Paneer Tikka Masala

Driving through Utah from Yellowstone and Bryce Canyon. As a spoiled vegan who lives in California with amazing vegan options. Grateful we found this spot. I ordered the Aloo Gobi Hot. And it was perfectly spiced not to hot and not mild. Amazing spot for vegan/vegetarian friendly food from a truly local spot. Friendly staff!

Excellent!! The chicken coconut korma was the best I've ever had! So so good! The biryani with raita was also a standout

It's been a while since we've been here we stop by on the stormy day to pick up some food on our way home and found one order of chicken coconut korma and garlic naan came to $23. The prices have undergone a steep increase since the last time we were here. That being said the flavors for delicious and the amount of food was reasonable.

My plate.

Every bite gets better and better!! 9.5/10 My man got the Mixed Grill (Chicken Tikka, Lamb Botti Kabab, & Tandoor Tiger Shrimp). My man killed his entire dish. 8/10 We got 2 garlic naan and 1 onion naan. It's diced red onion on it, which is even better! Listen, I LOVE GARLIC, and I'm sad we didn't get all 3 onion naan because that's how bomb it was!! BOTH OF US LOVED IT!! We'll be back every week until I'm sick of curry They gave us 4 little complimentary mango ice cream. It was sooo good and creamy!!! So refreshing after such a good meal!! Service is good! Staff is nice! The place is clean! 1,000 RECOMMEND OVER THE OTHER LOCAL INDIAN RESTAURANTS IN PROVO/OREM and I want to say I've been to most of them (India Palace, Bombay House, & Kohinoor. I actually thought Urban Turban food truck in Springville was pretty decent).

Not to mention the restaurant kind of has an old, dirty vibe to it. My fork tines were bent, the pepper shaker was sticky, the dusty battery powered candle didn't work...the waitress was nice enough but not a good waitress at all. All in all, we will not be returning.

My colleague and I were driving back from a work trip towards the SLC airport and we stopped in at…read moreGovinda's. Each items on their buffet was wholesome AND delicious. Understand and accept a) that it's a vegetarian buffet, b) you can get a completely balanced meal with all the protein and nutrients you need, and c) you don't have to be Hare Krishna to enjoy their buffet. We showed up there at about 5 PM. The people working there were very nice and welcoming. I recommend the halvah--which is a wheat-based dessert dish. It was sweet and delicious with a pleasant thick texture (like clumpier cream-of-wheat). Everything in their salad bar looked so fresh, and they put out some honeydew that they told me they grew there. I thought I'd give it a try, though I dislike honeydew in general--but the color was so vibrant and it looked juicy. It was unlike any honeydew I've ever tasted; the grocery store honeydew is trash compared to what they were serving. It literally tasted like honey. It was a small but varied buffet. The mung bean soup was bright and tangy--so good. There was something that was either pan-fried yucca or sweet potato; whatever it was was starchy but kind of sweet. I kept going back to the halvah. Outside there were llamas, peacocks, trees, parrots, a koi pond. The people working there welcomed us to walk around, hang out, visit their service (which started at 6, but we declined), to do whatever we wanted to relax. It was a great way to decompress and eat a healthy, nutritious meal while traveling.

My family loves the Vegetable Samosas with the Mint Chutney as well. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the owner was a pleasure as he walls around and chatted with everyone. He wanted to make sure we were eating our Naan first while it was hot, and then focus on the rice afterwards. (Advice that changed my life, I was always a rice first sort of guy). The tables didn't feel too tight, it definitely gets loud with the dinner rush but nothing more than you would expect. Such an awesome place with great flavor! I loved reviewing restaurants in Logan, but there's only so much up there... now that we've moved to Utah County I'm excited to get back into the food scene! All that to say excuse my lack of pictures, I'm a little rusty haha. But trust me when I say this was awesome food!!

Years ago, when they were still operating as a food truck, they introduced me to Indian food for the very first time. I've been hooked ever since. My first favorite was the Butter Chicken. Then I tried the Chicken Tandoori, and now the Chicken Tikka Tandoori is my new favorite. Every dish has been full of flavor and cooked perfectly. What really stands out to me is that the food is clearly made fresh to order. I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes because I'd much rather have a freshly cooked meal than food that's been sitting under a warmer. Every meal I've had has arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely worth the wait. The service has always been friendly, and it's great to see how far they've come from their food truck days. If you're looking for authentic, freshly made Indian food, I highly recommend Urban Turban. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

The food was delicious (and true to the spice levels haha). It's been in the parking lot of the Shell gas station for 3 years and still going strong! This place deserves more love and attention from the community! Come support this small Indian food truck!
