Oh man, I'm bummed it took me so long to try this place. It was great!! I had the pastor (they make theirs with pineapple-my favorite!), Asada and Bulgogi. The tacos were big, the tortillas were fresh and tender. Each of the meats were delicious. They each came with a little fried cheese at the base. The staff were really cool. It's a great place for a taco. You can definitely see and taste that they aim to please!

We got al pastor taco, asada taco, al pastor burrito, al pastor nachos, and asada protein bowl. Everything was delicious, you can't go wrong! The meats are well seasoned and tender, but the al pastor is unforgettable. My al pastor taco came with corn tortilla and it's not too thick, perfectly chewy. The asada taco came with flour tortilla and it had a really good bite to it. The tacos were packed with meat and toppings which was awesome. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking. Can't wait to go back and try their other offerings!

Heart of Whittier spot that definitely delivers. It's my first time here and the food is so good, service is wonderful, the carne asada is seasoned just right, super flavorful and not dry at all. The pickled onions? Obsessed. They add the perfect tangy kick. The al pastor was a standout too amazing seasoning with that hint of pineapple that gives it the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The ambiance is pretty chill and they do have an inside dining area. Will definitely come back when I'm in LA.

Tried Tacos Y Que after seeing all the great Yelp reviews, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the asada burrito, and it was solid--well-balanced, flavorful, and satisfying without being overly heavy. You can tell they pay attention to quality and execution. The shop itself is neat and clean, with a simple setup. Customer service was minimal but still friendly and efficient, which worked fine for me. The only small drawback was the beans in the burrito--I personally prefer refried over whole beans, but that's just a personal preference and didn't take away much from the overall experience. Overall, a great spot that's worth checking out if you're in the area. I'd definitely come back to try more items.

Stopped by here on Saturday morning and im so glad I finally came to give it a try. The employees were so nice and welcoming. I ordered the burrito without the syrup and the guy recommended I at least try it on the side. The grilled onions in the burrito gave it such a unique flavor and even more so with the syrup. It was surprisingly really good with the syrup and their assortment of salsa.

I've had this place bookmarked for a while and was excited when I was in the area because I was able to finally try this place. Walking in you are greeted by the intoxicating aromas of the delicious food. The staff is very friendly, inviting, and helpful when you are indecisive because everything looks delicious. I opted for a mulita because it's a cross between a taco and quesadilla. Every single one I have had has always been different and unique so I couldn't wait to try this one. For the meat option, I chose carne asada because I wanted to check out the quality and flavor. It certainly did not disappoint because not only was the mulita packed with flavor, but the carne asada was meaty and delicious. I couldn't decide which salsa was better. Both the red and green salsas tasted great as is and on the mulita. Next time I definitely plan on trying the birria. The restaurant was clean. Prices are reasonable considering they give you plenty of meat and toppings. There is plenty of parking on the side of the restaurant if you don't find any in front. There are kiosks that you can order from. If one isn't working, the staff is kind enough to take your order. Overall, my tastebuds enjoyed this place and I look forward to my next visit! Thank you again!

My wife and I came to have a taco dinner and we were happy we chose this spot. Good food and quality tacos. Highly recommend.

"They just hit different " Restaurant quality meets street tacos - this spot is a must try! Me and my fiancé tried this place on a random Saturday night after seeing them on instagram, now we found a new favorite taco spot in Whittier. We tried the asada tacos, which were amazing with the guacamole. The birria tacos were amazing! I just wish I had a side of consume to dip it in but it was still very juicy. BUT the al pastor stole the show. Both the taco and quesadilla were equally delicious! The rice and beans were okay I'd take the beans over the rice but we're here for tacos. You pay what you get for! Tacos with MEAT! Is it more expensive than a street taco? Yes! But you're in a well lit building with AC and a table to eat at. If you ever been to puesto in Irvine the flavor of the meats are very similar just with more meat and cheaper price. Over all great service the cashier was able to help us order and she was very patient with us! She even brought our food directly to our table!

Asada Fries!! So good always fresh. Definitely reccomend.

If you want great food with great service check out Tacos Y Que. Asada Fries are lawyer good. The asada nachos are awesome to.

My tacos were super greasy, dripping oil, and didn't taste very fresh. I was surprised how high ratings this place has.

Any gf options or corn Tortilla?

They have an alternative to their signature flour tortilla . It's a yellow corn tortilla. Their chips are also gluten free

    Are there gluten free options?

I think so. They do keto style tacos.

    Any vegan options?

Mushroom tacos are now available. Request no cheese, pero they asked us if we still wanted the cheese.

I see the hours are a little off so I'm hoping you guys are still opened (LOL) so my question is what are your business hours (please say until 8pm!)?

Fri-Sat 3pm 11pm (Whitter Brewing location) Sun 12-6pm (Whitter Brewing location) Wed 430pm-9pm…

Does anyone know if they are open for business today May Friday 20th at the Hadley location?

No, we have a big event tomorrow (Saturday, May 21). Keep an eye on our Instagram for all updates. Thank you!

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.

(See attached picture). This restaurant is in such an obscure location, I can't believe I was going to a Burrito Track across the street for so many years not knowing this place existed. Friendly staff and prompt service. The unfortunate negative is it's location and I'm referring to parking. There must be 8 business crammed into this lot. With a bar to the right and a laudermat on its left finding a parking spot is like winning the lotto. Now layer in one driveway and you have to make a 3 point turn just to navigate to leave. The short answer is I will absolutely go back to this place as long as there is a parking space to be had.
