Assistance was requested, and it was mentioned that the locker selected was already known to be broken, though it didn't appear to be marked or addressed to prevent the same issue for others. The pool area felt underwhelming and quiet. The hot tub is restricted to ages 12 and up, which may be limiting for families with younger children. Overall, staff interactions felt minimal and the environment wasn't particularly welcoming or engaging.

If you're into standard bodybuilding or exercising in a "no frills" and "no BS perks" kind of gym, this is YOUR gym. Since I used to body build and compete everything here is perfect for me to get in a decent workout anytime I want. On top of that, even when there is more than a few people at this gym at certain peak hours, everyone is very respectful and literally just there to get their workout in (no BS). The owner Whitney is a well-known competitor and coach in the bodybuilding industry and her vibe is extremely friendly and kind. She was the one that gave me such a quick tour the day I walked in and obviously signed up for a monthly membership here. It's also nice to feel motivated when you're at this gym when you see present-day competitors training here.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before I wrote my review. The space is a little small, but it has a ton of potential - there's a second floor that would be GREAT for group classes! There is plenty of sparkly, brand new equipment. And plenty of cleaning stations for people to do the right thing. It also seems like more people are utilizing the free fitness training, I've never seen that at the locations I've belonged to in OH, PA, or AZ. A lot of the staff transferred here from the other location, and I must say, they are all of the friendly faces from the other location, which is nice. They all seem so much happier here. My only complaint (and reason for 4 not 5 stars) is that there are still people not cleaning machines, I wish they would say something to those individuals - I watched two people use two cardio machines, along with every machine in the first row for a few reps and not clean a single one.

I found Ryan Gallegos a couple years ago and trained with him at Lifetime, he was awesome, then he left. Over the course of the past year I've dealt with a couple health issues. So I now want to get back into shape and reached out to Ryan. I met him at Physiq Fitness where he has been training now for over a year. First, I'm so happy to back with Ryan as he is well educated in fitness and knows what he's doing. I'm also amazed at this wonderful gym!!!! It's big and well equipped with every type of machine or weight. There's also an indoor pickleball court!!!! Membership is extremely reasonable and you can always get on the machines. If you want a gym that provides and EXCELLENT workout, without the hype and expense of Liftime or the humdrum of Planet Fitness, and not jammed like EOS, then this is the gym for you. And if you want an AWESOME trainer that really knows his stuff, ask for Ryan G (there are 2 Ryans)!!

Orland, Colton, Ryan, Ryan Horne, and other support staff are very helpful, and they greet and talk to you. It has such a family atmosphere that you get one of the cleanest gyms in town, which is not crowded or intimidating for newcomers. I have been around the Phoenix metro Gym scene for the past 30 yrs, but I have to say Physique is very unique in the sense it feels like a very neighborhood gym feel with large gym equipment and setup. Finally, the staff is what makes it more welcoming and I truly enjoy going there.
