    Chicken quesadilla
    Jenna B.

Food trucks always seem to be hit or miss, unfortunately this was a big miss for me. For starters, the attendant stood at the window with his head down, presumably looking at his phone and did not greet us as we approached and browsed the menu. We were the only customers around. When we were ready and came all the way to the window he simply looked up without speaking. For ~30 bucks total, I had the chicken quesadilla and my husband got 3 extremely tiny tacos. No one else was around waiting for their food, so it seemed like we were the only order going on. We had enough time to walk away, browse the motorcycle and van show, cast our votes for our favorite, walk all the way back and still have to wait for another 5 or so minutes for lukewarm food. The chicken was incredibly dry in my soft, hardly warm quesadilla, and I couldn't even taste the cheese. The only redeeming item we received was the birria sauce that came with my husband's tacos. It was super hot and flavorful, unlike the rest of our food. We were both still hungry afterwards. For 12-14 dollars per meal, it's disappointing that no sides were included (and no drink). I'll definitely be avoiding this one at future events.

    Unlabeled peanut sauce

Their hot sauce has unlabeled PEANUTS in it. After I had to rush to take an epipen and throw up, I came back and handed them the bottle and asked them to label the peanut sauce because that is one of the most common allergies. I explained if I didn't live super close then I would have had to go to the hospital. The guy actually had the nerve to tell me 'people usually ask me what's in my sauces' and refused to label it, then put it right back out for someone else to have the same surprise anaphylactic reaction. Someone could actually die from this willful negligence. The red sauce in the bottom right is the peanut sauce.

Damn good food. Was not expecting this level of authenticity but I'm really glad I found it. The quesabarilla was fantastic.

Peaceful, beautiful ambience for lunch with friends... well, not so peaceful once friends start…read moretalking! LOL! But that's what makes it fun! We ordered the combo with chicken enchilada & quesadillas.. along with veggie fajitas. This wasn't my first time here and I have to say they continue to impress with their freshness, flavors and beautiful presentation. Love the fun touch of the robot bringing the food to the table. Kids will definitely enjoy that part.. BUT let's be honest, some grown-ups are kids at heart too :) A visit to a Mexican restaurant is incomplete without margaritas, so we tried the house margarita and the mangonada. The mangonada was bold, flavorful & perfectly paired with that Tajín-style kick! The server was polite and attentive, which made the experience even better. Great food, good service, and a beautiful place to enjoy lunch with friends, family :)

The food was OK. The chips were a little thick for my taste and the sauce was a bit too sweet, but it was not bad I had the enchiladas and they were pretty standard. It said they came with three different sauces, but mine only had the red sauce. My daughter got the chimichanga. I tasted that and it was very good. As my grandkids loved this place I'm sure we'll go again. I'll have to order something different and see if I can raise my review.

We recently moved into the area so we are starting to check out places. We decided to come here…read moretonight for dinner. When we arrived, we asked for a table of two and instead of asking where we'd like to sit they immediately offered us a table outside and then the next table they tried to offer us was right in front next to the hostess desk so we had to ask for another table if not, we opted to go to the bar and they finally gave us a table. When we sat down, our server came up to us right away. They delivered chips and salsa, which were delicious. I do appreciate that they gave us our own salsa dish for the two people in our party for dinner. The cocktails are massive. They come in 20 ounce and 40 ounce sizes. I had the pineapple jalapeño margarita which was good although I did not taste a lot of tequila. We started with the three dip appetizer, which was guacamole, queso, and bean dip, all of which were so good. For dinner, I had the grilled steak tacos. My husband had the shrimp and chorizo tacos. Everything tasted delicious. They both came with a side of rice and beans, which were also very good. The flavors were there. I would recommend going here. Dinner was pretty affordable and it's a lot of food. I would definitely just space out the timing of your food cause once we put the order in for our entrées came out within five minutes that would be my only thing that I did not like about it was how quickly the food came out. We ordered dessert to go and both my husband and I were shocked at how big this Chocoflan was. It looks delicious. We can't wait to try it. I am sure we will be back.

I've never seen a restaurant go downhill so quickly. At first, it was a lively place with great…read moreservice and good food and reasonably priced large margaritas. My go to was the chicken flautas or enchiladas or fajitas. But something has changed in the last few months for the worse. They have a fancy new menu, and everything went up in price. And the food comes in about five minutes now, which tells me that it's prepared in advance and assembled quickly. The fajitas are never sizzling anymore, and the chicken is lukewarm and tough. The side dish of beans and rice with the fajitas is clearly not fresh and has an off taste. This chain is probably growing too quickly and losing track of quality. I saw this happen with Mi Cancun. The location in Apex is already losing business. You can tell it's not as busy as it used to be. Wake up management you're about to lose a good thing.
