Hands down the best Ahi Taco I have ever had- it was wild caught. The strawberry margh was excellent too- but go for the tacos. I can't recommend the actual chicken, but the fixings it came with were great & the woman behind me was raving about the carnitas taco. Nice atmosphere, good outside seating.

Love their Black bean chilli. I had the beef, cheese, creama on top and ordered a side of guacamole. Their guacamole could be better but it's still ok. I had extra of everything . Great service and atmosphere.

Today was all about Carnitas. I was craving that smoky and spicy treat with a burst of citrus and refreshing crunch of jicama. The restaurant was bustling with the weekend crowd but as alway, the service was efficient. There is e

MMMmmmm... new taco favorite! Tacovore... fairly close, easy to get to... Nice! Service was wonderful, friendly and helpful! Placed my order for one Carnitas taco, one Chorizo Taco, and one Carne Asada taco, with a Mexican coke! Place is pretty good sized, a number of booths, and a bunch of shared tables. Fairly quiet too, considering how busy they were. Plenty of seating! Tacos were delivered quickly. Carne Asada... pretty good! Nice bit of Guacamole on it too... would order again. Carnitas taco... flavorful, and juicy, and I love the way they loaded it up. Chorizo taco... ok, not quite the chorizo I am used to... but good. Recommended!

Definitely a popular spot in Eugene. If you sit by the garage door, you'll be fascinated by the drivers who are attempting to leave the parking lot. Therefore, park on the street! Love the variation of sauces. I've been to the location in Portland, but I was impressed by the quality of food here. The tofu and chorizo were my favorite. I wished the chips were less salty which was my only complaint and wished there was more guacamole, but otherwise very delicious and worth stopping by. The margaritas were delicious and reasonably priced like a regular size marg of the raspberry jalapeño was $11. The hibiscus mint marg was super delicious. They seem to have a good range of seasonal drinks.

I'm new to Eugene originally for Cali. Was looking for some yummy tacos and thought I wouldn't find something as good as back in Cali. This place beat my expectations, staff so friendly, food fresh with so many different options for everyone. The tempeh, blackened salmon, cod are my favorite!! The Jamaica is so refreshing! My go to spot and a place I tell everyone about.

We are new visitors to Eugene. Tacovore was on everyone's list of recommendations. The blackened salmon taco on the specials menu and the carnitas taco on the regular menu were delicious. The ceviche and chips and salsa were a big hit for the table and I loved the spicy margarita!

Tacovore is one of my go-to spots for tacos in Eugene. While the tacos can be a bit pricey, each one is a decent size and definitely satisfying. The place is almost always busy, and sometimes the line even stretches outside the door, which shows how popular it is. Their margaritas are delicious. I get one every time I go, and they never disappoint. One downside is the tiny parking lot. It's a hassle to get in and out, so I usually skip it and just street park. This time, I got the Carne Asada and the Old E, which were both delicious. They don't automatically give you salsa on the side, but you can go up and grab your own, which I actually like since there are a bunch of options to choose from. Not the best tacos I've ever had, but it definitely hits the spot when you're craving them.

The fillings for the tacos are good. I wish they would use 2 tortillas instead of one because they're flimsy and they're sort of pricey.

    Ask the Community - Tacovore

    Are the vegetarian/vegan options?

They do have both! And some extra just ask them :) so deelish!

Do they have Taco Tuesday? (discount?)

They do have a happy hour! Happy hour is from 3-6pm every day and you get 50¢ off of tacos and 1$ off margaritas, draft beers, and tortas!

How is the michelada made here?

made fresh. I talked to the head chef nothing is from a can and they rarely used ingredients from a can.

    Are there vegan options?

Yes, they offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. They have rotating specials which also have vegetarian options. I am allergic to dairy so I often order the vegetarian options without cheese or sour cream.

