The quality is out of this world. Im so excited that Dario from Dario's pizza is now teaming up too because the dedication to quality and taste will consistently be amazing. For what you're getting the prices are really fair in my opinion. It can seem steep to alot but you're not going to find this value is most basic pizzerias. And trust me...it is worth every penny. Saw that this pizzeria in Mineola has been top ranked, not just in the city or state but nation so I decided to swing by to try it out myself! This place is known for their Roman style pizza which is similar to Sicilian. Therefore, I did not order the basic triangular shaped pizzas to try nor did I base my rating on their plain cheese slice. Upon walking in, I was greeted by one of the employees asking what I want. I asked which slice is the most popular and he told me the buffalo chicken Roman slice, barbecue Roman slice, and the burrata regular slice. Unfortunately, I only had room for one slice and I definitely wanted to try one of the Roman slices they had. There were so many choices I almost couldn't decide but the potato Roman slice called to me especially when it was topped with rosemary (my favorite!) At the cashier, I saw the frozen drinks and asked the lady what they were - one was piña colada and the other one was margarita. I ordered a piña colada, but after I paid they informed me that the piña colada was not ready and gave me a sample of the margarita to try to see if I was ok with it. I tried it and it wasn't like any other margarita I've tried. It tasted very refreshing since it was frozen and it was more lemony than margarita-y. I sat down at one of the 7-8 tables and began to enjoy my slice. It was very good and I've never seen potatoes on pizza before. I will definitely be back to try more Roman slices and the burrata regular slice since it looked very good behind the glass too. Solid pizza. My third time coming here, but honestly the first two times I didn't get such great experiences with the pizza, maybe because I tried the really special slices. I didn't particularly enjoy one of the slices the staff recommended to me. I asked for something with more protein. He responded they all have protein and recommends me something that had so much onions and so little meat. Decided to stick to the basics this time and it was decent. The vodka sauce was creamy. 7-30-25. My 2nd time here. Definitely a notch above your average Long Island pizza joint. You can certainly taste the quality of the ingredients they use to prepare their pies. Today I tasted a white slice, a mortadella and pistachio slice, a broccoli rabe with sausage and peppers slice, a New York pepperoni slice and a burrata slice. I have to say they were all really good but the pepperoni slice and the burrata slice were fantastic. The doough is excellent and it has just the right amount of char which provides a blend of crunchy and chewy that will have your taste buds wanting more. Most of the slices are $6.25, which I feel is a little steep even for today's prices, but as I mentioned, the quality of ingredients provides a noticeable difference. It's a pretty busy pizza place and they do a lot of take out. If you want to dine in, there are probably about 9 or 10 tables inside......so if you walk in, grab a table because they get gobbled up quickly. My only issue with this establishment is ordering is a bit of a sh!t show. There's plenty of people behind the counter but they aren't all helping customers. They shift back and forth preparing pizzas, taking orders and checking on what's in the ovens. If you don't speak up and are a little pushy, you might get overlooked or others "in line" may just jump ahead of you if they make eye contact with one of the employees before you do. read more

We came to Tagglios after hearing it called "the best on Long Island" and even seeing claims that it ranks #3 in the country (a bold statement that sets the bar high.) The regular slice was excellent: crisp yet chewy crust, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Classic, well executed, and satisfying. We tried a few of their specialty slices the mushroom truffle and burrata were both solid, but the real standout was the potato, mushroom, and rosemary. Surprisingly my favorite earthy, savory, and beautifully balanced. That said, claiming to be the third best in the nation is a big responsibility and one they don't quite live up to. For Long Island, it's definitely a top contender. But compared to NYC pizza standards, it falls just short. Still, I'd give it a solid 8/10, which is pretty impressive. Love their pizza and would probably say it is one of the best in the area. My main issue is the menu. First off, you can't order by the slice online which is a big deal IMO. Also, they need to make some of the items on the catering menu available on the regular dinner menu. The fact that I can't order a side of penne alla vodka with a chicken parm plate is a bit ridiculous. If they had a larger menu, we would order from here with much greater frequency. This location os prime!!!! Near the LIRR, hospital and just a nice hustle and bustle of mineola. Indoor seating was sufficient enough for the busy time of a day we got there. I loved the custom artwork throughout the place, obviously thats why i snapped some flics. But most importantly, the pizza...... SPOT ON!!!! I seen bbq chicken slice and of course had to get that. To begin it was cooked to perfection, from the crust to the dough to the temperature the sent it out at. The best part of the slice was the pieces of bbq chicken though, that had a really great bite to them and just were the exact bbq it needed. I also had a vodka slice which again hit the mark spot on from every aspect of enjoyment you can think of. Pizza is good. Some things to gripe about: 1. AI picks up your delivery order.... And you can't order by the slice. And AI messed up when I was giving my credit card. So I had to order online. 