    # Overall: I can recommend Tacos Mi Ranchito if you're craving some birria in Brooklyn. I know I'll be back for some more. # Ambiance The taco truck is unmissable and has a large screen that displays the menu as well as different pictures, allowing you to visualize what you're ordering. You have the option to pay with cash or digitally, giving the customer a nice bit of convenience. # Food and Drink Birria Tacos Initially, I ordered 4 tacos to share between 2 people, but I had to go back and order 5 more. Even though it was my first time trying this taco truck and I should've tried different protein options, the birria tacos here were just that much better than other taco trucks I've had in Brooklyn. The birria meat is still juicy and the outer taco shell is grilled such that it serves as a hard shell. The consume is nice and hearty. Other Tacos Other tacos that you order here won't have the same shell treatment that birria tacos have. They're still double shelled, but both are soft. On a separate visit, I had the Suadero (tender beef), Orejas (pig ears), and Cueritos (pork skin). They were alright, but the birria experience was simply better.

Really good food, probably my favorite taco truck in brooklyn, people that work there are friendly

Plato with Enchilada (Spicy Pork) , super tasty charred bits and delicious fat

This place is super good. Got a Plato with spicy pork and 4 tacos( Pork, Chorizo with Steak, Pork Ear and Pork Skin) and all of it was delicious. They actually also gave us a bonus taco ( think it was chicken with red mole) so that was super cool too. The green salsa cuts through it nicely and the red salsa has a good kick to it. Will definitely be coming back ( especially for that pork skin and spicy pork)

2 chorizo, tinga, carnitas, Al Pastor

I might have found a gem with this one. I didn't think anyone could top my fave taqueria but after my meal last night.. idk man it's looking a little slow for Linos and it kills me to say that. I enjoyed every single taco I had, I was so happy it's almost laughable. Theyre a little out of the way from my neighborhood, nothing crazy but significant enough that they were never really advertised on my Ubereats account. I stumbled across their restaurant page by accident. Almost all the taquerias around have raised their prices significantly. I remember when you could order tacos for $1.75-$3. Nowadays, the norm is really $4-$8 but they have theirs set at $3.50 which is a nice medium if you ask me. And I'm sure that their prices are probably lower in person like most restaurants. I got their Tinga, Bistec, Carnitas, Al Pastor and Chorizo. The salsa they send is more of a guac-salsa. I didn't try the orange one, I usually stick with the green. They sent a grilled cebolla which is a HUGE GREEN FLAG and the tacos were packed with meat. They are NOT taquitos, they're regularly sized tortillas. The tinga was great. The bistec was perfectly seasoned, not bland or too salty.. just right. The Al Pastor was reaaaaallly good and I'm not even a huge fan of Al pastor on a regular basis. The carnitas was a nice change from what I usually see with carnitas from my go to spot. Lots of charred bits from the grill, super tender and very flavorful. The star of the show however was that chorizo taco. I have been waiting to find chorizo that reminds me of my all time favorite taqueria in Brooklyn and finally.. the wait is over. Perfectly chopped (I personally hate large chunks of sausage), salty and smoky with a hint of sweetness. Omg it was just so good. I always save chorizo for last and I was not disappointed. It took the meal from a 10 to a 20. And because my usual spot doesn't do chorizo well.. I think they might have just been dethroned.

Walk past this truck all the time. One of the only legit taco spots in the area i'd say. Better than I thought, would definitely come back.

At the Riegelmann Boardwalk location, We ordered two original dogs, a chili dog, a bag of large fries and drinks. Total bill was $42.39; the original dog and large fries were $5.99 each, the chilli dog was $6.99, and a regular-size drink was $4.99. (You can get three hamburgers at McDonalds;s for the price of a regular drink at Nathan's Famous.) As we ate, I wondered what the big deal was about Nathan's Famous. "Hot dog is hot dog," I kept thinking. This was no exception. Wife said that hers tasted like her own homemade ones. Mine tasted no different from the ones I got every month at my home church. They tasted good but nothing that was truly outstanding. The fries were the same. Thankfully, I had a heavy breakfast so didn't have to order much for lunch. Wait line to order was long (at least 10 minutes). Table seating was very limited at Riegelmann Boardwalk, but we found a bench towards the beach to sit and eat. I cannot comment on the parking since we came here by train. I expect it to be difficult and expensive since this is New York City. Unlike our tour guide, I'm not going to recommend for or against Nathan's Famous. You are welcome to try, but don't be surprised if they don't measure up.
