My daughter's suv was a pig sty!! She has 2 little Kids and the is food everywhere!! It was just horrible. I spoke with sparkle buggy and they said they would make it look new. I got my daughter a gift certificate for an interior detail and exterior wash. My daughter called them and scheduled an appointment for them to come to her home and clean the suv. She was SO happy and amazed at the job they did. She said her car looked like new and is trying to keep it that way. The cost was very reasonable and I would highly recommend their services. I hired Sparkle Buggy to detail the exterior of my Winnebago Rialta HUGE MISTAKE! They did not clean the surface of the vehicle before they applied their finish. I.E. they put their ceramic finish over a filthy surface! When I complained about that, they told me to pound sand and that the $450 I paid did not include paint work. Since when is CLEANING and WASHING considereed to be paint work. James hires rehabilitating convicts for his labor but the REAL criminal is James himself! read more

James, the owner, is a skilled salesperson and initially comes across as very pleasant. However, when issues arise, he does not handle them fairly or offer reasonable refunds. While he may send his team to address the problem, the follow-up service often falls short of full customer satisfaction. He also strongly encourages customers to leave five-star reviews, which may explain the unusually high rating profile. The charge of $400 for detailing a relatively clean SUV is excessive -- even by New York City standards -- and particularly unreasonable for the Carmel, Indiana area. Overall, I would not recommend this service for the following reasons: It is not worth the price. The owner's attitude changes once concerns are raised, and professionalism declines. For peace of mind and better value, I suggest trying a reputable in-store detailing service for around $200. It may also feel safer since they won't have your home address. Before booking, I recommend reading reviews from customers who gave one or two stars -- their experiences reflect the other side of the story. read more

Where to start...my car looked AWFUL , dog hair and kid's messes riding around with me for over a year. I honestly wasn't sure they'd be able to get it clean without it looking used. AMAZING results! I couldn't believe my eyes, I almost don't want to drive it because it's so clean. Now I have to do my part to keep it clean The BEST part is that they came to ME so my day wasn't interrupted. Sparkle Buggy has detailed my SUV for the last 3 years. The crew is great, on time, polite, efficient and seems to enjoy the work. The car looks new, as Jame says "like off the showroom floor". They have also done my husband's SUV. His car is a wreck.....it is used on a farm. It is loaded with dust, dog hair and dirt. When the crew is finished it is hard to believe it is the same car. This small business has potential but we can't recommend it. We booked a full exterior and interior detail several weeks before our appointment. At the time of booking, the language used to describe the service and approach for detailing our car was persuasive and professional. We were told comments like "we never use Armor All... we do everything by hand and don't use machines..." But it didn't add up. On the day of the appointment three young guys (ages 22 etc.) showed up. One of them was brand new (2 weeks in). They did not call when on their way which was not a big deal but would've been nice. It was obvious two of them were trained fairly well on the basics of detailing. All three were polite for the most part. A bit immature but again not a big deal. However, the detail I learned was intended to be "time based" and my car was allocated 2 hours. Here is the first problem. A full interior and exterior detail of a black luxury sedan may take 2 hour or may take 4-6 hours. It depends on how detailed the job is. For me, the detail was average at best. Lots of missed spots, left over chemicals, interior dressing and wax residue. None of the door jams were wiped, the front hood and below were overlooked, the inside of the trunk had missed spots, the dash and touchscreen were dirty, the rims had been missed, inside panels and seat bottoms were missed, and more. A simple "finger test" revealed over a dozen filthy missed areas. I believe the mindset of "speed" combined with young kids who kind of care but are also not seasoned vets in auto detailing are major contributors. It's expected for the car owner to come out and offer some guidance for touch ups at the end, but not +30 minutes of them. In addition, I was told no machines would be used and I came out to see one of the guys using a spin polisher to apply Black Beauty (which is a great product). However I didn't want a spin brush to be used I wanted it done by hand and that's what I was told at time of booking. Because it was again "speed over anything" we had a bit of back and forth discussion on this. The machine ended up splattering chemical everywhere and many spots were missed with the soft cloth "wipe off". The kids kept saying we have to go we have to go- which was annoying because for $329 I have a lot of options where I get my car detailed and thought I was helping a veteran owned small business. Later that day the owner called me to collect payment and stated he was adding a trip charge on to my bill for driving from Carmel to Indy. He said he "did me a favor" by coming to Indy to detail my car. This was the last straw. We never agreed to any trip charge. And a small business employing three young twenty somethings is not ever doing a customer a favor by mediocrely detailing their luxury car. I'm actually doing them a favor by supporting their small business. We argued a bit back and forth and he agreed to waive the trip charge and said okay "I'll take it out of my money and pay the guys for their time". Again - just an experience I can't possibly recommend to others. Go somewhere where your car is truly detailed with love (not speed) and give your money to businesses that truly appreciate you and are upfront, transparent and honest. read more

My boat now looks brand new! Very though job and I was surprised that it looked better than expected. I hired sparkle buggy to clay bar and teflon coat/polish my brand new 2021 Subaru Ascent. I received a quote from the owner on the phone and they came to my residence to do the job. I was told that the new teflon coating was similar to ceramic coat on a car and would protect my car better than wax for a year or two even when going through a car wash. The guys showed up and the clay bar on my new car took less then 20 minutes. The "wax" job was done very quickly also and very little care was taken on the quality of workmanship. The owner was never on site during the job. While speaking with the installer I learned that he (the installer) had only been working in the industry for a few months. The final job left wax residue all over the black plastic on the bottom of my truck and I had to wipe it off myself. When the owner finally DID show up--it was simply to pick up payment for the job. He wound up charging me $350.00, which was $50 OVER what I was quoted on the phone --and tried to play it off as a misunderstanding of what vehicle I had during our initial conversation. I went ahead and paid by check and didn't complain at the time as I'm extremely low conflict. The "teflon" coating they used seemed to wash off after the first car wash. I would say it was probably the equivalent of the $20.00 Fast wax at Crew Car wash. On the same day they detailed my son's 2021 Car and left swirl marks on his new paint and were unable to repair the job or unwilling. This place used to have a good reputation for quality and workmanship--but obviously they have either changed owners or lost their skilled employees. I highly recommend against using them for any detail work and will never bring another of my vehicles to them in the future. read more

I looked at all detail shops from Westfield to Greenwood and chose Sparklebuggy...I could not have made a better choice! My Corvette has never looked better...showroom condition. And they come to you...on your own time ! The owner, James, called me as soon I scheduled my appointment on Angie's List! He also called me when they were in their way to my house, and a follow up call to ensure that I was satisfied....and I was extremely satisfied. The two detailers arrived on time, were professional...and just simply stated..just great guys! They detailed my car from one end to the other... not one spot was missed...and the even clay bared the paint and polished it to a brilliant shine .
