The pros place was clean and had restrooms. Plenty of picnic tables and shade to eat at. My son enjoyed the pastor tacos. Really good grilled peppers come with it. My wife told me she wanted to try a food truck tonight so we found this one in Oakdale. I've heard of it and wanted to eat here for sometime. It's very nice here and they have lots of seating outdoors of course. They do have bathrooms, which is nice and it's not a porta potty. Stopped to get lunch on our way back from running errands for work. They have a small little parking lot they share with the neighboring food truck, a clean outdoor seating area and clean restrooms for patrons. There was a heater set up on the tables in the outdoor area which was nice as the weather was rather cold. I ordered 4 different types of tacos and my friend ordered 3 tacos & a tamale. The gentlemen working the truck were so nice & friendly and the food was incredible. We took a seat and waited for our food and they brought it out to our table. Between the two of us we ordered: the house special taco, fish taco, shrimp taco, favorite taco, surf & turf taco, carne asada street taco & a pork tamale. These tacos were so delicious and remind me of tacos I ate back home when growing up in LA. The Surf & Turf Taco was spicy but it was so delicious, I wish I had ordered more than one of them. The regular house Carne Asada tacos were the closest I have found to home, and felt like I could have eaten 20 of them! The tamale was flavorful but was slightly over cooked - the edge of the masa was hard and we cut it off. It was served with a side of green salsa & crema. Although I'm sure all of their food is excellent, this review is only for their Carne Asada tacos. I have been here many times, including just a few days ago. I have never been disappointed with their Carne Asada tacos and today was no exception. I can say with confidence that these are the best Carne Asada tacos within the city of Oakdale. This is a taco truck, trailer rather. In Oakdale you'll commonly hear it referred to as "the red taco truck." As far as taco trucks go, the ambience is as to be expected and the seating area is above average, covered with lighting and some benches as well as bathrooms. The staff is definitely friendlier than other taco trucks making a point to say hello and when times are slow enough, the owner will even come out and mingle with his customers. The food is Amazing every-time! My husband loves their shrimp tacos, they're great size, and full of flavor. The chicken avocado spinach wrap has a delicious chipotle sauce that makes it unbelievably delicious! It's filled with so much good stuff, I can almost never finish the whole things. We drive to Oakdale just to come to this truck. They have a great amount of outdoor seating, it's an authentic vibe, and always very clean. We came here after going to Dutch Bros, I was starving and ordered the carne asada fries, and the shrimp burrito. This place is really popular and there were many people ordering food. It took about 15 min for the food to come out. Even though it is a "taco truck" there is a nice clean restroom to use, and plenty of table to eat at. The carne asada fries were made with waffle fries, and ended up being a little too salty for me. The portion was also smaller than expected. The shrimp burrito was really tasty!! I have been coming to this taco truck for years. I don't know if there was a change of ownership but recently after so many years I went to it ordered a burrito. I sat on one of the chairs, the benches looking down and saw a bunch of roaches coming underneath of the truck so unsanitary and so disgusting. The guy that was cleaning the outside, just sweep the roach, the dead roach as if it was nothing and he saw me looking at them because so many were coming out. This is my first review. I have done on a restaurant. I am not going to do bad reviews, but can't you get a pest control to come and spray the area.??? will never go again and they keep the door open on the side. Love this place but the last time I ordered something the lady jotted down the wrong meat. So I went back and had it all replaced. Problem was I feel I got shorted on the meal/meat I got after because the lady made the mistake and I ended up not enjoying my meal(more-rice, beans than usual). Normally there is a lot of meat in my meal and this one was short changed and feel it was done because they had to do it twice. After 2 bites I decided these tacos were Yelp-worthy! This is my new "go-to" for quick delicious Mexican in Oakdale. I live on the east side of town, but the drive is totally worth it. LOVE this place and everything I have tried is amazing. I usually opt for tacos, and today I decided to try the two "special" tacos on the menu; both were SO good. The top one was a mix of carnitas and pastor topped with "salad" or marinated cabbage served inside a semi-crisp flour tortilla. The bottom was a grilled chicken taco with the addition of melted cheese and green sauce. YUM. The regular tacos are delicious, but these were truly "special." My only complaints (if you can call it that) are that they are closed Mondays, and they accept cash only. So for last minute dinner trips, have to plan ahead a bit.
