I absolutely love fries in general....but these are one of my favorites in Charlotte. If you lied that seaonsing crispy on the outside, and soft potato on the inside taste for fries, definitely try these out! I typically dont splurge on drinks when I eat out, but I always do here because of the delicious Joe's lemonade they have in stock. They have SO MANY flavors and all of them have been amazing, peach being my favorite! They just switched locations at Camp North End so there is a couple spots for indoor seating, a seperate pick-up section, and a lot of out door seating! I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and when our original lunch plan fell through, I finally had my chance. The bright yellow exterior definitely catches your eye and makes it hard to miss. The menu is simple: just a handful of savory egg rolls, a couple of sweet options, a few sides, and a surprisingly large selection of lemonades. We ordered the Hot Honey Chicken and the Steak & Cheese, and both were fried to perfection, packed with flavor, and absolutely loaded with filling. These aren't your average egg rolls...they're basically a meal wrapped in a crispy shell. At around $10 each, they're a great value. In fact, my boyfriend and I agreed that next time we'd probably split one because we still had more than half of one left over. I was disappointed the pizza egg roll was sold out, so I guess that'll have to be my excuse to come back. The gourmet bottled lemonades were tasty and HUGE, but here's where they lost a few points. They weren't served very cold (just out of a fridge that wasn't super cold), so we asked for a cup of ice after ordering. We were told it'd be an extra 50 cents. Normally I wouldn't blink at 50 cents, but when you've already purchased nearly $30 worth of food and drinks, charging for a simple cup of ice just feels...petty. Especially when orders are placed through a self-service kiosk and there isn't even an option to add ice during checkout. It was enough to make me pass on it out of principle, which I did. Service was a little hit or miss. Since ordering is done at a kiosk, there wasn't much interaction. They accidentally handed us our order as takeout even though we were dining in, and no one seemed particularly welcoming. Ironically, they were much friendlier on the way out with a "Thanks for coming!" than they were when we arrived. Strange vibe. The dining area is tiny, just a few bar seats, one bigger booth, and a couple of small 2 seater tables. There is outdoor seating, but on a hot Carolina summer day, takeout is probably the better move anyway. Especially since they had a giant industrial fan keeping the inside cool. Overall, the food absolutely delivered, and I'd come back. Next time it'll be one egg roll, one lemonade, and probably take it to go. I only enjoyed the crust, but for me it was just a little bit too much. If you're in love with pepperoni pizza, I think it's a great option. They did have other sweet and savory options, but for me it was just extremely salty that I couldn't even finish it. Went here the day after our wedding on our way to our honeymoon destinations and just stopped in the cute warehouse looking district which looks like it is urbanizing into a great little area to hang out, work and eat. I'm not sure if this location used to be in Gastonia, but I went to the establishment in Charlotte. Currently they're in a food stall, but there is a pending store front on the way. I waited around 15 mins for the egg roll. The egg rolls were piping hot! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try the egg rolls until I got back home. The good thing is that they were still hot! Every single item we ordered was beyond amazing, but the real stars for me were the Pizza Egg Roll and the Apple Pie Egg Roll. I mean OMG!!!! That apple pie roll alone was worth the 5-hour drive. Perfectly crisp outside, warm and gooey inside, and the flavors? Unreal. The service was just as impressive. The staff was super friendly, and we were lucky enough to come at a slower time, so our order came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. I went on a Saturday afternoon and boy were they busy. Although they were busy I waited maybe 15/20 mins. I didn't mind because I wasn't in a rush. I ordered The Hot Honey Chicken w/ sauce on the side. I got charged extra for the hot honey sauce and thought that was strange since it already comes on the eggroll. Well when I received the eggroll it had the sauce drizzled on the roll and on the side. I nicely made them aware and they said it wasn't rung up like that but that they'd re make it. I don't like any kind of sauce drizzled or put on my food so I always ask for it on the side. They also let me keep the wrong one which I thought was nice. But the egg rolls has a lot of filling and it was fresh and hot. I dipped my fork into the sauce to taste it first and it tasted nothing like hot honey. It tasted more like a sweet bbq sauce. So I don't know if they gave me the wrong sauce or if this was their version of hot honey. I did not like it for the eggroll itself. The sauce was too overpowering for the roll. It has onions and peppers, 2 types of cheese and a garlic butter sauce. I am so glad that they did remake the roll for me. Eggroll went viral via social media due to ChimeTime and I had to check it out. I've gone two times (once at the Lowe's in Huntersville). Went at like 11:40 and the line was mad long already. Sat in line for over 3 hours and bc I'm pescatarian there are limited things I can try. So on this day she only had limited items. When they ran out, we couldn't hear what was left. Someone in the line had to ask out loud so everyone could hear what wasn't available anymore. I would love to see it paired with a sweet chili sauce or have some more sweeter and/or other apparent flavors to help highlight the main ingredient. I was in Charlotte for a visit. I saw a man give her 5k for her food and their service. The line was long and I ordered for 6 people. Her food is great. I found the pepperoni pizza to be too salty, but I enjoyed the other flavors. My nieces gave the pepperoni pizza an enthusiastic thumbs up, so I will say it was too much salt for me. However if you are a pepperoni pizza person, you will like it. We purchased three peach cobbler and three strawberries and cream Eggrolls. It was decadent, but not off putting. The whole family enjoyed the meal. We will definitely look to see where she's parked when we visit the area again. One suggestion to the Eggroll Company, consider changing the containers to a much thicker cardboard style or change to strong biodegradable containers. A suggestion to those who go there for food: if you are picking up food for multiple people, bring a nice size heavyweight cardboard box. Get another cardboard box and separate it into several sections by cutting, or ripping, along each seam. The to go containers are about 5"x9" of I had to guess. Either double that or quadruple that, depending upon the number of orders. Normally it is one Eggroll per container, but they may double up on a container if you repeat an item you ordered. The Eggrolls are HEFTY! that is great! But when stacking several, transporting everything can be a disaster. When you go, take your heavy box together, leaving the top open. When you get your food, place a piece of the ripped up card board between each level of food. I think that would be enough to support and transport them.
