We are in town and visiting relatives and on our way from the airport to Las Cruces I wanted a quick Margarita and taco. You won't get a margarita here or even a Cerveza but what you will get is freaking amazing. I have the Barbacoa tacos my husband and the Carnitas and we also shared the chorizo queso all outstanding. I absolutely love the big potato and the green salsa with the vegetables they serve at the start. They also have the best beans in the area ‍

Second time here and I love it. First time I got res (beef) tacos (not to be confused w/ground beef). 4 to and order w 1/2 avocado and garnish. Sorry no pics but they were $7.99 Today we brought my grandma and it was 4 of us. We ordered for 5. The parrillada for 5 $41.99 (depending on your appetite this can feed more than 5) but it is served with (5) baked potatoes , queso fundido, long green chile, jalapeño, grilled onions and they give you complementary beans to start. They also serve red, green and a guacamole style salsas with chips. Currently this establishment is BYOB (winning!). I ordered my lemonade to go cause the cup is huge and I never drink my whole drink while eating anyway. I had to order flan, one of my favorite desserts ever and you can tell it's homemade which is crucial. Definitely recommend this place but be warned that during the lunch rush you will have to be patient.

This place is hidden behind a gas station so it is not noticeable from the main road. There went many inside and there was plenty of room for groups. I had not been here before, but we chose the Parrilas for two. It included 2 meats, grilled onions jalapeños and green chilies, queso Fundido with rajas ( grilled cheese with chiles) and baked potatoes with butter. Served with tiny corn tortillas. There were 3 different salas to add to your meal and of course tostadas. So you make your own soft tacos and enjoy! There was plenty for 3 of us and some to take home. Very good.

I don't know why it took me so long to finally eat at one of these locations. I was really pleased. Got the carne asada tacos with queso and they're really damn good! Especially with the salsa they give you. Their guacamole sauce is super tasty with the tacos! And their chips. They also allow BYOB! I was going to order a michelada but they said I needed to have my own beer which is bonus!

Greeting and seating was quick as we walked in the door. We were served complimentary chips and three types of salsa. For my lunch meal, I ordered the al pastor Tacos and they were really good. Price was $7 for 4 tacos. Service was friendly and fast. Everyone at our table all enjoyed their tacos. I would go back again if I am around the area.

Beans and rice on the side are optional / modest extra charge - they are usually very good and worth adding if you're hungry enough. My favorite sauce is the Chipotle. It's got heat as it's also creamy...I would call it medium (I like spicy food.) If you're getting them to go, you might want the sauce and toppings on the side. They usually ask about that, but occasionally they might forget. Service is usually friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Your food is made to order, so it's fast but not instantaneous. Allow 5-10 minutes for pickup most of the time. The dining room is medium-sized. I would say it's a place to eat and go, not stay and linger.

We ordered the flautas with chipotle sauce and the chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing. We added a runny egg since we couldn't do chicken, and it gave the dish extra flavor and a good boost of protein. The flautas (which I'd honestly describe more as taquitos dorados) were crunchy and tasty. We liked the chipotle sauce that came with them, but we actually loved dipping them into the chilaquile sauce even more. Overall, it was a great spot to grab breakfast before hitting the road again for many more hours. Highly recommend!

I bumped it up to four stars for the super friendly service and the excellent aguas frescas. We got there late, about an hour before closing and they were literally trying to get rid of the aguas for free. I guess they have to dump it if they don't use it all. It was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. Portion sizes are good. The taco platter comes with six tacos! I had the flautas Chinampa which came with four beef flautas, beans, rice, and salad. I forgot, the taco platter even came with a baked potato. Prices were excellent. We had gone to McDonald's in the morning and spent more. They also cave us frijoles charros for free. Not sure if this was standard or if they were also trying to get rid of it. I would return for the service and the convenience, but if you're looking for life changing Mexican cuisine, it's not here. What you get is a good amount of decent food at a good price served by great people.

Had multiple thousand Google reviews and they were all close to five stars. So I knew I had to check it out. It was super close to my hotel, so I popped in the car and found it without trouble. Trouble. Again, there is pretty limited parking so it's kind of hit and miss whether you'll find a spot or not. Fortunately, I did. When you walk up to the place, the building itself is pretty nondescript. They have a nice selection of outside seating, and your window to order is outside. Very nice lady at the counter gave me helpful suggestions and so I ordered three tacos and an amazing lime and cucumber fresca. Went in and sat down inside and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It definitely had more of an upscale bar vibe to it than a Taco shop. The waiter that brought out my tacos told me that it turns into more of a nightclub after hours. I may have to go check that out. The tacos themselves were absolutely off the chain! The tortillas were blue corn and everything on it tasted so fresh and so wonderful. The carnitas was fantastic, the brisket Taco was to die for and the blackened shrimp Taco was one of the best I've ever had. Had. The flavors were so balanced and on point, it was one of the most satisfying taco experiences I have had!! I will probably hit this place up a couple more times before I leave El Paso. If you are in El Paso, you probably already know about this place. But I'm telling you what you cannot go wrong for tacos and that lime/ cucumber fresca! Bottom line? It's about 10 hours drive from Las Vegas to El Paso. And this Taco shop will give me a great reason to do a road trip anytime. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out!
