Found this truck after trying out a few different trucks in Pico Rivera. I will say that this truck so far is the best in the area. I've had every meat on the menu and my favorites are the carne asada and the pastor. I just throw on some lime and it's good to go! I also want to add that the guys working here are super friendly and nice. We ordered a bit to much and were short a few bucks. We were going to cancel some items to make it work and the guy taking our order said, "don't worry about it" and let us get everything we originally ordered. Because of this small gesture we will be life long patrons to this truck! So why the -1 star? Well it's a great truck with great people but it's not the best truck (meat wise) that I've been too. Very rude people, charge you based upon your appearance. Didn't believe it at first but I got charged for quesadillas ranging from $5-$9. For the same quesadilla, and it varied, it wasnt just a price increase. Food is good but until they change that policy I am not going back. Looooove this taco truck!!! We came 2 nights in a row it was soo good. I ordered the carne asada tacos. The guys in the truck are friendly and the service is quick. They have red and green salsa options and guacamole outside of the truck you put on yourself. I used all 3 and it was delicious!! The tacos come with onion and cilantro. They asked if I wanted it on my tacos which I appreciated because I hate onion and usually forget to say no onion. Then I find myself picking out every last piece of onion which is a pain lol. I'm going to be extremely white for a second. I feel it's only appropriate to present a disclaimer before I do it: the worst thing lately about coming to this taco truck is the guy standing in the DMV parking lot who asks you if you want him to wash your windows for a couple dollars. I've even tried to avoid him by parking far down the street in front of the truck, but he caught sight of me and walked from the tree he stands under to ask to wash my windows. With that out of the way, the tacos from this truck are pretty good. At $1.25 a taco that's more expensive than my favorite, but further away, taco truck ("Jose's" Tacos) and the tacos aren't quite as good. But this taco truck has really great salsas that essentially balance the equation out. The "avocado salsa" takes the cake. I wish this truck served nachos, but instead it just has asada fries which were somewhat disappointing when I had them: fries, cheese, meat. Not very super. That said, these are the best taco truck tacos in the immediate surrounding 5 mile area. Good tacos, really good salsas, quick and friendly service, big safe brightly lit parking lot, and I guess you can have some guy windex your car windows for $2 if you really want. Super bomb taco truck right outside the dmv. Their meats are all on point! My favorites are the asada, al pastor, lengua and chorizo! However you choose (taco, burrito, quesadilla or even on fries) it's amazing! The red and green salsas are outstanding too. Not too spicy with tons of flavor! Love the grilled onions and jalapeño on the side! They also serve horchata and piña. Definitely my favorite local taco truck! The guys are always so nice and always address you as "Primo or Prima". Started going to this truck about 3 years ago. Food was excellent! Great flavor and great prices. I went a few weeks ago and the meat, both chicken and asada, did not taste the same. It was definitely better quality before. The asada meat was saltier and leas flavor. It's still better than some other trucks I've tried though. I recently moved to the area and saw this truck parked by the DMV on the way home with customers every single day...all day long. It was even 11pm one night and there was a line. I knew I had to try this place next taco tuesday... my brother tried the chicken burrito and I got tacos (carne & pastor) and they were so bomb...fresh, hot, & seasoned well. It came with all the garnishes plus a side of sauteed onions that I could probably eat by the pound. Our meal all togetger cost $11, which was a bargain for the flavor.
