From start to finish, it was exceptional -- and it's all thanks to your amazing team and the extra touches that made the day so special. Emma and Jane deserve a huge shout-out for their outstanding customer service. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine excitement added so much joy to my first-ever clear kayaking adventure. They made me feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way, turning what could have been just another outing into an unforgettable 49th memory. Emma not only climbed rocks to ensure my photo was one of a kind she treated us (my friend Candace & I) like she'd known us for years! You can't fake you love what you do for work- Emma lovesssss rock climbing and nature - and you WILL feel that from her And now to Jane, who highly encouraged my cowboy boot photo shoot!! What a perfect, unexpected bonus! It brought so many laughs and made my birthday feel uniquely me. The combination of gliding through the water in a clear kayak and capturing that moment with a fun, creative twist is something I'll cherish forever. Thank you for doing what you do -- for creating not just a service, but an experience that celebrates people and makes them feel special. You truly made my birthday one I'll never forget, and I'm already looking forward to my next adventure with you. P.S- I still feel Kayak/Paddle-board speed dating, is something you need to look into adding! With heartfelt appreciation, Amber (#sacramento) Also, say hello to Enrique (the famous soccer player)!

Five hours later, I was charged an additional $25 for a "child seat"--which I did not rent or use. We specifically asked about pricing for the Rad bike when we arrived, so this charge makes no sense. The same thing happened to two of my friends--they were charged an additional $75 and $50 hours later, also labeled as "child seats." When one of them called to ask about the charge, she was dismissed and told, "you're not that special," . Collectively, we spent nearly $500 that day, only to be hit with unexpected charges that were never disclosed or agreed to. To make matters worse, I am a returning customer. We rented bikes here last summer, and I've brought several visiting families here as well. We own a home in Incline and visit multiple times a year. I mentioned we were from San Diego--perhaps they assumed we were just tourists and wouldn't return. We've all filed chargebacks, and unfortunately, you've lost our future business. This experience was extremely disappointing.

The views are EXCEPTIONAL and out of this world. Trail: The path itself takes 1.5 hrs to the end and back, and there are out of the world spots along the trail to snap photos or take breaks at. The first 1/3 or so of the trail is actually on the streets/highway leading to the lake itself. It's pretty safe even with cars--just be mindful of traffic. Also be mindful of foot traffic on the trail, with kids, dogs, other bikes, etc. Bikes: Highly recommend the e-bikes. They're top notch, give a good workout, but also help immensely with the uphill climbs, which there are many of. Only drawback is that there aren't any bikes for shorter girlies like myself, or at least there weren't when we dropped by. Price: Great value for all bikes. There's also a group discount of like 10% if your group has 5 or more which was a nice touch. Overall very friendly for non-frequent bikers like myself and athletic folks alike! THANK YOU Vista Trail Bikes for an unforgettable and exhilarating experience! Had such a blast with my group thanks to this shop, and hope to return in a future excursion to the lake!

Plus, the views were INCREDIBLE. My wife kept trying to take photos. However, instead of getting mad at her like I always do, I just sat and enjoyed the MARVELOUS view. 10/10 would recommend. Even my teens, or as I like to call them, "screen-agers", loved the experience. With love, Bob S.

They gave us a breakdown on how to handle the boards and what to do and not to do then sent us on our way. The shop is not right on the launch but its walking distance and you do have to carry your board to the launch and back after so be prepared for that, once they seen me they did come to help me carry it the rest of the way, they also have dry bags to keep your stuff dry and I would definitely reccomend that as the water was choppy when we went so we got way more wet than when I go in the river back home. Online booking was easy. I've posted a picture of the pricing. My group of four came in early may which is not peak season so we got two paddle boards and a double kayak easily. Michael by the beach front was great, he set us up, gave us some instructions and told us about the scenery so we could plan our time accordingly. We had a great time paddling Lake Tahoe and there weren't too many people on the lake. We basically had it to ourselves. We took pictures by the rocks that Michael suggested, it was gorgeous. Title: Unfair Treatment & Community Disappointment at Kings Beach Ace…read more I've been shopping at this Ace Hardware for 6-7 years as a loyal customer. Unfortunately, my experience recently has been nothing short of disappointing, unprofessional, and frankly, humiliating. It began when I returned an item (a Dewalt angle grinder) and was told I couldn't receive my refund in cash because it was over $100. I was told to wait for a check. When I waited to speak to the assistant manager at the back of the store, he informed me we needed to speak with the store manager Shera -- who also happens to be his wife -- about an unspecified issue. Shera had previously made me extremely uncomfortable years ago when she followed me closely around the store while she was still just an employee. It was so unsettling that I had to report it to the store manager at the time. That issue was supposedly resolved. I believe her behavior may have stemmed from an unrelated misunderstanding that occurred over six years ago--long before Shera was even working there. I personally resolved that misunderstanding with the store owner, and we left things on good terms. However, once Shera became the new manager and appointed her husband as assistant manager, the situation shifted. It feels as though old, irrelevant history was used against me, and their personal feelings began interfering with my ability to shop at my local hardware store. I was then told by the assistant manager that I had been watched on camera by him the entire time I was shopping and he believed I was behaving "suspiciously" -- stating things like me picking up an item and putting it down in a different aisle/ location and looking at my phone while shopping. Apparently, those things were "weird" he said followed by me no longer being welcome or allowed to shop at their establishment moving forward. It was apparent, based on personal feelings, they had been trying to find any reason to remove me And were tired of waiting. A employee even once pulled me aside and admitted that every time I entered, staff talked about me over their radios making negative comments and taking turns watching me as I shopped. Now, I have to drive 20+ minutes to another store, and in a small town like Kings Beach, this kind of treatment -- especially with word getting around -- is extremely damaging and embarrassing.

Since the new owners took over you…read morecan't rent equipment here, they lack a lot of items and just have a ton of Knick- knacks, the customer service is terrible- the staff is a bunch of young incompetent kids, and the manager Shara is so rude, disrespectful, unwelcoming and unprofessional. I'm surprised she hasn't gotten fired for her bad attitude. Trying to do a return, find something they don't have or any issues you basically have she turns on you. I've seen her yell at staff and I literally dread going in there. MoMo is the only one I like dealing with. They also send me coupons in the mail and every time I try to use them they either say it doesn't apply or they don't have the item and won't offer a replacement of similar value. Why send coupons then?! Their prices are also very high. I also don't trust them to mix my paint as I've had them mess up before on it and then won't let me return it even when it's not open. Would not recommend Benjamin Moore. It has not been able to cover existing paint even after multiple coats of primer. Do yourself and favor and go to Sherwin Williams in Truckee and Ace in Incline.
