2 choriqueso tacos 1 pastor 1 carnitas They were out of asada.

I wish my city, which is predominately Mexican, 30 minutes from here had a taco place that would be half as good as this taco truck. Jesus Christ, it is delicious. I could eat this everyday. well worth the obesity and heartburn. If you're near by , come and enjoy it.

    2 pastor, 2 asada, 1 carnitas.

We love Daniel! My coworker and I come here often and have been for almost a year. The service is quick, and the vibes are nice. The food will speak for itself. The tacos are absolutely delicious! The carnitas, al pastor, and asada are my go to and I ask for grilled onions. The salsas are also yummy! Definitely recommend. One thing I strongly suggest you do is call or reach out to them on IG because they sometimes move around or aren't in the usual spot but that's it. Prices are fair.

Welp! I was nowhere near this place when my grandma, on the way back from her doctors appointment, near the Orange Circle, said "I think I want tacos for lunch today!" Being that we were in Orange on our way to Irvine and knowing that the only good taco places are in Santa Ana, I quickly got to work on Yelp while I was driving (don't come for me). Looking ahead on my GPS I saw that I needed to go towards Delamo motorsports and floor and decor but I have been to both of these places plenty of times and never remembered a taco shop nearby..... but I'm also the same person who gets lost five minutes from the house so....... Anyway, I find a taco truck in the corner of the parking lot and I get out. It's a cute little trailer with two guys, EZ up in front with plastic tables and chairs, cooler with cold drinks and a little salsa selection next to the truck. Def Nothing fancy but there are a couple of people waiting for food and another guy attempting to cross the parking lot and coming toward us so I'm feeling pretty good about my decision so far. Grandma got two Carnitas tacos and I got a carne Asada burrito to go (we still needed to get back to GM's house and I needed to pee!) so it was at least 20 minutes before she ate and another 15 for me to get home and eat. Despite the delay and the food was wrapped up in plastic the food still ended up being phenomenal. Grandma loved the tacos that came with pickled carrots and a huge jalapeño and radishes. And I'm pretty sure there has to be lard in those refried beans in my burrito because it was to die for! Burritos are $13-$15 for a mediocre result so I was super impressed with the size and flavor I got for $10. I will be coming back VERY soon!

Asada burrito. 2 Al pastor tacos, 1 chorizo taco.

We never heard it called, though we clearly heard other numbers and saw employees actively delivering food to other tables. After 15 minutes, I went inside to check on our food. Our order was just sitting on the counter. When I checked the tacos, the meat wasn't just lukewarm--it was completely cold to the touch. When I caught the cashier's eye, he just gave me a thumbs-up. When I told him the food was cold, the cashier, Irvin, immediately got defensive and told me with an attitude, 'I called the number twice.' I explained that we didn't hear it, and pointed out that staff had been bringing food out to everyone else anyway. Instead of offering a solution, he doubled down, saying, 'I heard my voice over the speakers,' giving me a 'too bad, so sad' look. When I asked him to remake the food, he completely refused, repeating that he'd called the number. Unwilling to argue with someone that unprofessional, I told him to keep the cold food and just give me a refund. He refunded the money and we left. Absolutely terrible service from Irvin--we won't be back."

It is the perfect spot for a date night out, especially in the summer. We ordered carne crudo, castacan, cochinita pibil, and beignets for dessert. For a drink I got a pineapple tamarind agua fresca that was a perfect combination. I really enjoyed everything we ate here. 3 dishes was enough to feed 2. The standout was the cochinita pibil. I do wish we got a little variety and picked a different dish instead of getting 2 pork dishes but both the cochnita pibil and castacan were highly recommended by a friend. The beignets and the dipping sauces were delicious . The dough was so fluffy. The service was great and we sat right next to the kitchen. Guava Brava - Such a refreshing and delicious cocktail. I would definitely order this again. Almejas al Vapor Picantes - The avocado clam sauce was incredible, especially paired with the focaccia bread for dipping. Pulpo al Guajillo - One of my favorite dishes of the night. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Empanadas - Really good! We all loved these. Salbute Pato Ahumado - Tasty, but it wasn't one of my favorites compared to the other dishes. Poc Chuc - I'd probably skip this next time. The flavor was good, but the meat wasn't as tender as I expected and was a bit tough to chew. Beignets - So delicious! They come with chocolate and caramel dipping sauces, and they were the perfect way to end the meal. Our server even brought us a side of vanilla ice cream to enjoy with them, which turned out to be an amazing combination. Overall, we had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Between the cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and standout dishes, I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

There was no one else dining inside since I came after the lunch rush. One other person came in to get a drink while I was there. There are a good number of tables in the dining room. The lady who took my order must've been tired or something because she wasn't having it. I kept it quick and simple and didn't ask any questions. Needed to pick up something for a late lunch and got a couple of burritos. Saved the other carne asada burrito for my husband. I ordered the Surf and Turf which sounded like a popular burrito. To my dismay, I was disappointed with this burrito. Firstly, the size and quantity was not equivalent to the price of the burrito which was $14.50. Since I wasn't in the mood for french fries, they said it would be substituted with rice. OK, great I like rice. However, it ended up being about 90% rice. The meat portion was so skimpy and to top it off, the meat did not taste that great. It was not very flavorful and the shrimp was not fresh, but rather most likely frozen. The salsa didn't help that much either. For the Carne Asada burrito, my husband felt the same way about his burrito. I did not say anything to him about mine until he shared his opinion first. He said that there was only a little bit of meat in his Carne Asada burrito. Note, there's also a 3% surcharge on a credit card payment. I always try to dine at family restaurants, but we were not satisfied with our food. I'm willing to give them another try and will order other types of dishes next time.
