They were cheap yes but needs room for improvement on flavor. I ordered 3: pork pastor, chicken, and steak. Chicken was dry and quite bland, steak was pretty tough but flavored a lil bit better, the pastor was tender and hit the spot although this taste bud cannot lie -- i have had better pork pastor elsewhere. Plus they are open really late, like pass 3AM for you late night munchers. The wait can be 5 or more minutes depending how busy it is and what you ordered. The quesadillas are good too but a bit expensive (around $8) so I usually tend to stick with the tacos, more bang for the buck. read more

Desperately needed in this area. The staff is always super friendly. They're also probably the only place in the neighborhood to get anything decent to eat after 9-10pm. The Carnitas tacos are my favorite, they're wonderfully seasoned even before the adding the green chile sauce and generously portioned @ $1.75 a piece. I get four and ALWAYS end up wishing I got more. Good thing they're only a few block away and opened late ;) Their spot is great too for those coming home on the D line, they're right across from the base of the staircase of the station.
