Hola!! This is my favorite go-to restaurant when I want Mexican food. It is none other than Taco Time of Columbia. I purchased the Pollo Loco, which sliced chicken with squash, zucchini, broccoli, and tomatoes in a cream sauce. It was served with rice and beans smothered in a cheese sauce. This dish is so delicious and flavourful, I would recommend you buy it today if you are looking for authentic Mexican food, give it a try, and see what all the hype is about! Customer service was great and friendly. They prepared my dish in a timely manner, no long wait at all. The restaurant was clean and functional.

A very nice Mexican place! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The only downsides are that the waitress did not seem to be in a very good mood, and the restaurant itself is situated in a pretty bad part of town. Other than that I would recommend!

So this is a typical Mexican restaurant with colorful walls and decor everywhere. Music playing to get you in the vibe. I think this was one of the first restaurants my bf and I came to last year when I moved down here. We love Mexican food, the cost is efficient, and it's close to the house which is a win. I didn't get a photo cuz we ate it so fast but their chips and salsa are so good! The chips always taste fresh and salsa gives a nice bite every time. I usually get a taco salad but I wanted to try something new, so we got the chimichanga with chicken and burrito with beef brisket. They were both equally delicious especially paired with rice, sour cream, tomato and salsa. The meat was very flavorful and the queso was delicious. I will say the chicken was a little hard to cut through so I'm not sure if the piece was too big. I'll definitely probably get those again. My daughter had nuggets and fries and the nuggets were really tender and I loved their fries. Crunchy outside with soft inside texture is perfect to me. The service was quick. I'd say we were in and out in less than 45 minutes to be completely honest which we liked because we had other things to do yesterday. The staff is very nice and they seem to try to accommodate if they can. One of my favorite restaurants. They're a solid 8.4/10 for me.

1 star for atmosphere. It seemed clean. 1 star for the expeditious service. We were seated right away. Offered drinks right away. And didn't wait long for the food. Chips and salsa was put out right away. That's it. The waitress seemed confused or as though she couldn't understand me. We went back and forth almost to the point where it became awkward. Ultimately my order wasn't what I asked for / expected. Food lacked flavor and authenticity. I didn't finish My plate and wasn't interested in bringing my leftovers home. It made me question if it was a Mexican restaurant. Prices were reasonable but I'd personally never eat there again.

Taco time, taco time..... save your money. Staff is friendly, margaritas are trash & food was okay.

Service was okay, food meh. We ordered a margarita it was so big!!! No alcohol, face snack (emoji). We were extremely disappointed and left the entire thing, I believe the drink was 30 dollars NEVER AGAIN.

Mexican American close to home. This style of food is a favorite among many and Taco Time has everything you could crave. They feature a pretty run of the mill menu that doesn't skip any of the fan favorites. They also have a pretty cool drink menu that's got some interesting drinks on it. Taco time does a good job service wise, food wise, and the environment is everything you'd expect. If you've been to a decent Mexican American spot you know exactly what to expect. I would've loved to see some more interesting takes on the food or style but playing it safe is also a good bet. Really not too much to say here except if your in the mood for Mexican America and are in the area Taco won't disappoint.

Decent food with attentive servers. I like spicy, salsa wasn't quite spicy but that's not for everyone.

Food was great and authentic. The Cubana Torta is another thing in itself! Huge, with hot dogs sticking out the side and the kitchen sink ingredients on the inside. Freddie got half of it down and packed up the other half to take home to his wife. It's a cultural experience trying to eat the whole thing yourself. Since the last time I was here they have added a very nice outdoor covered area to the left of the restaurant...nicely decorated and a perfect place to enjoy Mexican food weather permitting!!! Families, dates or just team gatherings fill the room along with the beautiful bright murals on the walls. The staff is super attentive and the service is absolutely exceptional. The pork belly chicharones were definitely the star of my meal. Fried perfectly and a good ratio of fat to lean meat, it was a 10/10. Hit it with some fresh lime juice and it sets it off! The esquites and carne asada taco were a miss for me. The esquites lacked depth of flavor, tasted like they just had canned corn that was warmed up and topped with condiments. Not terrible but again, nothing special. The carne asada taco was tough, literally and figuratively. It wasn't seasoned and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. This is still a go to spot...not pictured are the AMAZING soups they make.

Update: 09/04/2026…read more Let me tell you how good this food was today! When I tell you I wasn't in a sharing mood, haha believe it! My husband made all the advances. I have dined here before but today the food was so delicious, there were no crumbs whatsoever:) I ordered the Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon. It's served with crispy potato, asparagus, steamed corn and white rice. The taste was heavenly! Everything was prepared perfectly. My husband ordered the Chicken Tacos. It was served with black beans, garnished with mixed greens and chipotle with cheese. He stated his food was full of flavor with an earthy crunch from the radish. He raved so much about the food while eating. I promise it was good in a short time! We loved our food so much and can't wait to try something different on the menu next time:) Customer service was great! Everything was amazing. We truly enjoyed it. See you soon Cocos and Beer!

Although I don't remember the bartender's name, he was such a cool guy and did a great job of introducing me to the restaurant. I got a margarita to drink, which was a little more expensive than most other margaritas I've gotten, but the quality easily made up for the price. To eat, I simply got three (3) cheese quesadillas, as the rest of the menu was a little too complicated for me. Although they're a simple dish, they were still really good! As for the ambiance, Coa was also a really cool, upscale, and atypical Mexican place! I think it nailed the vibe it was going for, and there are few, if any, comparable places in the surrounding area (that I've been to at least!) Overall, Coa was an awesome upscale Mexican restaurant. I loved stopping in, and I will be back in the future. As such, I'd recommend it to anybody looking for the same vibe!

We ordered 3 small plates and the octopus. 2 of the small plates came out and were each missing a component that was on menu description. The tamale was a dry very benign item, that was needing some type of accompaniment. If you are looking for small portions at high prices, this is your place. The 3 small plates and the octopus with an ice tea and a coke was a little over $100 with tip. Columbia is severely lacking an upscale Mexican dinner option and unfortunately Coa continues the trend.
