I ordered tacos with asada, al pastor, and cabeza, and everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. While ordering, I asked the cashier what her favorite item was, and she recommended the Birriongo--and let me tell you, she did not steer me wrong. It's a delicious combination of birria de res, a crispy tortilla, queso, and curtido-style onions... absolutely incredible. They also have a little salad bar with all the fixings--four different salsas, fresh onions, carrots, and rábanos--and everything tasted super fresh. Honestly, it puts places like Sizzler to shame (if you know, you know!). Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for fresh, flavorful food straight from the oven. I drove past this location many times and I finally made it inside. A partial fast made me mighty hungry! I noticed the similarities to the other locations in Corona and Riverside, although this is the smallest one inside. Similar artwork, menu, salsa bar... anyhow, I was mostly interested in a carne asada burrito after trying other house specialties such as the Gringa, with al pastor, and tacos. I found both employees on duty to be friendly and professional, and my order came out quickly, too. The burrito was pretty big and I doctored it with fresh limes and the roasted salsas, red and green. Trying to roll it back together made it a little larger and sloppy but that's why they invented forks, right? And Shout Wipes, yeah, i made a mess. The meat is excellent! I also really like their whole beans, and guacamole. Overall, this sat lighter in the belly than comparable burritos from favorite places, and more importantly, it inspires me to go back for more sooner than later. We thought it was going to be just another taco joint like all the others we were pleasantly surprised. The menu is a bit different than your usual taco spot. Yes you can get the usual mix of Asada, Al Pastor etc. But for a real treat try their special tacos. The Guero Panzón is a delicious combination of Chicken, Chile Guero, mushrooms and Mexican cheese. My wife had the Birria tacos and the Delicado. A meatless taco with zucchini flowers, mushrooms and Mexican cheese. Finally something different than the flood of predictable taco spots in the IE. We are definitely going back to try some of the other specials. My one tiny criticism, lower the music a little. Some of us old timers like to have conversations as we eat. We have been to this restaurant many, many times. The food is always flavorful and delicious but today proved to be a great disappointment and not due to the quality of food but the lack of food safety guidelines that were not followed. This taco de Al pastor, purchased today, 7/24/24, had a new and dangerous ingredient, a large, and unsanitary, safety pin. It was discovered as my mother was bitting into it and suddenly felt a hard object. She at first believed it was a bone as she pulled it out of her mouth. It sadly was not. This Taco Stand was at one point a good representation for the community. However upon this visit you go in and do restaurant is not clean at all there's only one person working there so I find it very impossible for that person to you take orders, cook, and clean up the restaurant. On top of that the prices are outrageous for a taco. $28 for six tacos is absolutely ridiculous. So ultimately shame on me for paying that price but that's will be the last time that I frequent this location because you can't convince me that based on the portion size and the quality of food that six tacos should be $28. read more

Food is authentic and no flor on the asada at all. My husband got the tots and they weren't good. The torta was ok but I think because the guac beans and the salsas gave it most of the flavor. My kids each hit tacos de asada and we had to stop at waba grill on the way home because they didn't eat the tacos.
