Backstory: Mid-December 2025 I was getting ready to head out on a road trip. I own a pug who sheds year-freaking-round, and my boyfriend cannot stand dog hair. So naturally, I decided my car needed some serious TLC before we embarked on several hours of "bonding" in a confined, fur-covered space. I found this company on Yelp. While they didn't have a ton of reviews yet, my interaction with Jocelyn was great right from the start, so I decided to book. They came to my workplace and detailed my car right in the parking lot, which was incredibly convenient. Communication was excellent the entire time--updates on arrival, timing, everything. They arrived around 2 PM and finished right at 5 PM. I have a small SUV and... WOW. They got every nook and cranny. One of my biggest pet peeves is how much dog hair gets wedged between the seats by the armrest (and very possibly a few rogue fries or a stray Sour Patch Kid... ha!). Another is the carpet in cars. Yes, I have heavy-duty rubber mats, but there are always those strips of carpet that act like a magnet for dirt and hair that never wants to let go. I've tried every tool imaginable with little success. This crew somehow got it all. My car honestly looked, felt, and smelled amazing--like new again. And the best part? They did all of this while it was sleeting and generally miserable outside. The weather was far from ideal, but they showed up, worked hard, and delivered incredible results. That kind of professionalism really stood out. Highly recommend. I've already shared their info with several people. I'll still swing by Crew Carwash for a quick exterior wash, but for interior cleaning? Hard pass. You never know what those vacuums sucked up before you arrived--and that's assuming you find one that actually works. And clearly... it's time for me to book again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be moving forward. I wasn't expecting a full detail on my older truck, but I did expect the interior service that was advertised on their website. Instead, I received what amounted to a quick vacuum and window wipe. Their website advertises: * Interior vacuum that removes dust and debris from every nook and cranny. * Cleaned windows for crystal-clear visibility. * Dash, cupholders, and center console cleaned and dressed. * Seats wiped down. * Door jambs cleaned. * Floor mats cleaned. What I actually received was a basic vacuum and clean windows. The dash, cupholders, console, door jambs, and other interior surfaces were untouched. There was still visible dust, dirt, and debris throughout the truck. I understand this isn't a detailing service, but if you're advertising a specific level of interior cleaning, customers should receive the service that's being marketed. This experience fell well short of those expectations. I came in ready to purchase memberships for four vehicles. Instead, I left disappointed. I hope management focuses more on delivering the services they advertise than simply moving cars through as quickly as possible.

When she had finished, I was amazed at the vibrancy of the outside of my vehicle; It looked like the smoothest of glass. Even my tires looked brand new! The treatment of my leather seats was done with such care, as if this were her own vehicle. There were two small problems she addressed. I had a small tear about an inch square in one of my backseats - she treated it and the color match was dead on. The other was some damage to the panel to the passenger door. Both of these are a perfect blend and repair. Her sparkling personality was evident in my interactions with her. Her prices are very competitive with the current market. Well done all around Dara! I went in looking for whatever level of polish I could get within a roughly $500 budget, and Rod ended up delivering essentially a three-stage correction within that budget. The quality of the work, service, and value were all excellent, and we were genuinely thrilled with how the car turned out. We had just purchased the vehicle CPO with about 30,000 miles on it. We bought it Wednesday afternoon in Virginia and drove it home by Thursday night. By Friday morning, some dried mud was unfortunately wiped off the paint, leaving several additional scratches on top of some clear-coat scratches and deeper marks that were already there. Vik Black is a beautiful metallic black, but it shows almost everything. We dropped the car off with Rod Monday morning. Our goal was not showroom perfect. We just wanted the paint to look significantly better without spending well over $1,000. Rod initially discussed around a two-step polish for roughly $450, but what we ultimately received was essentially a three-stage correction for $500. Comparable quotes I had seen for that level of work were well north of $1,000. The car was washed, decontaminated and clay barred, polished, then worked again with a heavier compound and wool pad in areas with deeper defects, followed by a final polish and wax. The result was fantastic. The car is not absolutely perfect under every light, but it is also a 30,000-mile CPO vehicle with some deeper scratches. For what we asked for and what we paid, the improvement was excellent. More importantly, this was a car we had literally just brought home, and after the correction it finally felt like the new-to-us vehicle we had been excited about buying in the first place. The service was just as good. I have increasingly felt that with most businesses you can pick two of three: great quality, great service, or a great price. Rod somehow managed all three. Rod originally expected the job to take one day. Around midday Monday, he called and left me a voicemail asking whether he could keep the car until the following morning because it could benefit from some additional work. I was in a meeting and could not respond right away. When he had not heard back from me within about an hour, he decided to honor the turnaround he had originally promised and worked double time to finish the additional work. The car was ready that same Monday evening. When we picked it up, Rod and his team were clearly proud of the work and excited to show us the result. That meant a lot. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the work they are putting their name on, and that was absolutely the feeling we got. They were transparent, stayed within budget, and did more than I expected without trying to upsell me into something I did not want. I am actually pretty critical when it comes to paying a lot for detailing services, so I do not give this kind of recommendation lightly. In this case, I felt like every dollar was well spent. Rod and his team gave us exactly what we were hoping for, and then some. I would absolutely trust Darring's Detail with our vehicles again. Thank you to Rod and the entire team for making our new-to-us GV70 look like something we could be excited about all over again.

I cannot say enough about Rod and the whole crew. we took our 2026 model Y to have Darrings detail apply PPF to it although they were extremely busy he actually took us in on a Sunday when they were closed treated us like royalty and identified a dent that we completely missed when we took delivery. We notified Tesla and believe it or not, they showed the dent in their pre-delivery photos that they took of the car so after much running around and talking to people, Tesla finally is taken care of it. Many thanks to Rod and his team. again they did an outstanding job on the car. I would highly recommend them and we will definitely go back.
