It is built better than any of the other clubs! It's fairly new but it's built better than the newest locations. I enjoy playing basketball here and can get some pretty good two on two games going with the guys that go here! The customer service is outstanding! Everyone from the general manager to the front desk guys and girls are so friendly and helpful! I was looking for the nearest pool and they took the time out of their day to find the closest pool and hours! I think every club needs to have a good set of personal trainers! I was able to work briefly with Shad! He didn't have a client at the time and he was able to show me a few shoulder workouts! That is what you call love for the job because most trainers would have been focused on booking you but he just wanted to help me get my shoulder workout done right! Thank you so much for taking that time to work with me! I look forward to training with your team in the near future... Thank you all for the amazing customer service! I wish this was my home gym but I'm glad to make it my 2nd home gym!

One morning I was taking my 2-year-old to the Kid Zone when he urgently needed to use the restroom. We were clearly in a rush, but the front desk employee stopped me and insisted I scan a QR code before letting us pass. The interaction felt unnecessarily strict and passive-aggressive. If I didn't have a membership, I wouldn't even be able to use the Kid Zone, so the situation could have been handled with a little more understanding given that I was trying to help my child get to the restroom. What made the experience worse was the tone. It felt like a scene was made in front of my child over something that could have been handled calmly and quickly. For a gym that charges close to $50 a month, I would expect a higher level of customer service and basic courtesy. I spoke with someone at the register afterward and was told the manager would be informed, but it has been over two weeks and I haven't received any follow-up or apology. Between that experience and the already high membership price (especially considering the sauna often smells unpleasant), I decided to cancel my membership. I'm very disappointed and will be going to a different gym moving forward. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this location based on my experience.

They are very helpful and make sure you're doing the exercises correctly. They also change it up all the time so that you're not bored or doing the same thing over and over. It's a good HIIT workout, and I always burn at least 300 calories in the 40 minutes of exercise, which is great by my standards. I would have given this place 5 stars, but then something happened (I thought about 3 stars but thats not fair to the rest of the employees). Toward the end of my 2 week trial, I took a look at my finances and even with the discount, it just wasn't doable. This place is expensive (more than other HIIT gyms Ive been to in the past) and being that I am not rich, I just can't make it work with upcoming bills, car repairs and everything else I have going on. When I called and spoke to Sunny, I explained to her that I unfortunately needed to cancel for now. She asked for any feedback for the program and I told her LOVE the classes, but I just can't afford it. She then said, in an incredibly rude tone, "did you know that before you signed up to take our free classes or did you just figure that out now?" Honestly I was shocked. It was so rude, it really hurt my feelings and it felt like she was accusing me of being a scammer or something. I would hate for anyone else to feel this way should they have to cancel. Also because of this I will not ever return, even if I could afford it. It was unbelievably rude. I shouldn't be made to feel bad for giving something a shot and just not being able to afford it. Guess I should have lied and said I hated it or something.

    Member BIlling. The billing at the Val Vista Club Gilbert has been screwed up for the past 4…read moremonths. The upgrades in their system has lost long term members correct billing information. 1) Members like myself since 2022, have had the same Credit Union Checking Account and Bank Routing information on their Planet Fitness Account with ABC for more than 3 years. 2) This club states that they have been making system upgrades and as a result-- some members information has been lost and even not able to be found on the 17th of each month. 3) Trying to explain to managers or expecting a follow up return call about the billing errors--- Never happens. 4) Credit Union Members generally have One account # for all accounts but also a code that delineates to draw from Checking. ABC can't find this code any more because after this club's upgrades vital Member information was lost. It's been happening for the last 4 Billing Cycles and management fails to listen, follow-up or correct. Dismissive most of the time 5) Members can be seen at desk about double billing, gratuitous late charges due to their inability to locate necessary account information for ABC to process payments 6) While a member since 2022, this billing fiasco is getting old. They pulled from my same checking from April 2022- until the problems started after Easter of this year 2024. April May June July August September--- some strange billing problem
