Surf & Turf Burrito
Clarissa D.

I've been coming to this place for about a year and it's always very tasty. I usually get the surf & turf burrito it's my favorite. It's a good size burrito to finish it on your own or share. It comes with fries, meat, shrimp, and salsa. I've loved it every time but the last time, I got just a few shrimp in there like 3 to 4 so I would love a couple extra to make it more to the burritos name. The people that work here are great people and always very friendly. It seems empty on the inside but if you come during breakfast / lunch time it's busy. There is lots of tables inside if you want to have it there and they also offer to give you salsa on the side. If you want to take it on the go I would give them a call and your food will be ready when you get there.

DONT DO IT!!!! Avoid Nancy, poor service and bad food.

Thursday 10/09/2025 ZERO star experience. *Nancy cashier - unprofessional and defensive *Low quality food *$15 burrito 95% eggs 5% meat (see images) Never coming back due to negative experience..fellow yelpers support local businesses but customer service is rude and food portion cost is unethical. Your decision.. Avoid Nancy...we explained situation and got interrupted 5x. Come here to lose your appetite. Hate to leave this kind of review..but dinner experience made it a responsibility to warn future customers

Found this pleasant taco shop and loved the food. Everything was tasty, presented neatly, and prepared in a short time. The friendly staff offered us each of the hot sauces to sample, and we found the two spiciest the best. Don't worry, their spiciest is not a kick in the teeth, just delicious and exciting.

Solid spot to try! The food is good but nothing out of the ordinary. The workers definitely bump it up a notch, really just a pleasant interaction with the gentleman who rang me up and it really made the trip a great one! They have a few different salsas, I recommend trying them all but habanero has my heart!

American Burrito with bacon

We stopped here for breakfast and got breakfast burritos. My husband also got two chicken tacos with his carne asada burrito. I got the American burrito with bacon (pictured). All the food was delicious!! The team that worked here was so kind and you can sense they take pride in their food. Prices are still reasonable and food was bomb. They make fresh salsa and had a few options for different spice levels. Totally recommend! For sure come here if you're hungry (:

AMAZING family owned authentic Mexican food! Finally food that tastes like HOME! How can you go wrong when this place is run by family that are so welcoming, kind, and generous! While waiting for our burrito, they whipped up two carnitas tacos for my mother and me to try-- so delicious! She's already begging to go back for more! Food is made to order, salsas made in house, and they have their own seasoning blend for their meat. Forget fast food for Mexican food... choose a FAMILY owned restaurant that cooks with PASSION! Your taste buds will thank you!!

Carne asada fries ($12.50)

Taco Pronto is located in a plaza with ample parking. They have a sign on the wall that says the food is made to order. Note that they have a 3% convenience fee for using cards so bring cash if you want to avoid that. CALIFORNIA BURRITO ($12.50) - this had lots of meat but it didn't have guacamole which was extra. It needed some fresh ingredients and was just okay. They put the salsa on the side but I felt like it wasn't enough for the burritos so I had to be pretty conservative with it. 3/5 SURF & TURF BURRITO ($13.50) - I liked this one more than the California burrito mostly because of the shrimp. Other than that, they tasted very similar to each other. 3.5/5 CARNE ASADA FRIES ($12.50) - I liked the thin fries and they gave good portions of meat. I ordered this without beans and I'm glad I did. The portions could've been bigger but it wasn't bad for the price. 4/5 The service was good and they apologized for the food taking long even though I only waited 12 minutes. The meat was well-seasoned but all the dishes eventually started tasting the same. They were also a little stingy on the sauces.

Always a good go to spot. You should make it a regular on your list of places to visit as well. Food is always good, hot and freshly made. Service is on point. Ambiance is typical of what it should be. Down side is this place does need some deep cleaning on the lobby. Built up greasy dust and dirt next to your food is not what customers want to see while motor boating a great burrito.