2. I made my oder at 12:04pm. It's now 1pm and I'm still waiting for my order, which was apparently held up because of some grilled chicken that's still cooking. So I removed the chicken from the order. Being Italian and raised on homemade pizza, I can tell you that what makes Taglio's pizza superb is the quality of their ingredients. All imported from Italy, it's what all pizza should taste like. The crust is super thin and crispy which I like. No coal or wood oven here, just electric so don't expect a woodsy or charcoal taste. The crust has sesame seeds on the round pizza so just know that if you can't have seeds. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the very loud pop music playing. Not that I hated the music, but it's a small place & not everyone like loud music. It could be more neutral and serene. This place was voted the 3rd best in the country. I'm not sure about that (because NY has THE best pizza anyway!) Was excited to try out the #3 pizza place in the US (also #99 in the world)! Conveniently located right outside the Mineola train station - for when you're grabbing a slice on your way to or from home; we saw a lot of people in their work clothes grabbing boxes to go. They also have online ordering available, which is what we did but honestly the line seems to move pretty fast - so I'd say not necessary unless you have a large order. The price is reasonable, with most slices ~$5 and specialty slices at a higher price point and each slice is substantial with lots of dough and toppings. I got the Classic NY Slice which was everything you want in a slice - saucy without being drenched and crispy. I also tried the Palate E'Rosemario Roman Slice - the dough very much resembles focaccia, really soft yet crunchy. While I knew flavor was going to be simple (potato slices with rosemary and pecorino), it was almost too simple for my taste - whether it be punchy peppercorns or flaky salt atop or more rosemary, needed a little oomph. But that wouldn't stop me from coming again - I'd love to get a whole pie of their Vodka Roman Slice, delish! read more

Came here after trying the pizza at Farmingdale and being super impressed but this location wasn't the best. I got the prosciutto arugula slice which is definitely good but it was different than the one I had at Farmingdale. Had the opportunity to visit Taglio pizza on a random Sunday fairly early around 5:30 PM, a small line on the inside, patrons, selecting the choice of pizza that they wanted, which gave me thankfully, a few minutes to decide on my own. The pesto vodka, I believe seem to be the most popular. I went with the mortadella pistachio, the spinach and artichoke, and the Burrata, which was a round slice. the proclamation everywhere for Taglio pizza is "Roman style pizza" so I haven't been to Rome (yet) however I am unfamiliar with what the style of Roman pizza might be? My first guess would be the shape which is a narrow rectangle pie as opposed to a square or the more common round for the American style. at the cash register the clerk noticed that I had Yelp open on my phone and said oh are you looking at the reviews and I told her that I was Yelp Elite and she did not know that what that was, and I tried to explain it briefly to her (Badly because I am socially awkward) and if I am not prepared, I become unable to compute. After my bungled explanation, she said oh! You get a free slice next time which was sweet of her. I had the mortadella slice in House, and I took the other two slices to go. The mortadella slice was piled high, and my only recommendation would be to have them heated it up a little bit longer because the middle was not warm. at home I had the spinach artichoke and I had to toast it twice because it's very top-heavy and I like my pizza crunchy. I'm not sure exactly what sets Taglio pizza apart and I'm not sure why they got voted "best of" or "number one in"yet the pizza was delicious. Today I decided to stop by Taglio pizza after having a procedure done at the nearby NYU Langone hospital . I was starving and when I walked in the pizza looked amazing . There was so many different kinds I really didn't know what to order nor what I was even looking at . So my first recommendation is that they put a sign by the trays of pizza so customers know what it is . I asked about two of the pizzas but didn't wanna keep asking because the worker was obviously busy . I ordered 2 margherita slices and one slice of pepperoni with sesame crust .