I was greeted right away and told to pick any seat. There isn't a traditional bar area, just seating throughout the restaurant. The space itself is really cute and welcoming, although it was very quiet with only one other table occupied during my visit. After looking over the menu and hearing both the online praise and my server's recommendation, I decided on the birria plate. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. One small detail that stood out was the presentation--the consommé was simply spooned onto the plate, which made everything look a bit messy. The birria itself was tender and flavorful, but it still felt like it was missing something that would have made it memorable. The rice was disappointing, using a frozen-style vegetable medley with lima beans, which, in my opinion, didn't belong in the dish. The beans on the side were fine, but nothing particularly noteworthy. At $28, I expected better quality, a more polished presentation, or a larger portion. While the meal wasn't bad, it didn't live up to the glowing reviews or justify the price, and I left feeling underwhelmed.

It was a Thursday night so it wasn't too busy and we were able to get a spot in the parking lot without any issues. We were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess and shown a table. We got chips and salsa for free (a staple!) while we looked over the menu. I got the pollo a la crema and my partner got the steak fajitas. My food was great! It came with three tortillas, I got flour. My partner's food also came with three (flour) tortillas. You have a choice of corn or flour when you order. The chicken and crema sauce tasted so good! I wish I had a spoon so I could drizzle the sauce over the chicken in the tortilla but I just ended up dipping it instead and that worked fine. The steak fajitas were also good! The rice and beans were just okay, they didn't seem to have much seasoning and needed a lot more salt. We were seated in a cozy little sunroom with a bar. The whole place looked very clean, even the fake plants way up by the ceiling didn't look dusty at all. The people working here were very nice and attentive. The prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food we got - I have lunch for another day! All in all this was a great spot! I definitely want to try more things on the menu. Just be prepared to have to salt and pepper your rice and beans if you get some.

But for the most part very good the enchiladas are fabulous, the tlayuda delicious and many other meals. I genuinely liked this place. But after tonight, I have to say that the complete lack of respect shown toward the food was mind-blowing. There were three things tonight that simply could not be forgiven. 1. The Ceviche Trio The pulpo was chewy as a bouncy ball wrapped in rubber bands--completely inedible. The fish had no salt, no acidity, and was cut so poorly that I made the joke that the cook must have forgotten his knives at home, thrown it against the wall a few times, and said, "Well, that's good enough." The shrimp was effectively a cheap riff on shrimp cocktail, if they had remembered to clean the shrimp before serving it. I've had better ceviche from Taco Bell. Granted, that was from a vagrant selling what I thought was ceviche outside Taco Bell, so take that for what it's worth. Either way, it was loads better. I hope it was fish. 2. The Al Pastor Tacos -- "Served Table-Side" When you read that something is being served table-side, you imagine someone coming out of the kitchen with beautifully marinated, succulent pork piled high on a proper trompo, topped with pineapple, slowly roasting and caramelizing away as you wait for it to be carved right there at your table. Instead, out comes a busser with a trompito, spinning a metal skewer and attempting to give the meat some sort of roasted effect with a blowtorch emblazoned with "Ace Hardware." He then passes me this metal box containing room-temperature, dry pork that tasted like it was made with a seasoning packet. Not to mention there was no practical way to eat it. You basically had to tear the meat from the skewer with your hands because the apparatus was so cumbersome. If the butter knife provided had actually been capable of cutting the meat, it would have fallen directly into my lap. It was as if they took the iconic mid-century dish made famous in Mexico City and decided to serve it à la Easy-Bake Oven. This was an absolute failure of a dish from concept to execution. 3. The Pork Fajitas We have all had and loved fajitas: sizzling meat, onions, and peppers arriving at the table still sizzling away. This was not that. This was stew meat in a puddle of broth. Soggy and overcooked, with no caramelization and barely any flavor. One Positive My brother said his pork belly tacos were nice. And honestly, that's part of what makes tonight so disappointing. We've been here several times. I genuinely liked this place. I understand that not every dish is going to be a winner, and I've certainly had meals here where I thought, "Well, I won't order that again." But tonight wasn't a matter of one disappointing dish. It was three dishes that felt like nobody involved had any respect for what they were supposed to be.
