tucked away in a strip mall with a calm environment and a lot of people seem to be coming in to get takeout. It was a nice spring day and after watching a family movie at nearby Santa Fe Casino, I really wanted to stay away from the resort eateries, and finally convinced the family to go on a side quest to a much more authentic spot. This place is run by family, it's family owned and loved. On a Saturday night, it wasn't too busy, but clearly it's a local spot that means a lot to the neighborhood. I had the asada taco plate, which was excellent al around, with even silky smooth arroz. The kids loved the chips and guacamole, and the shrimp ceviche was something I want to highlight. This place is great, ambience was relaxed, it's family friendly, there is plenty to choose from for all tastes as long as you know this is fairly authentic Northern Mexican.
