My husband and I walked in to a super friendly cashier, she walked us through the menu. It was pretty quiet since no one else was in when we arrived but the music was great, and the place is modestly decorated. The serving sizes are decent. My husband had the three tacos, all had great flavor but his favorite was definitely the shrimp taco. I definitely enjoyed the bulgogi burrito, the slaw and rice meddled well with the beef. The restaurant is very clean and I liked the small condiment area where I could get sauces to go. Service was very friendly - the main order station was down, but the employee showed us how to use the self order kiosk. I ordered the protein bowl with birria and added queso. The size of this meal is deceiving in the container - it is huge! This is my second review of this place but i have to do it. My first was over 2 yrs ago and all positive. HAD to come on here because im just so shocked at how the customer service was today. We had a large order(our office order) and my coworker walks in and immediately the what i assume to be the owner says" oh the picky order" nothing we ordered was crazy we just didn't want raw onion on two of the orders. He doesn't ask us if we want an additional sauces just "everything is in the bag". Two of the orders are completely wrong. We get chicken instead of asada. We called and they purposely did not answer, my coworker shows up and they are LAUGHING and say "what they don't like chicken" not the point we ordered asada. Im just speechless and in shock that we were treated and talked to in this rude manor. Totally uncalled for. This was my local go-to taco spot, as I live 200 yards away, I was so happy to have found them until I went one day and the owner was super rude to me while ordering, for no reason. I said "Can I get steak picado?" And he rolls his eyes, makes a face and bluntly says "steak picado what??" and shakes his head in annoyance. Was in town liked the images on the yelp page and was nearby, disappointed that when I walked in for a vegetarian breakfast burrito staff wouldn't accommodate whatsoever. She said they can when it's lunch time but not breakfast. Pretty wild to me she was not willing to keep the meat off, I can have the rest of the ingredients in it. I'm gonna be transparent- I walked in here thinking this was the vegan Mexican spot, Veggie y que. When I saw meat on the menu, they almost lost me until the lady at the counter greeted us and explained that they had mushroom tacos that just got added to the menu. So even though I didn't intend to eat here, good job on having a veggie option and engaging with us as soon as we walked in! The mushroom tacos were great - cooked just enough to still be juicy and topped with guacamole and pickled onions. Add more Salsa and lime to your liking. The tacos are on the pricey side, but food is generally getting expensive! The cucumber Agua Fresca they have is refreshing, but served in a Styrofoam cup (boo!).
