Went and tried this place around 3pm. No one was in the restaurant. I ordered what I thought to be a MEXICAN SANDWICH (tortilla layered with refried beans, cheese and I get ground beef. Continue layering then top it with LOTS of cheese and broil until golden). This is what described. What I got was their version of a MEXICAN PIZZA. It had fajita veggies, very little ground beef, topped with a tortilla and VERY LITTLE CHEESE. It was also WET AND SLOPPY. I tried to talk to the waitress, she just said sorry. I asked how a pizza can be WET AND SLOPPY!? I mean while I was there there were only 2-3 folks that came in. Some skimping on the ground beef and cheese on your "pizza" was ridiculous. I also ordered a strawberry margarita. I bought a shot of tequila because there was ZERO alcohol in it. I ordered a pink lemonade. I poured some of it in the margarita and came up with my own drink. The CONCENTRATE they used for the margarita was thick and just wasn't good. The BEST things I had were the chips and salsa and a side of the guacamole. I ate the ground beef from the pizza with the guacamole and called it a night. Will I go back? Maybe. Just DO NOT GET THE MEXICAN PIZZA.

El Pancho Villa is located in Lowell, NC. We were greeted at the hostess stand by a man who was friendly, about his business and always paying attention to the door so that he could greet guests. They do have the ability to host a larger party. And, plenty of seating: booths and tables. The guacamole was FRESH! Great flavor, and the salsa was delicious as well. We prefer thicker tortilla chips and their chips hit the mark-thick, crunchy, and not salty! My husband got the combination fajitas and really enjoyed his food. My daughter went with the chicken chimichanga and I got the beef chimichanga. In the menu, it says that the beef is cubed; however, it was ground beef. When I asked, he offered to have it remade with steak. I wouldn't allow it, and it was good. I also got a regular beef hard taco. It was good, not great. The ground beef could use more seasoning. The rice and beans were very good. I will definitely be back to try the steak chimichanga. Overall, service and food were good. El Pancho Villa is a solid choice for Mexican food in the area.

Great food! The sweet tea, salsa, queso, and ACP were 10/10! Would definitely recommend!

Finally had the pleasure of trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint. It was so delicious. Food was amazing, hot, fresh and not to mention portions were very generous. The staff was friendly, and they were fast. We will for sure be back.

Service was just ok but food was horrible. Meat of horrible quality and sides not cheesy at all. Very disappointing.

Came in for Taco Tuesday! $1 hard shell tacos on the sign but didn't quite see the $1.50 for soft shell Either way it was a hit! The tacos were juicy and moist. The flavor was amazing. They do charge $1 extra for a side of pico but they were so tasty. Queso was good but I usually add my pico to it so it was missing something. Next time I'll clarify that I was a side of pico vs on my tacos. The Jamaica was okay. A little watered down but it was the end of the day. I'll definitely be back. My son liked the rice and beans as well. This place is in my top 5 The price was inaccurate for my tacos on the receipt but the manager fixed it for me and explained. He also said they had a new menu coming and a special on Sunday that's like $10 for taco, burrito, enchilada and rice and beans I think. Speedy Gonzalez meal lol. We will be back for it.

My boyfriend got the Hawaiian quesadillas and a horchata to drink. The drinking is yummmmmy, I can attest to this! He says the quesadillas are excellent. The service has been prompt and friendly. Aside from the way the building looks on the outside this is a very quiet and pleasant restaurant. The building looks a little sketchy to me but shame on me for judging a book by its cover. I will definitely come here again and recommend you give it a try.
