Let me start with.. I love taco and burrito trucks! I go out of my way for it! Tacos el Tule was at Beach Cat - south paw on a Monday. I got 2 Tule Burritos with Asada, a soft taco, and a hard taco. Flavor was decent, but there was hardly any meat. Lots of filler in the burrito, but honestly.. if I wanted a veggie burrito I would have ordered it. Customer service was meh, and they charge a dollar more for using a card vs cash. Plus side.. I was able to get enough salsa for my burrito I will definitely give it another try, and hope for the best the next time around . read more

Came by for some lunch today because I had heard good things about Tacos el Tule. You've gotta love taco trucks! I do! And my experience here was great. But I want to share with you an aspect of it that made me think a little bit. I got the Steak Tacos Tule and they were really different. They were not bad AT ALL, but I loved the way they did it. They served it with a lime sauce that was really tangy and delicious, and avocado and pico de gallo. There are vegetarian options as well (though i'm not sure about vegan); the veggie burrito is like holding a small brick, and they're generous with the avocado. I can't even think of another place in Bellingham where you can fill your stomach for $5. (A large chicken tortilla soup is 2-3 meals for me). Sometimes there's a short line, but i've never waited more than five minutes, and the family who runs it are friendly, courteous, and always remember me.
