The best tacos I had ever had in a while. The atmosphere was great. My bf and I took a trip to NYC and this was added to the list at the last minute. The food was a lot, paid about $40-50 or less. I just remember it being cheap and the quality being a lot. Service was also exceptional. Highly recommend!

While in the area visiting a fellow Yelper ( hey Nicci D !) we were famished and needed lunch. We Yelped local eateries and decided on Tacos Morelos. 37th Avenue is home to many Latin flavors but you just can't turn down a 5 Star Taco restaurant! We arrived and many locals were dining on delicious dishes. We were awestruck by all the colorful, authentic and eye catching decor. We reviewed the happy hour specials and the owner took our drink orders. Nic decided on a $5 Mojito and I had to have my Horchata ! We feasted our eyes on the carnitas torta and tacos. I also tried a barbacoa ( goat) taco. Our platters arrived and I tried the goat taco. It had a very gamey taste to it, that I didn't like. The carnitas were ok. Everything was very hot and the toppings and tortillas were delicious. They give a complimentary basket of fresh crispy tortilla chips and salsa which are delicious. This place has a full bar which is awesome for a mid day pick me up ! The service is good and the food is very good. I'll definitely be back to take advantage of the full bar and drink specials.

Being from California, I had been a snob about Mexican food in NYC for many years. The cuisine in the city has gotten better over the years but Queens has always been the better borough for the Central American goods. I have been to the East Village and Financial District outposts and the Jackson Heights location is really the best. Last time I came here, I met the owner and he had mentioned he sold the EV location. This is my absolute favorite Mexican place in the city. I often think about their Al Pastor, salty pork and caramelized pineapple, so addictive. Cooking the pineapple really makes a difference. I like getting the Huarache trio with different meats, so yummy. They are perfect all the time: crispy on the outside, soft and luscious on the inside. It's good that it's a little far from me as i would probably be there everyday.

They sell tacos individually and it's not good. It tastes bad. Do not waste your time Al Pastor Taco

I've tried many items from this restaurant: tortas, tacos, tostadas, huaraches, burritos and nachos--ALL DELICOUS!! The chorizo they use is very tasty and they cook it until it's crispy!! Awesome place to eat Mexican food!!!

Went back for some mole poblano and an assortment of tacos, the chorizo and lengua variety which did not disappoint!

The place is pretty large despite it looking somewhat narrow outside but there's a lot of seating inside as well as some seating outside in the case the place gets crowded, fortunately I didn't have to worry about that. Credit to the service, two waitresses went above and beyond their duty to made sure I had a satisfactory time at their Restaurant and I will always give credit where it's due to the wait staff doing a solid job. Even though I'm giving this place a 5 star rating, there were two small grievances. I did have to wait for some time for my food to get to my plate, like an almost 15 minute wait, but for what it's worth, the food was solid. The other one, which was a small annoyance was that the empanadas I ordered along with the Pollo A La Brasa were forgotten and if I hadn't brought that to the waitresses attention, I would've went without my appetizers. They did make it up by giving me a complimentary margarita. I do appreciate the gesture, but I'm not a strong drinker, I'm a lightweight and after one sip of that, it was powerful enough to almost knock me out. I tried to endure it but I only finished half of that before giving up. Despite that, just the show of them caring for the customer is enough for me to know that they value their patrons here. That's more than enough for me. I like the vibe of the place, it has a Latin fusion feel but majority of their food is affordable. I'd make a 2nd visit here in due time.

The sauce was just how I like it, not too sweet and just right. The steak was tender and I devoured it right up. I also enjoyed the green sauce that they put on top of fries. Their happy hour menu is top tier. I love every single one of their frozen drinks. The service is a hit or miss. The busser was so quick to take away our dishes even when we were still working on it. He even took my godsister's margarita without her noticing, even though there was some left. I'd understand if they needed the table back and wanted us to wrap up but the dining room was pretty empty. Cleaning up aggressively while we're clearly still eating just makes an unpleasant experience.

The bar itself is very much dive bar vibes, with a really solid draft beer selection and decent outdoor patio for folks to enjoy during the nicer weather. We were two of four people here when happy hour kicked off and were served right away. Drinks were strong despite it being happy hour, and we appreciated the free popcorn too. The Old Bay seasoning on the hot popcorn straight out of their vintage looking popcorn popper is ::chefs kiss:: I ended up getting another round because why wouldn't you at these prices? We were tempted to stay (or even come back) for trivia night since it was starting in a few hours at 7, but decided to save it for another time. Really a gem of a bar in Astoria, 10/10 no notes.

It was balanced and refreshing, but pretty similar to most mules. For an app, we had the halloumi fries and they were really good, especially if you are a halloumi fan. The portion is definitely on the smaller side, so if you are sharing with a group I would order more than one. For my entree, I had the Turkish eggs and loved them. They were really well seasoned and the staff was kind enough to let me swap the bread for their biscuits. I had heard great things about the biscuits and they did not disappoint. My partner had the Chicken Not Waffles and I stole some of his cinnamon butter for my biscuit. So good! I also took a bite of his pancake and really liked that too. The staff was incredibly nice to our pup and I really appreciated that, especially since she can be a little overly friendly. They brought her a big bowl of water and just seemed genuinely happy to have her there. Overall, we really enjoyed Queen's Room. Great food, incredibly friendly service, and a nice brunch spot if you want to bring your pup along. Would definitely come again!

Food shared between 2 people: Chicken Wings (lemon parmesan flavor) Seared Tofu (comes with asparagus, broccolini, spinach). French Fries (large portion so others at the table had to help us with it). One of my other friends had the Cacio e Pepe tortellini. He said it didn't taste like "authentic" cacio e pepe but that it was still delicious and he finished it all. Great staff, location, ambiance, food and drinks.
