Food and service was great. No tea. Just bottled water and soda. There were a good bit on the menu that I want to try. I will be back. Gracias

Delicious and food is plenty big to split between two people

Decent size! Not greasy or too heavy. Fries portion could have been a bit more generous, but…read moreoverall great flavor and taste. Did not have to wait long for the food. Secured in a cozy corner of Camp North End in Charlotte. i will definitely be going back to try their other options :)

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and when our original lunch plan fell through, I…read morefinally had my chance. The bright yellow exterior definitely catches your eye and makes it hard to miss. The menu is simple: just a handful of savory egg rolls, a couple of sweet options, a few sides, and a surprisingly large selection of lemonades. We ordered the Hot Honey Chicken and the Steak & Cheese, and both were fried to perfection, packed with flavor, and absolutely loaded with filling. These aren't your average egg rolls...they're basically a meal wrapped in a crispy shell. At around $10 each, they're a great value. In fact, my boyfriend and I agreed that next time we'd probably split one because we still had more than half of one left over. I was disappointed the pizza egg roll was sold out, so I guess that'll have to be my excuse to come back. The gourmet bottled lemonades were tasty and HUGE, but here's where they lost a few points. They weren't served very cold (just out of a fridge that wasn't super cold), so we asked for a cup of ice after ordering. We were told it'd be an extra 50 cents. Normally I wouldn't blink at 50 cents, but when you've already purchased nearly $30 worth of food and drinks, charging for a simple cup of ice just feels...petty. Especially when orders are placed through a self-service kiosk and there isn't even an option to add ice during checkout. It was enough to make me pass on it out of principle, which I did. Service was a little hit or miss. Since ordering is done at a kiosk, there wasn't much interaction. They accidentally handed us our order as takeout even though we were dining in, and no one seemed particularly welcoming. Ironically, they were much friendlier on the way out with a "Thanks for coming!" than they were when we arrived. Strange vibe. The dining area is tiny, just a few bar seats, one bigger booth, and a couple of small 2 seater tables. There is outdoor seating, but on a hot Carolina summer day, takeout is probably the better move anyway. Especially since they had a giant industrial fan keeping the inside cool. Overall, the food absolutely delivered, and I'd come back. Next time it'll be one egg roll, one lemonade, and probably take it to go. And hopefully that pizza egg roll is back in stock next time!

Wow! The reviews…read moremade me do it and I'm so glad I did! We stopped in during the FIFA championship game and had the most delicious Smashburger and fries while watching Spain win! Inside the building you order at the counter for any of the restaurants advertised on the exterior of the building which includes this one. In contrast to other reviews, yes, there are drinks on site available. It's just a separate order. Beers, sodas, water, etc., all available. The burger? We both got the Slowpoke smashee. Double burger with cheese and the slightly perfectly crunchy edges of beef, pickles that zing, a sauce that just makes it all MELT in your mouth, and the fries which are literally the PERFECT crisp! On man! They are seasoned well, and fried perfectly. The burger was a bit greasy as expected and the perfect blend of seasoned beef, toasted brioche bun, sautéed onions that are delicious and perfectly sautéed, and that melted real cheese and sauce. It was so good my boyfriend ate his and ordered another one of course he had a stomach ache after, but yes, he devoured two doubles. It was that tasty. My pictures do it absolutely no justice because we dove in before I took them so they look a mess. It came looking much better than these photos of burgers we had already tore into from the excitement from reading the reviews. Service was great at the counter. Friendly. Your food gets brought out to you. The seating area is comfortable and casual and even includes some couches and several TVs. Perfect place to watch the game.

I finally tried For Crying Out Loud Grill, located at 363 Church St. N. in Concord, at The Nook…read more It's a permanent food-truck-style kitchen with a casual atmosphere and plenty of seating nearby. It was too hot to sit outside so we got it to go. We ordered online so all I had to do as pick it up. I ordered the single smash burger on a buttery brioche bun ($7.00), and it was a solid burger--simple, flavorful, and satisfying. The fries were definitely a highlight! They were crispy, well-seasoned, and very good. Other burgers were 2 times the single smash burger. If you're in the Concord area and looking for a casual spot for a smash burger and fries, For Crying Out Loud is worth checking out.
