We had an amazing experience! The place was super clean and the ambiance was welcoming! We ordered the shrimp and octopus cocktail along with the beef street tacos, and everything was absolutely delicious. I grew up eating seafood, so I'm pretty picky when it comes to authentic flavors, and this place truly delivered. The seafood tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentic, honestly some of the best I've had in a long time. The food took about 10 minutes to come out, but it was completely worth the wait. Everything arrived fresh and perfectly prepared. A special shoutout to Bri, our server! She was incredible, constantly multitasking, helping multiple tables, and still managed to provide excellent service with a great attitude. She definitely needs a raise! We ordered food to go. We were told 10 to 15 minutes to get our food. After 20 minutes, we were told there was a problem in the kitchen and that it would take another 10 minutes. After waiting for our food for about 40 minutes in an empty restaurant, the food was awful. We ordered 2 plates, crispy beef tacos and beef enchiladas. I paid $16 for soggy tortillas and burnt meat. I paid $18 for tasteless enchiladas that needed some cheese. I don't mind paying money for good food, but this was not good food. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen or the staff, but this was bad food and bad service. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not go there again! The last time I ate here was about 3 years ago and it was not a good experience. Went there tonight for Taco Tuesday and unfortunately didn't have a good experience either. We asked for the Taco Tuesday special and the waitress was surprised that we were not given a menu. Not a good start. The chips were fine but the salsa was not eatable because it tasted burned. When we got the tacos served the meat was cold and if it was served warmer perhaps it could have been a tasty meal. Our dinners were very good. The chicken mole had a great flavor. I am lowering the rating because the margaritas were very poor. I question whether there was any tequila at all in the margaritas. We are sensitive to alcohol and can tell there was very little if any in the drinks. When you pay for an alcoholic drink you expect there to be alcohol in it. Los Arcos is BOMB Mexican food in La Quinta. It's causal and a family like environment that it's comfortable for all ages. They have a small outdoor patio but being in a shopping center not much of an atmosphere outside, so I'd definitely recommend sitting inside which was really nice for us to have a girls dinner. Restaurant is spacious enough with tables and booths throughout. Not too big though that you'd get overlooked or anything, the service was consistent and we had plenty of check ins. The service was very good here and everyone was super friendly. While we had a consistent and nice waitress, we were checked up on by multiple people, it was really nice how everyone works together to make sure the customer has a great experience. Nice people work here and they deserve your business. The margaritas are a 10/10 here! I had a raspberry margarita here and it was honestly one of the best margaritas I've had in a very long time! When I asked the waitress for more she took about 15min to bring me the side, by then I was done with my food. The chilaquiles verdes salsa tasted rancid . The taquitos were your average taquitos, did not taste homemade . This place is your average Mexican American food , not authentic. Solid Mexican food. We were staying in the LQ Cove and ordered deliver through Grubhub twice. The first night I had the Chili Relleno combo with a cheese enchilada (my go-to). The Chili Relleno was one of the better ones I've had - nice egg batter (light and fluffy) with plenty of cheese filling. The enchilada was good too, but the stand out was the red sauce it was served in. Extremely tasty. He had the Tampiquena, a carne asada steak topped with a cheese enchilada, and he really liked it. The 2nd meal I had the combo again (that good) and he had a combo of 2 crispy chicken tacos and a pork tamale, which he really liked again. The order came promptly, and we will order from here again. Our first visit to Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant was a five star experience. The restaurant is located in a strip style mall with plenty of parking. The interior is cozy and well-decorated. We ordered the Fajita Trio and shared it. The item included beef, chicken, shrimp, and grilled peppers and onions. Our waiter, Jesus, brought the entree to our table, and it was still cooking on the hot plate. Everything was delicious. The entree also came with rice, beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, and three tortillas. There is also an option if you share this entree. You can order an additional "Fajita Set-Up" which includes the rice, beans, pico de gallo, and guacamole. The cost for the separate "Fajita Set-Up" was $6.00. We really appreciated the reasonable prices for the food we received...excellent value. Regarding Jesus, he was excellent. We never had to request a drink refill, and he checked in with us regularly. Visited this restaurant during a 'family visiting' vacation. Place is clean and organized with plenty of seating. Had a large party (11 people). Service was excellent and the food was hot, fresh and good portion sizes. Minus one star for the following two reasons: 1) Drinks were a bit more expensive than other restaurants around the area 2) Did not realize the tip was automatically added to the bill (20%) due to a 'Large Party'. I added 25% on top of the 20% so someone enjoyed a hefty tip, but this was a learning experience to review the bill prior to paying. read more

Location: Is still excellent in a commercial retail center with excellent parking. Buildout: Recently updated and looks very nice, good investment. Menu: Pretty traditional and really true to culture, perfect for my tastes. Food Prep: Well done, it is important and so easy to screw up. Food taste: Perfect, cannot get much better than that. So happy Los Arcos close to our house and have eaten here many times... Libations: Maybe needs to work on this profit center of every restaurant but would advise to just go simple or make sure the owner is behind the bar and in a good mood. One of our last visits things went very wrong. Waitstaff: Could not be much friendlier, fast, and happy if you're happy.
