First where else can you get a decent breakfast with a drink for under $5. Second, they have the best chorizo tacos in town. I'll admit the sertvice can be spotty but who cares at these prices. Also, the employees are as friendly as can be. Try the mexican burger, the fajitas, and the stuffed corn tortilla pockets (i forgot the real name). Sit out on the patio, read a newspaper and enjoy. Did i mention that they fresh squeeze their own orange juice. If you are the stuffy type and don't like quirky joints, go eat at IHOP. The charro beans are delicious and give this spot bonus points in my book. Queso flameado is also consistently good (but hot cheese and chorizo is pretty hard to screw up). Tacos are hit or miss - the fajita meat is often too chewy. If I stick with ground beef tacos, then I leave pretty happy. read more

Taco Flores is an amazing family owned restaurant. The food is top notch with amazing service. Jesse the son of the owner treated us a big party as family and kept us satisfied. Jesse was so attentive and kind to us. The fajita's, street tacos, and chips and salsa were delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the restaurant which is clean and opened. The food is great. I am from Los Angeles and it's really hard to find comparable Mexican cuisine. The staff are nice and friendly. Orders are completed correctly. First, let me say I rarely give bad reviews, I just usually don't return after I receive substandard food. However, I am writing this review in hopes that someone will listen and correct the problems. I have eaten here many times before for breakfast and a few times for lunch take-out and have been pleased with the food. The service has always been slow, but I am forgiving if the food is good. I ordered a fajita special yesterday evening for four as a takeout. All of the meats were under-seasoned and flavorless. The beef was tough and sliced with the grain which makes it impossible to eat. My wife almost choked on it. The sausage was very fatty and tasted really cheap. One step above grilled hot dogs. The flameado quest was not edible as it was a cold chunk of cheese. I even tried to heat it back up but it would only clump. The regular quest was ok but the chips were not fresh. They tasted stale and were not crispy. Only the tortillas, charro beans, and salsa were edible. It was basically $60 wasted. I hope it was just a bad evening and the management can correct these problems and get back to providing good food again... read more

This place is close to home but I had never stopped by...finally went for dinner and my family and I really enjoyed it. The food is very authentic, I wish there was a little more variety though. I heard they have menudo and posole on the weekends so I'll have to try that soon. I also heard that they are very popular for breakfast so I will give that a try next time as well. read more

I ordered the enchiladas and they just weren't very good. They were bland and over cooked. The service was walk up to the counter, and I felt like I got a bit of a cold shoulder. the lady wasn't able to answer any of my questions. just a vacant stair and a half smile. Food is GREAT. The problem is the guy at the counter cannot get your order correct if there is any deviation from the menu or if it is a large order. He must have no short term memory or thinks it's funny to jack up someone's food order. Every time I have been there someone in line has a screwed up order also. No one understood English so our order was not right, I have been to many Hispanic establishments for some pretty awesome food but only because I got what I wanted to eat and the person taking my order understood what I wanted, it was a point and guess game to order and still was not what we wanted. If someone wants to order here be fluent in Spanish before heading over to Taco Flores, the food was sub par but maybe because I didn't get the right meal, I would not know if what I ordered would have been good. read more

Horrible experience at this place especially since I was pretty excited to try it. Ended up waiting over 30 mins for two tacos that never came. It wasn't until I asked two different cashier/food runners what was going on that I found out they had lost my order. This wasn't before they watched me stand in front of the counter, order number in hand, for over 30 minutes. I can understand a backed up kitchen or even slower than usual service, but these people were just incompetent. My kid was crying so I left with no tacos in hand. Double whammy. Wow, what a treat! I've driven by this place many times, but boy I'm glad I stopped! Traditional pork tacos with cilantro, onions and hot sauce are perfect.
