A Facebook post promoted by the company itself that clearly states vacuum services are FREE. Where does it say otherwise?

I have been to this car wash several times and, upon entering, have passed by their 8 or so vacuums, each of which is clearly labeled as "FREE VACUUM", "FREE VACUUM", "FREE VACUUM", "FREE VACUUM", "FREE VACUUM", "FREE VACUUM", "FREE VACUUM", "FREE VACUUM". What is also stated on a single medium sized sign by the road is the phrase "Free Vacs After Wash". Now, I, as a past customer have previously seen 8 of those signs clearly while waiting in line to get my car washed (guess which 8) and -- having a free minute on my lunch -- decided to take advantage of the great FREE opportunity provided by this small business to vacuum out my car. It wasn't until after I had vacuumed my car and was prepared to leave, however, that the manager approached me and told me that vacuum services cost $3 a visit or are included with a wash. Reluctantly, I obliged and went through the carwash right before a rainstorm. Now, here's where it gets tricky... Was missing the one sign by the road my fault? Yes. Did I reluctantly get a carwash that day to appease the manager? Yes. Am I cheap? YES! (lol) Will I go back to this carwash in the future? Probably, yes! Their service is good enough and what seems to be pretty affordable. However, in this instance, I DO believe the overabundance of the phrase "FREE" on every single vacuum on the property and significant LACK of the phrase "AFTER WASH" on any signage besides the flimsy one blowing in the wind by the road is an intentional gimmick to get unknowing customers there and then force them to pay for a service they may not currently need. (At least it worked with this customer...) So, why am I writing this? Don't get me wrong... I'm not mad at these people. I understand they have a business to run, and it can't be run by giving everything away. I just wish that they had made any effort besides the bare minimum of a single sign on the other side of the property from the vacuums to make sure the contract of service they were providing for each visitor was clearly understood to avoid such confusion. Perhaps this can be done in the future so this type of situation can be avoided and everyone can be happy? If they are a reputable service, it will be. If they like the confusion because it brings in a couple extra dollars from unsuspecting visitors, I'm afraid future vacuum users will need to scan the property upon arrival far better than this one did. We will see... Sincerely, - Your Local Cheapskate (P.S. Granted the attached screenshot is of a Facebook post promoted by the company itself that is a couple years old, but does this not qualify as false advertising? And, if they are now charging when they did not used to, some new signs need to be installed including the fine print details...)

This is the damaged they did while my car was in their care.

I got a complete interior detailing advertised for $150 for Fathers Day. The good: They did an awesome job. Very clean. The bad: Wife and daughter said they felt talked down to and insignificant by the manager or owner. The ugly: I went with my daughter to pick up the car. I noticed that there was new damage to the right rear bumper. It appeared someone drive to close to something that pushed the side of the bumper in and put a hole in it. I mentioned this to the guy there and he his response was one of the most ignorant things a business owner or employ could say to a customer, "If our machine did that it would happen to all the cars". On top of that my daughter had a gift certificate for $225. He told us there was nothing left on it because of all the dog hair. Really? Where is that on your web site? That's ok though. This is a franchise and I don't ever have to go there again. If you go there, take pictures of your car from every possible angle before dropping it off or using their car wash. That way you can prove the damage was not there before you dropped off your car. And get it in writing how much it is going to cost so you can hold you to it. We will never use them again. No excuse for poor customer service and treating people the way they do.

Look at that shine! Even great details to the tires! Which wasn't included

Able to get in that day for a "complete anterior detail" that was listed on their site for $150. I was very satisfied with the outcome! I have a dog and we all know much a dog can shed! My car looks like how it did when I first bought it- after Car wash king was finished. The wash on the outside looked even better and they cleaned the tries/rims as well which was not included! There was just a couple spots that got overlooked but it was a simple and easy wipe down that I did myself. OVERALL I would absolutely recommend Car wash king!

