I can't leave a positive review because the menudo and pozole were both very disappointing. Unfortunately, the menudo did not seem to have been cleaned properly. The taste was unpleasant, and after the very first bite I knew I couldn't continue eating it. The pozole was just as disappointing. I would recommend asking for a sample before purchasing these items, if possible. I also hope the restaurant regularly tastes and evaluates these dishes before serving them to customers. In my opinion, these two menu items were not worth the money and need significant improvement before I would consider ordering them again. read more

This is hands down my favorite taco truck in Hesperia! My wife and I absolutely love their fresh fries, burritos, and of course, the tacos. We make it a point to stop by at least once a week because the food is always amazing. Their burritos are huge--so big we can never finish them! I still remember the first time I tried one; I couldn't stop eating and ended up in the happiest food coma. Their salsa is incredible too--we always save the leftovers for breakfast with eggs, and it's perfect. I did try their restaurant once and had a less-than-great experience. There was a mix-up with my order (I asked for two fresh fries and one burrito, but got charged for loaded fries instead). They refunded part of it, but not all, and I felt a little awkward asking for the difference back. There seemed to be a slight language barrier, and to top it off, we didn't get the salsa we requested. Maybe it was just an off day, but I haven't gone back to the restaurant since. Would I come back to the restaurant? Probably if wife and I were craving their food on Mon-Weds, but come Thursdays we'll be at the food truck. read more

The rice and beans were undercooked, the carne asada was very fatty, and the al pastor tasted store-bought. Nothing tasted fresh or authentic, and the food felt rushed. I remember when we first moved to Hesperia 4 years ago our first spot to try tacos was La madrina and They were good. We decided to go last night and it was a very long time that we had not gone and it was the worst mistake. it was absolutely garbage. I can't believe they are serving food like this. The meat looked like it was ground beef all smashed NO flavor at all. What happened to them and they opened a restaurant. HOW? Makes no sense. We ordered tacos,nachos and 2 burritos so gross . The nachos were all mushy no crunch at all. The burritos were flavorless and my tacos were literally ground beef. Never ever going back. $63 dollars down the drain. read more

Tacos de Buche were good. Chorizo lacked some flavor. Al pastor left more to desire. Tacos de birria were dry but the quesabirrias were better. Unfortunately, once I got home, I realized my order was missing 3 tacos and an asada burrito. When I got there, it seems like the manager lady took over my dilemma but lacked good customer service. She wanted to overcharge me and when I corrected her she rudely explained that the young man whom took my order had repeated my order. I explained to her that it was impossible to hear the young man because of how loud the music was blasting. To which she replied that next time I needed to tell them to lower down the music if I can't hear them then. Then she proceeded to practically toss the food at me. Love this place! Their food is always consistently delicious! Whether it's their Taco truck/Lonchera, or their new brick & mortar restaurant. Not only do they have the best tacos, vampiros, quessabirrias, you name it, in the HD, but they're always extremely kind & personable. Even their aguas frescas are great!!! Their agua de piña I tried tonight for the first time & it was so refreshing, tasted exactly as I'd hope, their Horchata is always a hit too. You can tell everything they make is made fresh with lots of love and extra flavor. Their Horchata tastes legit, I'm pretty sure its made with actual milk, not just rice & water added to a pre-mix like most places. This place has never let us down. If you're lookig for some bomb food, this is the place. We're all the way in Apple Valley, & this place has always been worth the drive. I wish them all the success, they definitely deserve it. It is nice to see that the San Bernardino county has given food trucks the ability to sell in the high desert. Their tacos were good but not worth the hour wait to get them. I got two al pastor tacos and one chorizo. The al pastor meat had good flavor but was dry. The chorizo was okay. They lost a star for the wait time and another one for their inability to have cilantro and onions separately available. I find it unforgivable for a taco shop not to have both items separated. A taco without cilantro or onion is not a taco. Last but not least, their chopped onions are cut way too big. The size of the onions needs to be proportionate to the taco bite. read more

I've lived in the High desert for 8 years now . And I have finally found The Best Tacos here !! And I'm not bragging but I moved here from LA. Yesterday my family and I ordered al pastor tacos, the tripa tacos and buche were the BEST !!! The guy at the register asked how we wanted the meat , like just soft or a little more cooked . We like our tripa and buche tacos a little crunchy . The salsas are delicious , they don't add water to the salsas . Meat amount on each taco is perfect for the price you pay for it. We got a burrito de buche and a torta the torta was ehhh like alright but maybe some beans and queso fresco in it , a little more meat . We ordered a big horchata . You can taste the canela right amount of sugar . We ordered champurrados for the kids . I wished it could be a little more , because it was $4 . I would just suggest putting the limones and cucumbers in different bags .We got our tacos to go tasted delicious . I don't have pictures because it was late already and we got home a straight up ate the delicious tacos . I'm beyond pleased to have finally found Delicious tacos .