I've been here countless times and I'm finally taking the time to leave a good review because they deserve it! EVERY single time I've ordered from this place, they've exceeded my expectations. Quality food with generous portions, there isn't anything that I've had here that I didn't like. I also love how spicy their hot sauce is, it's housemade and they even have bottles of it for sale (the fiesta one is my favorite). What also makes this place stand out to me is the service on top of everything else. Everyone is honestly SO nice, the way they pick up the phone and the way they greet you when you enter, it's just all good vibes. For someone who gets a little anxious ordering especially knowing I'm pronouncing Spanish words terribly awful when ordering.....it just means a lot to not be made to feel bad about it. And I'm always met with this kindness from them EVERY single time I go here. This is the only place I go to when I'm craving tacos!

To be fair, I thought it was actually a 3.5 star overall since the food was tasty and portions were huge. We ordered the fish burrito which had fish in every bite. Also got the shrimp and carne asada Cali burrito which hubby loved. 4.5 stars for the food 4.5 stars for cleanliness 2-3 stars for no fresh salsa 2-3 stars for no AC and bc it was a hot day!

Crispy shredded beef tacos

Very tasty taco place. We tried all kinds of tacos. We had the carne asada, the Al pastor, the carnitas and the fish. We also had the crispy shredded beef tacos and the surf and turf burrito that she said was the specialty. They were all pretty good. The only one I would pass on in the future was the fish taco. The surf and turf burrito had shrimp and carne asada and the salsa they had was really good. Probably my favorites were the crispy tacos and the burrito but I enjoyed the rest of the tacos too. We ordered a ton of food but it came out fast and the cashier that took the order was really friendly.

This is one of my go to places for Mexican food whenever I am in the area. I recommend getting their surf and turf burrito which is one of their well known items. There is a good amount of meat, shrimp, and fries. One thing that would really improve this dish is having crispy fries for that textural contrast because the fries are usually soggy. The carne asada quesadilla is also pretty good, but I wish they would put more cheese in it. There's a good amount of meat, but there definitely needs to be more cheese because it was basically like eating meat and tortilla. It would be nice if they gave some guac or sour cream to add some moisture to the dish since it tends to be dry. The nachos were pretty good. I still think I prefer the ones from Sabrosada just because their chips are crispier and more flavorful. Chips tend to be a bit soggy at times as well. Overall this is a good place to try if you are in the area and are craving for some Mexican food. It is located in a small strip mall plaza so parking is not really an issue. They also have a 7 Leaves nearby if you want dessert afterwards.

YUMMMMM. Finally…read moretried Peter's Gourmade Burgers! The burgers are delicious, but they are also pricey. I wouldn't have Peter's often due to the price, but I would get it here and there if I wanted to splurge a bit on burgers. The burgers are VERY good. The burger patty itself has a delicious blend of meat, is cooked well, and is flavorful. I ended up trying: The Mushroom Swiss, The Bubba, The ABC, Peter's Greek Fries, and Sweet Potato Gooey's. Your flavor preferences will determine which burger is your favorite as they were all really good! The Mushroom Swiss is a classic mushroom burger that is lighter in flavor, but quite tasty. The Bubba was definitely the most flavorful burger and was a perfect example of a BBQ burger. The ABC was a classic burger and it was a little heavy on the sweet pickle flavor, so this burger is not for you if you don't like pickles. They were alllll good. The fries were solid too, but truly the burgers were the star of the show! Hope I get to come back and try more burgers.

We never heard it called, though we clearly heard other numbers and saw employees actively delivering food to other tables. After 15 minutes, I went inside to check on our food. Our order was just sitting on the counter. When I checked the tacos, the meat wasn't just lukewarm--it was completely cold to the touch. When I caught the cashier's eye, he just gave me a thumbs-up. When I told him the food was cold, the cashier, Irvin, immediately got defensive and told me with an attitude, 'I called the number twice.' I explained that we didn't hear it, and pointed out that staff had been bringing food out to everyone else anyway. Instead of offering a solution, he doubled down, saying, 'I heard my voice over the speakers,' giving me a 'too bad, so sad' look. When I asked him to remake the food, he completely refused, repeating that he'd called the number. Unwilling to argue with someone that unprofessional, I told him to keep the cold food and just give me a refund. He refunded the money and we left. Absolutely terrible service from Irvin--we won't be back."

The Ube pie was hot, crispy, but I feel that the Peach Mango pie tasted better. My order did take a long time to come out around 15 minutes.