If I could put NO stars I would. We took our low mileage 2019 limited Expedition to be detailed. The "manager "came out to look at the car to see what we would like done we told them that the dealership we bought the car from was not able to get it to detailing before we needed to pick up so they offered to reimburse us to have it detailed on our own. We asked that they please do everything they could offer to clean this car. I had pointed out that they were food crumbs underneath the third row seats and the manager said well I'm not removing seats to clean that I said you shouldn't have to he said we'll do what we can. I had a feeling right then that we should've taken the car and left but we didn't. They called us back about four hours later saying the car was ready. they quoted me $400 to do the interior detail and an exterior wax. On their site it states that a show room detail cost less than that and should have taken at least 5 hours so I was surprised. My father took me to pick up the car he had never seen before so when we got there he open the door to quickly glance at the inside just to see what the car looked like. It was about to storm so I decided to head back home and allow the carpet to dry before putting the mats back in place. Later that evening I went to put the mats in place and I looked at the carpet and realized it had not even been vacuumed before they shampooed it at that point I decided to thoroughly inspect the car and you could tell that nothing had been touched aside from a poor shampoo job and exterior wax. I spent four hours that evening and another four hours another day detailing the car myself I took multiple pictures before touching anything and messaged the owner/manager my frustrations and proof of the lack of quality in their work. He eventually responded and said no money would be refunded not to mention his responses are less than professional claiming that I only am trying to make money off of him and accusing me of sending pictures of a different car and the list goes on. Do not be naive like I was and do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

I will preface this review by saying, I believe this to be my most negative review EVER. I bought a one year old vehicle with low mileage a month ago. With it being fairly new, I'd like to keep it looking sharp. As it turns out, I was about 40 minutes from home and had some time to kill so I thought it a perfect time to find a car wash. I looked up Yelp! reviews and AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGEMENT, selected a car wash that had two listings for the same location on Yelp! One with bad reviews and one with decent reviews. My gut said Yelpers are pretty accurate about their reviews but.... they were just around the corner from where I was so I decided to give them a try. What a mistake! I pull up to the line and I asked how it worked since I'd never been there and it looked to be a much smaller operation than my usual car wash. Services and pricing were explained. I told the young lady, I didn't want to have to vacuum my own interior and wondered if they did that or if they were only set up to have customers vacuum their own vehicles. She said "for extra" we can vacuum, clean the insides of the windows, wipe down dash and interior surfaces and do wheels. I ended up getting a $30 wash and interior service. As I was exiting the wash tunnel, two teens each grabbed a VERY WET, very well used rag to help wipe down water drips. They motioned for me to pull into a parking spot. I pulled into the spot I shad been instructed to pull into and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, I went inside to ask who was going to do the interior service and the same young lady who went through their menu of pricing and services said she would start vacuuming because the guy was busy. She started casually wiping down and I pointed out several exterior water spots and that the bumper was still covered in dirt. She used her wet towel and her blue window cleaner (maybe multipurpose??) to wipe the water spots and drips to no avail. As it turns out, she wiped hard enough to create several spider scratches on my paint! I had to say something to get the insides of the windows wiped and pointed out that I had a bug on the interior windshield that I wanted gone. Not ALL the windows on my minivan were cleaned. It's actually what I paid for! I mentioned that the dash hadn't been cleaned and that was partially wiped. Not from where the windshield meets the dash and forward. Just a quick wipe of what could easily be reached. At this point another customer pulled up and she had to attend to this customer. I believe I had paid for "wheel dressing" which cost extra and that I asked for. One of the teens came to finish the job. I asked about the wheel dressing and he said the girl didn't recall that I paid for it. He wiped the interior for a minute or so and said that was it. It was done. I pointed out all the water spots and he shrugged his shoulders and THEY were done with me! He walked off and I got in my vehicle that now REEKED of mildewy wetness! Their disgusting rag that they probably use everyday without washing is what they used on the inside of my new vehicle with white leather. At this point all I could think is "Lord, take the wheel cause I'm so upset!!" Folks, RUN don't walk as far away from this place as quickly as you can. I give it two thumbs down. This isn't even worth a second chance. Photos of how poorly the job was done and I'm out $30 and will have to pay someone to buff out the spider scratches and the water spots that aren't going away. Now, how to get rid of the putrid mildew smell from their rags...

