YES. A THOUSAND YESSES. My friends and I stopped here on our way to Leavenworth a few weekends ago--wanting some place inexpensive and quick, and this place was both. And had awesome food to boot. Food poisoning. Once upon a time this was my favorite taco truck. At some point it apparently went under new management. There used to be two younger looking guys working inside the truck but at some point they were replaced my an older looking woman and man. We would order ~20 tacos to bring home to our family of 6 every other week or so. When I would order the woman seemed to be annoyed at the size or our order. I was never rude when ordering and always tipped well. Over time I noticed the quality decrease; we would see large strips of fat under our carnitas in the tacos. Shortly after I ate there again and got horrible food poisoning. I had very painful stomach cramps for days plus all the other symptoms. Because of the previous incidents I somewhat believe they made me sick on purpose. read more

OMG! You just cant get a better burrito for $3.50 anywhere? HUGE and full of all the good stuff. These guys have a secret. They're hiding a gold mine of goodness in that little taco truck! This is one of my top two in Monroe. I typically get either the carnitas or the adovada burrito or tacos. But I have been known to get asada from time to time too. The meat is flavorful and plentiful, veggies fresh, tortillas properly sized and fillings on point. I'm still working my way through their menu but I haven't had a meal from there I didn't like yet. The prices are right and service is super friendly. Salsa verde is perfect. Make sure you know when they are on site so you're not disappointed. read more

They never get my order right.I always leave a generous tip and they always manage to screw it up ! Seems like they show up when they want and never stick to the hours and days their supposed to be there . I'm done with this place . Eating out with kids can be pricey and Tacos Pihuamo is one of our go-to places! This is our favorite taco truck in Monroe. My favorite is the tacos - beef or chicken. Our kids love the burritos. The meat was very bland. I ordered buche, adobada and cabeza. I honestly didn't like them I was very disappointed especially because i went there for their tripa and lengua and they didnt even have any!!! The salsa were ok but the tacos made me feel sick my stomach has been upset for 5 hours already! I would not recommend this place to any family or friends read more

Love love love this place. We first discovered it while remodeling our house in 2006 when we needed a quick bite to eat. I love the chicken burrito (still my favorite) it was $3.00 then and has only gone up $1.00 in 7 years, still an AWESOME deal. Excellent service and great food. I moved here from San Diego a year ago and this is the only place out of all the Mexican places in Monroe that actually reminds me of a true Mexican food great job I've been there several times now and will continue to go there! They have a cozy heated outdoor dining area that was perfectly comfortable and warm on our visit on a 50 degree day. A great find in downtown Monroe.. The customer service is top notch. They greeted me immediately and answered questions. I ordered two carne asada burritos. I loved mine. It was hot and fresh. The beans were perfect without any nastertaste. The meat was flavorful and didn't have any fatty chunks or gristle. My wife did not like it as much due to the texture of the meat. In her opinion, the texture was too dry and stringy. Due to her opinion, I can only give 4 stars since it wasn't perfect. We both loved the salsas provided. We will go again, but she will try a different meat for her burrito. read more

I love this taco truck! The thing that sets this place apart from the others is their spicy tomatillo sauce. After eating here a few times, I tried making this sauce on my own at home for months. This is (in my opinion) the best taco truck in town. I go there about 1-2 times a week. The thing that I order the most is tacos de lengua (tongue). I prefer drinking the horchata because it's not too sweet but it's just sweet enough to beat the thirst. I love this taco truck so much I don't go to any other taco trucks. They just aren't the same compared to this taco truck and Taco Bell is nothing compared to this truck now. I would rate this (out of ten) a 9.7 but yelp only let's me go to 5. I wish they had punch cards like the coffee stands so that People could get rewards at the end of the month If they had 12 hole punches or something like that. I have seen a pizza guy go to this taco truck and to me it was funny. I just wish that they stay open till about 10 or something. read more

SUCH GOOD TACOS! I drive into Everett for school twice a week and pass through Monroe so I have to make an excuse to NOT stop and grab some tacos. They are loaded with meat and the salsas are also really tasty. I once had their burrito and wasn't very impressed with it. Maybe it was because I'm not used to having jalapeños in burritos which is the way they offer it... The taqueria also doesn't offer sour cream which is a must for me in a burrito. I would suggest to give more options of things to add to the burrito. read more
