One of the best burritos I've ever had. Wonderful customer service as well. Reasonably priced and delicious!

We stopped in on a busy night after a long day of skiing. The service was great, and we didn't have to wait long despite a large number of to go orders and a few people in front of us in line. It's not fancy, but the portions are big and the employees are friendly. I do think the ingredients could have been better, but a lot of the lower rated reviews were too harsh. I LOVE this place. It's a little bit of a hike from my house and in the opposite direction of the places I usually go, but whenever I come here it's a treat. They have lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten-free stuff. The nachos are delicious and the burritos are HUGE. Everything is affordable and super tasty. You can do better in Ludlow. The taco's and burritos are okay, nothing special. I felt like I could have thrown them together in my own kitchen, and my cooking skills are pretty deficient. They were just veggies, meat and cheese tossed and rolled in whichever size wrap you order. Maybe they forgot to season everything that morning, but by reading the other reviews, I doubt it. Also, I think it came to something like $15-20 per person, which is outrageous for what we ordered. In a town full of funky mom & pop restaurants, there's more flavor to be had. read more

Tacos Tacos? Yeah, I know it. I' ve been making special trips to vermont for about a decade and a half just to come here. And, we have a standing order to bring back burritos for the friends that couldn't make it. Some of the most famous chefs eat their "favorite" burgers by the sack full at fast food places. Why, because it hits the spot and brings back the nostalgia. Despite, some of the other posts within, the food here is made fresh daily and they are steaming tortillas - not heating stuff up in ovens. Yes, the nacho cheese is canned. and I have yet to find a nice hunk or wheel of nacho cheese at my local artisan cheese shop. They aren't melting Cabot over the tortillas just because they are in Vermont - and that's just awesome. Who suggested shredding chicken and frying tacos meat to order for the masses? You'll miss the point of this place completely. This IS a now frills taco stand that also provides some indoor seating, AC, and a bathroom. Now, you gotta try the chicken nachos. Or the everything nachos. Or any burrito... I actually only order a taco at T2 on rare occasions. You can expect foil wrapped/lined deliciousness in cardboard trays on your way to a warm tummy. If you are looking to travel ask for the salsa to be well drained and add the rice. Lay flat and rotate half way to your destination. :) read more

Ate here 5/6 years ago and it was awesome. Today horrible. No fresh ingredients. No Mexican spicing at all. very bland. Taco salad was iceberg lettuce in a paper boat with some stuff & seemingly processed chicken. Ortega taco shell split in half on top. Chips & salsa seemed to be discount variety (maybe from Shaw across the street.). Burrito with chicken very bland and no rice or beans. You'll get more for less at Taco Bell. I don't mind music while I'm eating, but gal working had her style playing pretty loud. We could hardly hold a conversation. read more

CASH ONLY!! That right make sure to have cash they don't take cards. That's a bit of pain but food is good and fair price. This is is not an authentic Mexican style it more of a American blend if making them at home. However food is good and worth a stop on way home from the mountain. read more

Came here on the way back home from the mountain and it was definitely a good choice. The food was fresh, the place was clean, and the food was even tasty. One less star because their chips are Tostitos and they're not out of this world good, but it's cheap for a pretty good quality. I'm glad we went here and I honestly would come back. read more

Tacos Tacos is the best! Friendly staff and fantastic food and service. They are one of the few places that are open later in the evening in town. Their hours are always consistent so it doesn't leave you guessing if they are open or not. Their Mexican chocolate brownies are amazing, and vegan!! read more

Not that good - and overpriced. The shredded chicken has no real taste. The nachos are the worst - you are really better off making one yourself at home with Kraft or Velveta cheese. The Salad with chicken was close to $8 and this had no taste. I can get better chopped salad in NYC for that much. It was boiled tasting shredded chicken with iceberg lettuce and taco cheese and onions and some black olive slivers from a can. Chicken burrito was just as bland and no cilantro, no garlic flavor, no Mexican taste. Our kids would not eat any of it. read more

I dont know where to start... Two ladies behind the counter couldnt even fake interest or a smile to greet us. When asked a question, told us to look at the board description, which wasnt clear. Food was worse than taco bell... Not joking. 0 seasoning, totally uninspired, obviously whoever cooked it lacks any sort of passion towards mexican food or food in general.... Who opens a mexican place that has no idea how to cook...? Google some recipes and at least try... I dont write a lot of reviews but the overall poor experience inspired me to warn others. You can buy better seasoned beans or meat at shaws across the street and make your own with spice packets.... Sad because good location and town. read more

The reviewer with the rant is right on the mark. We were served rotten guacamole and the salsa was tomato sauce from a can. A quick google search would yield a better salsa recipe. Mediocre at best, basically a local Taco Bell :( It was extremely hot and uncomfortable when we went so that didn't help. I didn't feel too well the following morning either. All that said, I cannot recommend this place, especially when there are other excellent local options around! read more

Dependable vegan-friendly fare. We stop at Tacos Tacos after kayaking a lot. I order the Taco Salad (hold the flesh, cheese & sour cream), and add refried beans & Spanish rice, and a side of guacamole. The homemade salsa is tasty. read more

Got the Tacos... guess I should have listened to the locals. I can say that it's been years since I've eaten at Taco Bell and that their quality of food is much worse than Taco's Taco's, however I just can't give this establishment that MUCH credit. It's very mediocre food but its sold at a very mediocre price - so I guess it goes hand in hand. read more

This place was just okay. We tried a beef and bean burrito and a variety of different tacos. The chicken taco was terrible and tasted like nothing - could have been canned chicken??? The pros were that the food was served really fast and there were available tables to choose from. The prices were also fairly reasonable....still possibly too expensive for the quality of food that was actually being served though. read more

Ya know what sucks. This place's food and prices. It's too bad, too, because Ludlow has some good local places around Okemo Mountain to hit up on the way to and from a good snowboarding trip. This place's food is pretty average (I'm sure they rely on hunger and tiredness and convenience more than anything) and the prices are kinda high even though it's all psychologically priced and $2.63 or whatever the hell it is. Canned Nacho Cheese like school lunch nachos, bland, dry chicken, they "make everything to order" meaning, they take all the ingredients out of the warmers and throw your order together in 20 seconds like taco bell. Been here a few times on the way back from snowboarding and have not had a bad experience. So what they only take cash and have soda. What are people expecting from the place? Its not going to be authentic mexican cuisine, thats not who the business caters too. I always get the beef burrito and its always fine for me. The Fairfield county folk need to go and eat at some overpriced place. If you want terrible food for super expensive prices eat at the ski resorts. read more

Fam of 4 visited 3 days ago. HORRIBLE! Nachos had that cheap yellow-orange cheese that you get at the ballfield. Chips were stale with no other condiments. They really do not understand that you need to use some spices to even begin to be called Mexican. My burrito was tasteless, sloppily put together and could have been made by a 9 yr old. These guys simply do not try very hard, and it shows. Complete waste of money. There are other quality taco/burrito establishments in town that do much better. read more

I honestly don't understand the positive reviews? It really wasn't good. I got nachos with stale chips and obviously store bought nacho cheese. The chicken taco had no flavor. The beef taco also had little flavor. Like someone else said, tasted like cafeteria food. read more

I joined Yelp to write this one review. After eating a burrito at Taco's Taco's I had the worst case of food poisoning to date. The worst. After talking with friends I learned that they also had fallen ill after dining here. Please don't eat at this place!
