They don't know they they're getting them in so unless you're ordering a ton, they can't put that in your order. The standouts were the pork ribs and the tri tip. I sat there for a good 5+ minutes before anyone even came over to take my order. A couple minutes after that, a party of 6 came in and they were promptly served chips and salsa, while I'm sitting there still waiting for chips and salsa. When I finished my drink, no one came over to ask if i wanted a refill, so I finally had to stop a server and ask for a refill. You need to give the single diners a little attention too, especially as many of us are locals and like supporting the local businesses. Not sure I'll be back again.

We requested a family style meal and it was such a comforting and special meal. I was staying in the area with an A-list celebrity family and they absolutely loved everything made. We had about 20 people to feed. Several months later I hired Merchain to cater my private party of about 15 people in Los Angeles, and everyone was so pleased. The food was fresh, light as we requested and his roasted marshmallow ice cream bar is out of this world. Merchain (Jon) is clearly a passionate cook and I look forward to checking out his spot in Palm Springs and hiring him for even more private events in future.
