A Saturday afternoon, a little after 1 PM. I said that every time I visit the area I'm bringing a new person to Bubba's Tacos. We were greeted with the same top hospitality. And my friend was excited to that Bubba was there too. He was so nice to take pictures with us. You know you've picked a good meal if a person is making sounds and humming while they chew. We were at Ontario Mills shopping and got hungry. We walked through the food court, but nothing tempted our taste buds. Hubby was craving tacos so he did a search on the best tacos in the area. His search, turned up Bubbas Tacos. So... off we went. A friendly gentlemen greeted us warmly and asked how he could help. (Found it later that it was none other than Bubba himself) Told him this was our first visit and asked how do we order. He said let me put up my menu and show you. First he said you know today is Taco Tuesday so that is the talk of the day. But...if you don't feel like tacos, these are my favs. I think there were 3...but I only remember the first one. I got stuck on nachos and that was his #1 recommendation next to tacos. I was going to order 2 with a side a rice. He chuckled and said rice is a filler...go for the protein. Hubby shrugged and and said she always orders rice. Bubba suggested I get 3 tacos instead since they are small. They may be small, but they are filled with a generous portion of meat. I ordered their 3 taco combo, with your choice of chicken, beef, or shrimp. It normally comes with beans and rice but I opted for fries instead. The beef was beautifully seasoned, with the perfect hint of spiciness. Thought the tacos were small, they were overloaded with beef (so I'm not complaining), onions, and cilantro. Bubba's Tacos absolutely deserves all five stars. Bubba himself is an amazing caterer, and the quality of both the food and the service was outstanding. We had an unexpected issue at our venue and weren't able to have the food prepared onsite as planned. Without hesitation, Bubba stepped in, went back to his restaurant just 10 minutes away, prepared everything fresh, and returned within 30 minutes. Despite the chaos, all of the food was still served right on time. The tacos were excellent, the presentation was great, and the professionalism and kindness Bubba showed throughout the entire situation went far above and beyond.
