The pastries get freshly filled with filling upon your order, and they box it up so nicely! There are aeating benches for you to sit and wait for your order, which didn't take too long. I got 3 cannolis, 2 cream puffs, and 2 cookies (I got the last chocolate cookie of the day). Service was friendly and quick as well, only took about 10ish minutes! Everything tasted amazing! And best thing about them was that it was not too overly sweet! It was the perfect amount that makes me want to keep tasting more. The cookies especially were so satisfying and soft and I loved how everything was quite decent sized as well! I will definitely be coming back!

The pastries are the best I've ever had. I am a lobster tail junkie. Whenever I'm in NY or Philly, I seek out the best. I've been to several famous Italian bakeries in these cities and never found one as good as Utica Bakery in Apex. It's world class. Just look at the cannoli cream and pistachio cream stuffing those bad boys. Their savory foods are equally as impressive. This stuffed bread with meatballs and Parmesan was excellent and I love their tomato pie (not pictured), which I have had in the past. Everything here is outstanding! If you're anywhere close on a weekend, get there asap.

The crust looked cooked from the top, but the dough under each slice was not cooked. I ate one slice before I realized why it didn't taste right. Unfortunately, I got sick from this. I will not be returning.

I got a Chicken Tikka pizza (12", 8 pieces) for lunch - big enough for two people or two servings…read morefor one person. The taste was very good and a little spicy, which I really appreciate. The crust was not stellar. It was not thin (I prefer thick) but it was kind of limp, not crisp, so it was virtually impossible to pick up a single slice with my hands. I ended up cutting pieces to make them more manageable or used a fork under an entire slice to help support it while I ate. It didn't stop me from eating all the crust, up to the edges, which is my usual modus operandi. The plasticware was kind of on the shabby side. There were a few (less than a dozen) loose forks and spoons (not wrapped) in a station where you get such stuff. Curiously, there were no knives but I thought I would ask if I needed one. It turns out that I did want a knife, I asked the staff, they rooted around a bit, but couldn't find any at first. I keep a small supply of plasticware, napkins, etc in my car so I got a knife from there. In the meantime, the staff did turn up a couple of individually-wrapped plastic knives. I used mine instead and put the knives with the other plasticware for others to use. I ate half of the pizza at the restaurant and I got a takeaway box for the other half of the pizza for dinner. I will probably return to try other things.

They bring chips and salsa to the table. We ordered sodas and we put in our order. Our teenagers ordered the ACP, husband had the carnitas enchiladas and I had the caldo de pollo. The kids liked their ACP and I loved my caldo. It was full of flavor and it was a big portion that will leave you satisfied. Sadly my husband did not like his dish. The carnitas lacked flavor and it seemed like they just had it on the grill for awhile. I tasted the beans and I didn't even finish the bite. There was no effort in the flavor! Nothing! I felt like a they opened a can of black beans and placed it in a bowl. Overall the place is nice and staff is friendly and they were fast. Hope that it was an over site in the carnitas enchiladas and the beans but they are very basic standard Mexican dishes that is kinda hard to mess up. We might give it another try, the next time in the area.
