This restaurant has very delicious food. We ordered shrimp tacos, shrimp campechana, agua chile tostada, shrimp tostada, fish tostada, and ceviche tostadas de jaiva and camarón. All of the dishes were a good size portion and very flavor full. I did not give the extra star because the restaurant floor and some tables were very dirty. Additionally the restroom was absolutely DISGUSTING! They had more than 5 workers working, therefore someone should have been cleaning. Fish tacos on taco Tuesdays are pretty good. One star is for their customer service. They don't even deserve one star. They are rude. I am a regular customer, especially on tuesdays and I don't just buy 3 tacos. I buy 15-30 tacos for myself and my husband's family. And they only give me 2 sauces on the side and when I asked for more, they tell me it's gonna be $0.25 extra for each sauce. Are you kidding me? 2 sauces for 30 fish tacos. First, the parking is plenty if you can get to it. You can either park behind it or next door at Alfredo's and walk over. I order a two fish taco combo ( two fish tacos, rice, beans and soda) and one shrimp taco. The fish tacos were amazing. It brought me back to the days when I use to go Ensenada with my grandmother. I am not one to leave a bad review unless the restaurant earns one and they did. Went last night for shrimp tacos and yeah they took long time but I don't mind that. My food was expensive for what I received. My shrimp tacos where so small and the shrimp itself was the small size not even medium. I thought from the pictures that we had got taken for our money, unless they ran out of the shrimp. I would have appreciated if they told us I would have gotten the fish I also received two extremely dry flavorless cups of 3 ceviche mixes. I was really disappointed since I was going to go to my favorite spot in irwindale but thought I would try something new. Probably the only thing good was my nephews burrito but he was so hungry I'm not sure he cared. Please don't waste your money on these tacos. If I could give them 0 stars I would!!! I've been to other locations and never had a problem! Both Monrovia and Seirra Madre and there great locations! But the El Monte location is horrible! I went back when they opened and they messed up my whole order and I get it it's a new location it happens! So I went back and they gave me so much problems to fix it the girls in the front are so damn rude! So I never went again! Well today I tried doing an online ordered and placed it and I got a call saying when I go to pick up I am gonna be charged $2 per taco instead of .99c when it clearly says 99c online! And the girl who called me was such a rude bitch!!! Never again will I even try to come to this location! It sucks don't waste your money or time!!! Their seafood is on point! The best things here is anything seafood. Can't go wrong with their Fish tacos, and their shrimp cocktail. They give u a big piece of fish in the tacos, batter is nice, lots of crema and cabbage. The Cocktail has a delicious flavor and has a lot of big shrimps inside. The prices are VERY affordable for what your get, so VALUE is a main factor here. I've dined in before this COVID-19 stuff and have also done to go orders. The food took a while to be ready. Another lady cleaning (and singing lol) was very nice and attended well. Food: my fish taco was cold and soggy. Shrimp ceviche tostada was bland and shrimp was chewy. The amount of ceviche was questionable with one soggy tostada. The Chile, onion, lime bar looked messy and unattended. And best of all, the burrito did not contain beans which I enjoy because that tends to mellow out the flavors of everything else. There was about two people ahead of us but we were able to order fairly quickly. Service was good and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. We had time to wash up, find a table and get situated.