Clean and detailed! Love their tire dressing!

Like taking care of small local businesses. The free vacuums are great! Ask for Mason and he will personally do your car!! I always tip them well since they are so nice and care about making me happy. Def go the extra mile.

Took a chance and tried the express interior clean and wash. The wash was good. The interior was a huge disappointment. I paid $25 for this and was very disappointed.

She obviously was wanting the bugs vacuumed along with the rest of the interior cleaned/vacuumed, especially the dash. She is short and can't see the dash while sitting in the driver's seat. So she didn't notice it hadn't been cleaned. Fast-forward to today. I had to take her to work and noticed it appeared the dash hadn't been touched at all, not to mention the bugs were still there. So, silly me, I thought I'd go back and get the situation rectified. Nothing doing. The jerk at the front wouldn't honor what they did or didn't do a few days ago. He said the dash could've gotten dirty in that amount of time. That amount of dust would not accumulate in just a few days. The rude attendant acted as if I was asking him to take money out of his personal wallet and give it to me. Just run the damn car back through and do a decent job this time!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I was asking. So NEVER AGAIN!!!! I've been coming to Mike's/Crew Carwash for over 40 years. There are plenty of other places in town that could use my business.

I felt like one employee was just a tad impatient for someone who didn't know their procedures or how their process worked. However, then a little bit of chaos ensued and the folks here at this Fishers location ultimately really shined when I needed them to. So, up to 5-stars it is. First off, true confession. This wasn't just my first Crew experience. This was my first time driving through a carwash at all. I'd been in a carwash, but I'd never actually been the driver. My car was looking pretty awful, though. So, while I was up in this area and saw Crew I decided to give it a try. I pulled up. There were four different lanes. Two lanes are for "Unlimited Club" members - folks who pay a monthly fee and can go as frequently as they want. Then, the other two lanes are for common folks like me. The young woman who was working my lane seemed a bit surprised it was my first time there, however, quickly explained the options in a very friendly manner. I will confess I didn't entirely understand the options. While I leaned toward the basic - I mean, I do have an older car, I opted for the Basic Ultimate as my vehicle really did need some love. Once I paid, I pulled up in the line. There's a gate in front of each lane - when it's your turn to move forward, the gate will go up. You'll pull into the lane. There are typically four cars actually in the line beyond the gates. 1-2 employees will hold up signs saying "pull forward," "in neutral," and/or "no brakes." It took me a moment to catch on - I swear I thought you drove yourself all the way through - you don't, once you go in neutral and don't have on your brakes there's a conveyor that moves you through until the end. At the very end, a green light will say "go." I think I held onto my brakes a bit too long for Mr. Sign holder. However, once I caught on everything went fine. I pulled out, ran a few errands, and then went home. The car was impressively clean other than the front window (which was just a wee bit smudgy - definitely improved, though). When inspecting the car once I got home (I'm a wheelchair user - so, I don't typically climb out of the vehicle if I don't have to), I panicked when I realized my license plate was gone. I thought to myself "It had to be at Crew." I called them - their phone system worked rather quickly. A manager indicated that "Yes, we did find a plate" and we exchanged the needed information. So, I headed back to Crew to get my plate. The young woman who'd sold me my wash recognized me (impressive) and immediately got me assistance. Within seconds, I had my plate and then was headed to try to refasten it to my car. I was impressed they so quickly recovered my plate and ensured I was able to get it back quickly. It took a potential major stressor and helped me resolve it quickly. Yes, Crew is a bit more expensive. However, the wash was super effective (other than the front window), the employees were very friendly and helpful (other than one slightly impatient moment), and the last bit with the license plate was stellar customer service. So, 5-stars it is. My car looks better than it has in quite some time and I'm super pleased.

I was able to pull through and get my whip nice and shiny for the weekend. Shout out to my husband for making sure that I can always pull right up and get my ride looking good with zero effort on my part! He's the real MVP ;-)
