I was out and about and needed a little break so I stopped in to Tai Chi for a quick boba stop. It has been a little while since I was here last but the tea is still really good! The service is still fast even when I walked in and it was very busy. I ended up going with my usual pineapple fruit tea with tapioca pearls. I also got the brown sugar tea for later. They were both delicious and the tapiocas here are the best. The consistency is on point. This seems like a great place to grab lunch or a snack while working on your computer. I might have to work here for a little bit next time since the vibe here is very relaxing and quiet for the most part. We will definitely be back for more! read more

Priced a little high. Food is ok. Probably will not return. Nothing stood out as superior quality. Their ordering process is confusing. I wanted ramen and that was not even printed on the order forms. I had to find that out by looking at the menu board on the wall behind the counter. My experience here was not the same as the Tonawanda location. Service inside is unwelcoming. Not unfriendly, but not friendly. Great location and wonderful experience I was looking forward to trying a Poke Bowl or Raman, so here we went. The outside is cool because you can check out the menu BEFORE entering in order to better understand the menu and make a decision. Sometimes, it's a pain to stand near the register undecided, and this is great for a first-timer Anywho ... we checked out the menu a bit more inside, as it takes up the side wall as well. You select your poke bowl items on a card to take to the register to order. We decided to try a bow and Raman along with a few different teas. I settled on honeydew while my crew selected strawberry and taro. Checkout was a breeze with confirmation and a few questions and then the wait. While waiting, I took a look around, and the ambiance was great. This would be a great location for a college campus area. It made me feel like I was at another bubble tea spot in Amherst that I like to frequent. Cool wooden benches all around with enough room to seat 6.easily. then, in the middle, there are leather chairs for a single or couple folks to sit. It's a VERY cozy place. We received our order with a slight wait, and we're elated that all was correct. I must admit they package everything perfectly. Including a bag for our tea. First time here. Place was very clean. Ordering was easy. My daughter had a large Strawberry Fruit Green Bubble Tea with bursting bubbles. She absolutely loved it! Said it was the most authentic bubble tea she's had and not too sugary like many others are. We will be back when in town. read more

After years of having to drive across town to find good boba, this East Amherstian (?) was psyched to learn Tai Chi opened just down Transit! I used the app to place my order, timed to be ready for when I was on my way home from the gym - it worked great. I ordered passionfruit green tea w/passionfruit boba and 2-protein rice bowl. The tea was so refreshing and great flavor. The bowl was HUGE! I had to save half for lunch and tbh could have stretched to 3 meals, but 1) it was so yummy I couldn't put it down and 2) spicy tuna and salmon tartar don't keep fresh that long! You can COMPLETELY customize everything here - ingredients in the food, and drinks (e.g., sugar and ice content, flavors, extra boba, etc.). Ngl, my decision paralysis kicked in (if you're like me, def scope the menu options before you go!) but I overcame. My order was ready right on time at 7pm and packed up nicely. The place was clean and had a cute little dining area, and staff very polite. Only "con" is the plaza is hard to reach if making a left turn certain times of the day. Oh well, that's Transit. I've been getting Tai Chi from their Rochester location for almost 2 years now, so I was extremely excited when they opened one closer to home. The location isn't the best, (easy to miss) but it's cute and clean, and they deliver the same great food! Their bubble teas are great. They have the best boba in town. Other places have over cooked, sat in the container for too long, kind of mushy boba, but this tai chi has delivered chewy, fresh boba every time. My go to are ramens. My favorite is their spicy miso ramen with pork. Broth is delicious, meat is great, good portion sizes. If you are craving something other than your normal Chinese American Asian food and want to try a different Asian flavor, I definitely recommend tai chi! read more

Went in for the first time to order a tonkatsu ramen with pork and to go. Inside is a nice area to sit with plenty of booths and tables as well as an outdoor seating area. Overall the noodles were kind of stuck together but the broth had decent flavor.
