Tamales were HARD and so was my rice.

I've been to this location, a few times. Their drinks are strong, but that's really the only good thing here, especially when all of the other El Paraiso locations serve up such delicious food! This last time, I think our server was OVER IT, it's like he wanted to get away from us, as fast as possible. He'd seem disinterested and miss a few drinks orders. Their food always seems dryer, than the other locations too. At least their desserts were good.

Needed to find a place for a late lunch and the ACLS game number 5 just started. We were glad the bar area was big and they have so many big screens for every patron to have a great view and audio of the game. The atmosphere was very welcoming with lots of natural lighting and the lake in the background with lots of customers coming and going. The waiter and busboy were very prompt and checked on us. I also enjoyed the homemade tortilla snack at the entry way. The sweet lady asked if you want salsa and rolled up the warm tortilla in paper as a hand held snack as you get situated. I wouldn't mind having 10 more they were yummy. The chips, salsa, and bean dip were delish and plentiful and the busboy was glad to offer a refill. Enjoyed the happy hour bar food offering it's offered every day I believe from 3-5 or 3-6 for $2 off the listed price. I had 2 big fish tacos for $8.95 as an app but it may as well be my meal. So fresh! The large chicken tortilla soup for $16.95 was loaded with grilled chicken ... perfect for a chilly day. I liked the avocados and the good flavor of the soup. We liked it was not an overpowering flavor. The broth tasted very natural and homey. My hubby enjoyed his enchilada meal. Glad they serve zero percent alcohol and the virgin pina colada was sure delish. The hostess and manager were super friendly as we walked out. Will return again. This place is solid.

Friends found this spot and went with them to check it out. It's inside looks like a business building. Walk inside and you see the place right inside you. Music playing and your greeted and taken to your seat. Full bar inside of you drink alcohol. They have a lake or something in the back and it's a nice atmosphere. I ordered a burrito plate. Burrito was good as well as everything else. If you're in the area and want some Mexican food stop by.

THE BEST OF THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD!! Top notch and great. Amazing deals and large portions. Amazing service and friendly staff. The atmosphere and ambience is perfect for family and friends to enjoy.

This was obviously meant to be a more upscale Mexican restaurant with a lake view (well, Lake Tye view at least). And it's okay for that, but the food is average at best. I don't get all the super positive reviews. In Yelp world, three stars is OK, and this place is just that--just okay. Food was okay. Nothing more. Not a destination type place to seek out. Unless you want the "lake" views.

Large parties can be easily accommodated with ample sized table tops. There are several beers on draft to choose from as well as a full bar. During my visit I slurped on a couple Nock it Back Hazy IPA's for $4 (hh). My bestie and I shared a 3-topping pizza for $15.99. Service is friendly but slow. Slow as in understaffed so be patient. Only one gal on shift would wore many hats: server, bartender, cook and hostess.

Our destination was the Route 2 Taproom, as it sounded interesting, and we've never been. We arrived, and it was what we were expecting, a very nice indoor seating area with quite a few tables, and a very nice outdoor patio. We chose the patio, which had a self service walk up bar. Just made it convenient and you didn't have to wait for someone to come to your table. My wife chose the fish and chips, which you'll see in the photo were very abundant, and cooked very nicely with a modest amount of fries, in my opinion, I would've liked more. The flavor was really good. I chose the chicken wings, which I was told I could pick multiple flavors, I chose the sweet chili, and the lemon pepper. Really like the sweet chili, the lemon pepper... well, was much too lemony. The beer selection here was quite extensive, we chose one of the lighter session IPAs, which was quite good. Overall, the staff was very friendly, engaging, and did a great job of taking care of everybody while we were there. I will definitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood. Thank you

Service is just unbelievably sweet and friendly and they clearly know their way around a drink menu. In long Not what you'd expect in Snohomish, and that's very much to its credit. It's a nondescript little building with no signage at all. You can probably roll a wheelchair in over the transom, though the sidewalk is a little slopy here. You open the door, push aside the curtain, and wait for your eyes to adjust. Super dim inside. The bar is right across from the door, flanked by 2 seating areas. Antique furniture and wall art, going for that 1920s look and doing it very well--while also keeping it comfortable for long sits. The crowd isn't trying to match the period clothing or anything, it's just a bunch of fun younger Snohomies hanging out and drinking cocktails. The bartender hands you a menu of a dozen and a half cocktails, mostly vintage, vintage-sounding, or using vintage ingredients or techniques (e.g., 3 different offerings with egg whites). Prices are fair enough, and they bring out your drink when it's ready. Vintage-looking glassware--cool! There's another big room past the bar, lots of Edison bulbs here and there, but not so many as to create even a hint of glare anywhere. There's a washroom in the far corner, definitely big enough to be accessible. Now I can't remember whether there were grab bars. The ceilings in here are all different heights, most covered with pressed tin. Nice effect. There's one window that hasn't been covered, so a little natural light gets in. It was kind of fun trying to imagine what kinds of businesses might have been in here before it became a speakeasy. There's a staircase to a small loft office space. Overall, if you're antique shopping or just out and about in Snoho, this is a good stop and you should check it out at least once. Really nice vibe. They allow outside food--one table ran around the corner for pizzas and brought them back in. I'll come back for sure.

Food menu is narrow, offering savory and sweet pie choices. My wife sipped on a Jameson on the rocks for $9 while I sipped on a glass of A'ki Cab for $10. For dinner my wife chose the Steak Pie for $16: flank steak, onions, garlic, potatoes, peas, carrots and cream of mushroom sauce. Served with a Rocket Beet side salad. My wife did not like that her salad was served on the same plate as her pie since it was unavoidable that the dressing would end up touching her pie. I chose the Chicken Pie for $14: chicken, onions, garlic, red potatoes, peas, carrots and a cream sauce. Served with a Rocket Beet side salad. Comfort in each bite. Remember what life was like before yelp? We just went places 'cause they looked cool, tried restaurants 'cause they looked nice or someone recommended it... but now, most of us go on Yelp. Why? Monroe, Washington, April 2026…read more This colorful building is located on the main street in downtown Monroe. The minute you walk in you are greeted immediately. An older gentleman and a younger guy were quick to tell us we could sit wherever we wanted as it was a Sunday evening. Booths line the wall and there are about four tables in the middle of the restaurant. Very small, but very colorful and extremely friendly staff. We were quickly asked for a drink order and they brought chips and salsa. The chips were a perfect thin yet crunchy texture. The salsa was very flavorful. It had chunks of onions and lots of cilantro. However, I wish the salsa was spicier. We both ordered chicken and beef enchiladas à la crema. The presentation was nice and I'm so glad there was no lettuce decorating my plate. My whole beans came in a little tortilla cup but the rice lacked flavor. It taste more like a puréed risotto. The enchiladas were covered in the cream sauce that also had cheese. There was no flavor to the cream sauce and the chicken was extremely dry. I liked the flavor of the whole beans. They don't give you a full basket of chips when you sit down. So we asked for more as they were delicious. But then we received only a quarter of a basket this second time. They don't post prices of the soda or the drinks. When we inquired to see a bar menu, they said they had none that we could order anything we want. We asked the price of a particular drink and he said don't worry. When I receive my bill, my non alcoholic bottle of Heineken was $7.25. I think that is outrageous for a nonalcoholic beer. I will give this place three stars because the chicken was tough and dry. The cream sauce was boring and the salsa needs spice.
