Last night we decided to try something new for Taco Tuesday and checked out Coyote Taqueria, loved…read morethe fast casual vibe of the restaurant, the staff were so friendly and accommodating! We let them know it was our first time and they walked us through what to expect, you order at the counter then head to the other side of the restaurant to the kitchen area where they call out your ticket number, but what I loved about it most was that when they called your ticket number you were able to customize your tacos right there, made to order. The restaurant was so busy and I can confidently tell you it was because the food was OUTSTANDING! My family ordered tacos, Adobada, Carne, Birria were all fresh and amazing, we also ordered Carne Fries for an appetizer and they were delicious, the perfect mix of crunchy fries and fresh toppings. From the cooks in the kitchen to the sweet girls working the register the staff was amazing. Love this place! Definitely give them a try if you are in the area! We can't wait to go back. Ps no photos because we were drooling over the food and couldn't wait to eat!

Most taquerias don't serve buche, so our little hearts were overjoyed to find one that does. This spot feels cozy and very inviting from the décor to their wide variety of agua frescas. My favorite is the pepino con limón with chia seeds, and I can't wait to try more! They have a taco happy hour on Taco Tuesday: most tacos are $1.99, with the exception of buche, tripa, and cabeza, which are regular price. Their fries are so yummy! We're big fans of the asada fries, but recently we've become hooked on the adovada fries simply scrumptious. In just one week, we went back three times (check my check-ins, lol). The staff who cook and prep the meats are incredibly kind and friendly. The cashiers, however, could use a little work they sometimes have a sour demeanor, which is a bit off-putting. This place can get busy, and it can get a little messy during the rush, but overall it's well-maintained. Note: Their bottled beverages are expensive $4.99 for a Jarritos. You're better off getting a large agua fresca for the same price and more beverage. parking is limited because of all the other shopping centers there so you may have to park far.

From the moment I walked in, Sal took my order and absolutely nailed customer service. He was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. You can tell he actually cares about the customers, which is rare these days. The food was just as impressive fresh, flavorful, and made exactly how I wanted. Everything came out quickly, and you can taste the quality in every bite. But honestly, what made this visit stand out was Sal. Great food will bring you in, but outstanding service like that is what keeps people coming back. Highly recommend Michi Tacos if you're in Menifee ask for Sal, you won't be disappointed.

We ended up getting our meal relatively like maybe 15 minutes after we placed it and at firsthand the meal was good. The tacos were tasty. The burrito was just OK and their beers were fine. I don't want to say it. It's a tad bit overpriced they do have a feel like they are aspiring to be Kalaveras, but they're not necessarily Kalaveras and so you could tell people come here mainly for the atmosphere. I would check out another place just because it's overpriced for the food that you get being that it's in Menifee. I think overall what we paid for the pictures here it was $65. There's plenty of parking as it's in a shopping center.

Another Wednesday deal is their OG fish tacos for $2.59 each, also before tax. We split the Beach Box, so each of us had about three tacos with fries. I do want to be honest though--I have celiac disease, which means I cannot have gluten. I haven't had gluten since I was diagnosed about a year ago, but this time I gave in. Seeing everyone else eating made it really hard to resist. I know it wasn't the best decision, but I ended up having some anyway. That said, if you're celiac like me, I wouldn't recommend this place. They do offer some options like mariscos, and you can replace flour tortillas with corn, but keep in mind there is always a chance of cross-contamination. It's definitely an "at your own risk" situation. I will say, when I came before and told them I have celiac disease while ordering their tacos, they did try to accommodate me as best as they could. It wasn't busy at the time, and they offered to clean the area and take extra precautions to avoid cross-contamination, which I found very thoughtful. But like I said, there's always a chance, so it's still at your own risk. As for the food itself, everything was very flavorful. The fish was crispy, well-seasoned, and tasted fresh. The fries were good, and the portions were solid. The salsa bar is self-serve and has bold, spicy flavors. If you like a lot of salsa with your tacos, you'll enjoy it. Customer service was great. We were greeted right away and given helpful recommendations. The restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe, with a really pretty mural inside. It does get busy, so expect a bit of a wait, but the food is worth it. They also have specials throughout the week, like potato tacos on Thursdays and Tijuana-style tacos on Tuesdays, which I've had before and really liked. Those are made with corn tortillas, but again, if you're celiac, just be mindful of cross-contamination. Overall, the food and experience were great. Just be cautious if you have dietary restrictions like I do.
